Terrorists Strike the Capital City, Stonedell

“Is this thing on?” A clown face appears in front of the camera as the news feed is hijacked in mid-air by someone in an assassin style robe but with a clown make up on with green hair. “Yes it is, the red dot is blinking,” The clown smiles. “Don’t worry folks, I haven’t really taken your favourite show off the air or anything but I’ll make this quick,”

“As you know, Stonedell has being hit by a bomb by a terrorist. I like to confirm that it is true and yes, I did do the bombing. I’m not going to deny the fact I am a terrorist and no, it isn’t the last bomb I’ve got up my sleeve,” The clown continues. “My name is the Jackal and I’ve planted 40 bombs all over the capital city of Stonedell, which is the capital of Blackdale. Yeah, I know it isn’t creative but I wasn’t around when they named the city and the country. I only get what is given to me,” the Jackal explains. “Allow me to explain something, I have a nuclear warhead in the city. It will go off if anyone tries to intervene in Blackdales or attempts to send aid of any kind.”

“I understand there are some goodie, goodie too shoes out there who are bent on being good. Don’t get me wrong, I love you guys. In fact, if it wasn’t for the good guys, someone like me would never have existed in the first place. There’s so much money to be made with the collapses of organised crime and their illegal content getting into nations. But don’t worry, even I have morals or is it ethics? Or both? It doesn’t matter because I doubt I have any anyway. Hahahahahah! This is all I asked for. Stay away. You can play hero after I’m gone but not before. If you do try, I will nuke the capital into the Stone Age and then, I’m going to set off a series of EMP’s as icing on the cake. Then, don’t think I won’t forget you,” The news feed cuts back to normal programs for the channels after the brief hijacking.

Social Media is ablaze with the bombing

The president has called for calm across the nation of Blackdale as both the military and the police have being called into action both across the nation and in the capital. It has being confirmed a nuclear warhead has being spotted inside the capital and 40 bombs are located within the city. At this current time, the president is asking for citizens to stay indoors and citizens inside the capital are to report to safe zones where they’ll be transported to locations outside the capital.

Citizens are advised to bring a piece of identity and one luggage of clothing to the evacuation zones. Do not go into the hostile zones for any reason. The military and the police are dealing with the situation and will enforce law and order in the capital.

to Imbrinium’s Explanation
The Deputy Prime Minister berates Imbrinium vindication
for the RMS Princess Jane Attack

In a highly charged and rowdy session in Parliament, the now seldom seen Prime Minister was not at PMQ at all. Instead the Deputy Prime Minister Cardinal Houston replaced him and gave a passionate reply to the official Imbrinium stance on the attack on the RMS Princess Jane as well as the alleged executions and forced relocations in Stevidian South Greal.

Cardinal Houston berated the Imbrinium accusation that the Kingdom had managed to obtain documents relating to secret military shipments of good and materials between the Imperial Dominion of Adaptus Astrates and the Stevidian mainland. He further emphasised the government’s publically open decision to not requisition Merchant Navy shipping at this time.

“The assumption by Imbrinium, and it is an assumption I must stress, that the Princess Jane was ferrying war specific materials is completely false. They say they have evidence but are unwilling to divulge it – that’s because it is fraudulent and won’t stand up to international scrutiny!” Cardinal Houston said today.

The Cardinal also viciously attacked the Imbrinium claim that civilian and hospital ships were being spared destruction en route to Stevidian South Greal while stating that the visible and highly obvious lack of ships successfully making it to the far eastern territory is proof enough that Imbrinium statement is false.

“We have port authority records, Adaptus Astrates has records, Morrdh and Lamoni will have records, these records will show Stevidian shipping departing ports – many of these will be hospital ships, foreign aid ships, and Stevidian military merchant vessels… but they don’t reach the destination because of the enemy ‘Hellion’ blockade. We have not hidden these ships, we have not even covered up that they were destroyed – it is not in our interest to prevent supplies reaching Stevidian South Greal! We’re open about it and it proves the blockade is extremely reckless in this regard.”

The Stevidian position on requisitioning Merchant Navy ships for military purposes is well own, and quite open. In fact third party governing bodies and port authorities have already openly informed and provided the authorities in charge of investigating the attack on the RMS Princess Jane details of the cargo she had on board. Aside from medical supplies for the passengers and crew, none of it was military specific.

But of course, these statements will be waved away by Imbrinium as propaganda or faked – regardless of authenticity. So what are the facts and how can we interpret the stories?

Imbrinium has backtracked on its unrestricted warfare policy to not include civilian ships. While it seems a little late for that, one should presume that any nation would attack a ‘civilian’ ship if it was being used for military purposes. But the validity of the Imbrinium claim can be very quickly, and easily, challenged. Ignoring the fact the government has ‘officially’ not requisitioned the RMS Princess Jane; the Imbrinium government has not decided to publish their intelligence on the alleged war materials the cruise liner was carrying. This of course draws very uneducated calls against Imbrinium for lying. But you can still dig deeper, the RMS Princess Jane was en route to Stevid from Caliban, that much is true – but the Stevidian mainland only really imports oil and food from Adaptus Astrates. The RMS Princess Jane cannot physically handle those sought of goods with a full complement of passengers and can’t handle bulk oil shipments in the first place.

The second part of debunking the Imbrinium argument lies in the position of the attack. The RMS Princess Jane was attacked deep within Stevid’s sphere on influence. The Royal Navy has a heavy presence in the central and western areas of Greater Dienstad. There is no reasonable common sense reason why the RMS Princess Jane would be used to ferry war materials from Adaptus Astrates in an area that is already heavily populated with military convoy traffic already doing just that.

The third and final part is that Stevid exports almost all of its arms to Adaptus Astrates who in turn produces limited arms for itself. The only real trade that takes place between the too counties in terms of a broader strategic sense for a war effort is oil (figures provided by the South Western Imperial Trading Company).

War Crimes?

Neither side has been completely innocent so far during the war, but the Kingdom of Imbrinium has certainly made a bigger case for itself for war crimes in terms of biological attacks and bringing about a pandemic in eastern Greater Dienstad. But the latest statement from their government seems to promote, or at the very least acknowledge, the actions of Imbrinium occupying forces in Stevidian South Greal.

The Imbrinium statement made reference to the scorched Earth policy in Stevidian South Greal in that civilians were given the opportunity to leave their homes before the buildings were razed to the ground in an effort to prevent insurgency. Cardinal Houston draw further reference to this in PMQ, “They fail to mention what happens if the people don’t leave. I fear the worst, as it would be a blatant ‘finger’ to their occupying dominance. I also question the legality behind these acts. Why is Imbrinium invading Stevidian South Greal? Why? To ‘liberate’ it or perhaps something less obvious? Imbrinium war aims have changed so much in the past year this government can barely keep up. But it strikes me as very odd, to invade and occupy a country, but completely annihilate its infrastructure and make the nation uninhabitable.”

Cardinal Houston then gave a response to the Imbrinium attack against Stevidian aid for its civilian people in Stevidian South Greal. “It sounds like a minor admission to Stevidian sovereignty there! But is it any wonder that Lame-Stevidians travel west and not east to the aid camps when Imbrinium destroys their homes and livelihoods in the name of preventing insurgency? The only reason for this nation’s inability to provide the maximum level of car to the refugees travelling west is because of the blockade and the Imbrinium war effort – we simply do not have the manpower, equipment and the supplies to provide both care to our people and fight the war. It is why I extend this Empire’s heartfelt thanks to the Mokastanna peacekeeping efforts in the territory, for without them the humanitarian crisis would be much worse.

Fracturing Alliance

The Bredubar Covenant alliance that binds the nations of Lyras, Lamoni, Mokastanna, Wanderjar, Imbrinium, Colatrin and Holy Marsh has never shown any signs of falling apart because all the signatories are quite active on the international stage. But Imbrinium’s actions may now have finally started to cause some cracks in the otherwise formidable alliance.

While the Imbrinium and Wanderjar casus beli against Stevid can be seen as ‘questionable’, and the Lyran position near impossible, the Covenant is in a limited war against the Holy Empire on the pretext that two of its members are at war. The Covenant is not an alliance in the literal sense in that it is either offensive of defensive in nature, only that is a mutual agreement to stand by common friends and uphold certain values. This has meant that all the nations in the Covenant have a limited casus beli against the Holy Empire due to the Imbrinium declaration of war. As of today only three members are engaged against Imperial forces.

But the actions of Imbrinium have been incredibly brash and contradictory to the Covenant to the point that it is believed that the Lyran’s are only still in the war due to the code of conduct of the Covenant. But the first cracks may be appearing. Mokastanna has been reluctant to stand with the Covenant against Stevid and has instead provided official support through peacekeepers and a flood of ‘volunteers’ for the war effort; additionally the Blood fever Outbreak has brought the two nations together as well. Coltarin and Stevid have had similar grievances about the CCA, and the attack on the Princess Jane seems to have been the final straw for the Free Republic of Lamoni.

Lamoni has withdrawn all diplomatic and political representation from the Kingdom of Imbrinium together with a broad range of economic sanctions. The sanctions in particular exclude only food and medicine and could seriously harm the arms trade between the two nations; both are manufactures of different pieces of Lyran Arms equipment. Furthermore Stevid is now allowed to produce equipment in Lamonian factories and assembly lines. On top of this, polls from Lamoni suggest that there is overwhelming national support for these measures and for the Holy Empire.

While the Covenant still stands very much united, there is a very deep and obvious rift between some of the members on the current conflict with the Holy Empire and the actions of their fellow member Imbrinium.

VEIYLAN - A new kind of armour system that uses electrical power to defeat anti tank threats on impact ala 'forcefield' opposed to conventional approaches has been developed by Haize scientists at Combat Armour Research Institute (CARI). Termed as "electric" armour or EA by CARI researchers, the system was developed in order to support Haize Ground Army Contingent vision of 40-50 tonnes MBT-2014/2015 with international-level protection without compromising other aspects of the tank such as agility and firepower.

The new development was stated to be a highly scalable system with variable levels of protection in contrast of current electric reactive armour used by other States of the world, explains lead researcher Dr. Kayama-Nehez "This [new] armour can be applied to almost everything land vehicles we have. APC, tanks, trucks you name it. The only limitation is the power supply and what kind of threats it's supposed to face."

The researcher further hinted on Haize progress on the concept by pointing out on its definition as opposed to current electric reactive armour developed by foreign States, briefly mentioning that Haize attempt does not only look at one particular aspect ('reactive') but also explores any plausible functionality of substituting conventional explosives with electrical energy.

However, current prototypes made by CARI researchers were publicly disclosed to be only experimentally tested against shaped charge weapons, both in static and dynamic environments. Haize Ground Army Contingent on the other hand decided to grant another term of funding should the Institute managed to experimentally verify the concept on other types of threats faced by armoured vehicles.

IBC news has just received that a large scale military exercise is underway in East Mordent. The MOD says it’s the first full scale joint exercise between all four services of the Crown’s armed forces and the EMDF (East Mordent defense forces). The exercise named Cobalt Archer will be a invasion by Morrdh across the DMZ, just like a year ago when they did just that in support of the nation of Stevid in the war between the Crown and that nation.

The plan is to better counter a invasion by Morrdh that took the Crown’s forces by surprise and crippling the IAF for a few days before catching the upper hand and counterattacking in force to the point which Morrdh sued for a cease fire.

The exercise will last over the next few weeks and approach on different sectors along the DMZ and the waters around East Mordent. Forces from Macabees sent air, sea, and land forces and along with advisors to watch as the operations took place along the DMZ. The exercise was meant to be a surprise to both West Mordent and the citizens of East Mordent to close to simulate what happens in real combat

With no end in sight for the war that has gripped the crown and the holy empire of Stevid some are saying enough is enough and it’s not coming from the streets, this information is coming from some top politicians and commanders in the military and cabinet. Some sources say that the crown has lost its way in the conflict and that the objectives have been met but the war wages on with no exit strategy and no end.

Sources inside the MOD stated that all of the military objectives have been met that were set at the start of the war. Supporters of the war are pushing for operations that are not needed anymore. The policy of total war against Stevid has cost the crown a lot more than it has gained. The total war strategy was supposed be used for forces outside the region not for its neighbors inside the region in a normal war.

The cabinet is also upset with the war too stating that the price is just too high for what the crown has lost. Sources say this goes high in the cabinet it’s not known how high but this rift could mean that even some in parliament could want to seek an end of this conflict.

Sources high up have stated that other nations in the region has offered to setup peace talks and was turned down on more than one occasion by the crown. It’s known now that the nations of Lyras and Lamoni have offered to have peace talks with both the crown and the holy empire. The crown has turned down all offers for peace talks thus far.

Qadesh, South Panooly A on-going insurgency in the city of Qadesh within Ordernite occupied "South Panooly" has been leaked to foreign media after it being kept in the dark on a media blackout by the Ordernite government and military. The insurgency broke out in November the 10th as a week before protests were being conducted due to religion being denied to them and prosecuted for it. On November the 10th several hidden Templeton armories that the Ordernite Military had not had any intelligence on were raided for it's arms by radical religious fanatics and Panoolies wanting freedom following in the footsteps of the rebels up north who toppled Templeton's regime. This was a response to the protests being dismantled by Ordernite and South Panooly military forces. The insurgency has been on-going for a month with the rebels having numbers of 35,000 and their positions mostly in the southern portion of Qadesh. Ordernite and South Panooly military forces have gone on the offensive utilizing air strikes and artillery barrages to destroy rebel positions in the south. Combat between both sides has been fierce in the last few weeks with casualties mostly on the rebel and civilian side reaching at a total of 4,500.

Although the United World Order is widely known for it's blatant human rights offenses, the rebels are not innocent either so far in the conflict. Sources have said that the rebels in the south have been organizing lynch mobs and killing white Panoolies indiscriminately, all citizens have already been encouraged who live in the southern portion to flee the city as soon as possible.

Chaos in Yakar
There has been an estimated 450 casualties in the city of Yakar following several bomb blasts and sounds of gunfire yesterday. Early 5:34 AM, sounds of gunfire were heard near roads leading to the refinery, the economic center of the city. At 6:21 AM, the refinery itself heard gunfire. About 8 people entering the building were killed by gunfire. A rocket launcher then went up from about 1.5 miles away, penetrating an oil pipe and crippling the refinery. Several blazes went up in the refinery area, killing about 180. The armed millitants proceeded to enter the main town, robbing and pillaging shops, and killing local police. Around sunrise, they fled northwest. Currently, there is a several person manhunt going on to find them.

"I looked out of my bedroom window and saw fires. I heard gun shots, screams and smelled blood and smoke. It was carnage. We boarded up our windows, like we do in a storm, and hid in the basement. Thank god they didnt come into our house." said Robinson Rates, a native of Yakar for almost 11 years.

Initial evidence suggests that these people are part of Black Light, a Fascist group currently holding large parts of land in Sayaga. It is also said that most generals are in support of Black Lights idea of a military dictatorship. Whatever the case, we will have more on this story. This is RSUNN.

Antietam An active shooter situation has unfolded at the Building of National Unity, where the National Assembly convenes, located in the Government District of Antietam. The Chancellery's Special Tactics Unit, the Antietam Guard, State Security Enforcers, and Capitol Police are on scene.

At least one casualty has been reported. The gunman has reportedly locked himself inside the office of a legislator, it is unclear which. At least one-thousand people work in the building daily, and at least three-hundred are still inside. The West Wing and the Central portion of the building are secure and on lockdown.

Boom with the Best Buck? ; Hahao Kinematics Institute Reveals Tactical-Sized Cruise Missile

Hahao Kinematics Institute reported that a new cruise missile was successfully joint tested with Haize Aero Ballistic Forces and excelled all the common points of a cruise missile. While no designation was disclosed by official sources, insider tips and general speculation agreed by consensus on its codename of OWL. This unofficial designation could be attributed to known press disclosure regarding the new missile; Hahao Kinematics Institute described the missile as 'tactical-sized' which can be carried en masse by the 'lowest air force denominator'.

Considering the lowest air force denominator in contemporary sense, it's to be suggested that the cruise missile can be carried by Haize manned jet fighters or even UCAVs. Given the Institute disclosed that the missile have ranges of excess 500 km, the unofficial OWL codename seems appropriate for a cruise weapon that can be carried by ordinary jet fighters. The Institute further detailed that each of the new cruise missile is some five to six times cheaper than conventional cruise missiles and capable to carry 'tactical payloads' of excess 100 kg.

By extrapolating the costs of current cruise missiles and the figure provided by the Institute, OWL likely have quarter of a million price tag or something similar but it sounds very expensive for a weapon if its range is just below 500 km as there are Haize tactical ballistic missiles that can go as far with much lower costs.

Another possible point of contention is its payload weight; it's not certain what is the actual payload of OWL except in ranges of '100 kgs' and if it's true, OWL would be an awful, bloated weapon with much bells and whistles without much substances. It's not certain whether the OWL project was made just to satisfy the ongoing war industry of Haishan but if the missile does exceed known publicised figures, it stands a chance to change the balance of power on Eastern Greater Dienstad, owing to its claimed small form factor and relative cheapness.

Morrdh Mulls Counter To Lyran 'Superbomber'

MORRDUN - The Morridane Ministry of Defence has declared that it is looking into possible ways of countering the Lyran LY912 'Dragonhawk' Superheavy Nuclear-powered Supersonic Strategic Bomber.

"Its a real game changer," A senior MoD stated. "Nothing comes close to matching, or even countering, the aircraft's capabilities. It is a major strategical concern as the bomber enters service with a slowly growing number of countries."

The MoD is currently considering a wide range of options to counter the Dragonhawk, though the bomber's stand-off range and operational capabilities is proving to be a major headache for the Commonwealth's military planners. Presently the most promising proposal is a small fleet of air defence blimps armed with long-range SAMs patrolling beyond the Commonwealth's borders, though it is likely to be upwards of a few years before the blimps become ready to begin trials.

Morridane Fears Are Unfounded; Haishan Classify Lyran Super-Aircraft As Expensive Deadweight

KUT-KUZYA - Haize Aerospace Defense Contingent, or more commonly known as its acronym HADC which manages one of the most complex and extensive integrated air defense system in Eastern Dienstad have released a public statement that called upon Morridane fears on the new Lyran "superbomber" unit.

Special Defense Commandant Lyvana-Kuril states that, "The Dragonhawk or so it's called is just a hype, branded in Lyran marked up marketing. We don't get it, on why are they scared of it. It's a large object which can be seen and engaged by any competent air force, from long range. Granted there might be specific doctrinal role for such aircraft but if you have a competent air force, with competent tactics and reasonable equipments, you should be unfazed by this new fangled thing. For us HADC, the nuclear aircraft is a strategic risk, to the operator and not for the defender."

In response of Morridane Ministry of Defense claims that the Lyran Dragonhawk is uncounterable, Haishan Defense Ministry stated it's within full capabilities of Haishan to accordingly deter such unit. Defense Ministry spokeperson Halchui Nenveh commented, "Intercontinental bomber? Kekeke, we have intercontinental SAM that can deter the aircraft at least two continents away. Morridanes are erroneously hyping up fears on this Dragonhawk. We already have counters, the tactics and the competent air defense force. It's nothing more than an expensive deadweight."

When asked to comment on Dragonhawk large capacity, the Ministry commented that it's feasible to turn commercial subsonic planes into large capacity missile carriers to match the payload of the nuclear airplane at vastly cheaper price point while simultaneously being more survivable. Coincidentally, the same idea is currently being trialed by Haize People Air Forces via their recent acquisition and conversion attempts on Haize commercial aircrafts to become high capacity and economical standoff solution.

Foreign Ministry demands return of Federal citizens held captive by the UWO!

A message released by the Foreign Ministry today demands that the United World Order release their prisoners of Mokan origin to the People's Unified Federation. Mokan Peacekeepers came under fire in South Greal earlier this week when an alteration happened between Piece keepers and Kingdom's special forces. It is unknown who fired first or the extent of the combat, but at least six Mokan casualties are confirmed but there may be more casualties unconfirmed. The Mokan Peacekeepers pulled out of the city the same day to avoid additional fighting.

Given the nature of this event and current history surrounding the war in South Greal, Parliament is believed to be forming a committee to determine the best course of action from here.

Footage shows a column of Dingo 2 MPRAV and Sorcha HIFV's moving through a section of the city re-secured by Ordernite forces. Locals look from their windows and from outside their homes as the armored column continues moving on.

Commentator: Qadesh Municipality which has over the last month been in constant warfare between savage rebels and the Ordernite Army. Recently the fighting has died down as Rebel forces have been finally quelled in Qadesh Municipality, with dozens of prisoners now in Ordernite hands the perpetrators and participants of the rebellion will meet the full wrath of the Ordernite justice system.

Footage now shows Locals celebrating as they wave flags of the UWO and cheer on Ordernite Army soldiers as they parade down a main street in the Downtown Area. Signs carried by locals say "HOLY PANOOLY UNDER ORDER!" and "PANOOLIES UNDER ORDER!".

Commentator: A Parade for the triumph of Ordernite forces defeating the rebels in Qadesh was held. Two divisions worth of Ordernite Army soldiers paraded past hundreds of locals in Downtown Qadesh. The population was celebratory and relieved that Ordernite forces had defeated the rebels as they cheered and held positive signs.

Commentator: Field Marshall Steglich held a speech to the South Panooly Defense Force outside the new South Panooly Ministry of Defense building that had finished construction several days ago. He addressed several topics along with just talk to raise the morale of the soldiers in attendance. The speech received many positive comments from SPDF officers in attendance and the soldiers themselves who were there for it.

Footage shows a picture being taken by Field Marshall Steglich and several SPDF officers as they pose together in a respectful manner and as the picture is taken they stop and converse with each other.

Two Pirate vessels were intercepted and destroyed near South Panoolie Territorial Waters.

Footage shows the wreckage of two small boats in the process of sinking as smoke rises in the air. Near the wreckage is a Ordernite Navy Destroyer which is sitting in the water.

Commentator: Two confirmed pirate vessels were sunk this afternoon by a Ordernite Navy Destroyer when a section of the 4th Fleet saw the vessels traversing the waters near the fleet. It was confirmed through a passing Helicopter that the vessels were pirate in nature. The Destroyer then fired some of it's munitions effectively sinking both vessels before any harm was possibly done to the Fleet.

Anti-Piracy operations in the seas now under control by the new South Panooly government have been on-going for months with the majority of it carried out by the Ordernite Navy.

"My fellow citizens of the People's Unified Federation, honoured allies, friends... There is something to that last word, 'friends,' over the last year we have watched our friends and allies threaten and argue each other, sometimes even shoot one another. It has been a rocky time for us to determine who we could trust.

Initially, the PUF was more than happy to stand with The Kingdom of Imbrinium against The Holy Empire of Stevid, but as we soon found out: our allies in Greal, Morrrdh and even Lamoni were siding with the Holy Empire. This forced us to take a step back and think about our next move.

We had trouble brewing at home, and I lost my eye in an attempted coup by Cartel forces. They almost convinced us that the coup was an operation by Haishan, nearly bringing out nations to war. Only through open negotiations and effective intelligence operations did we find out the Cartels were behind it all along. A final last ditch operation as we tore what was left of them apart.

However, as time went on the Federal government began to have other troubles: Varathon Blood Fever broke out in Belmotin, causing volunteers to join the fight against Imbrinium. The Commonwealth of Morrdh became more bold causing us worry about what would happen to our northern neighbor.

On the bright side, we were admitted as full members of the Covenant, but it seems that came with a price.

We watched as allies, nations who boast about protecting the weak and being honorable not only condoned acts of biological warfare and mass destruction against civilian population, but actively participate in it. The Free Republic of Lamoni, a nation who said "no," did little more than economic sanctions.

Of course, our cowardice was far greater. We continued to work with both sides. We deployed 'Peacekeepers' with the intent of trying to make the Covenant look respectable again. Only for our sons and daughters to engage in battle with our supposed allies.

We made the mistake of accepting our place, serving nations more powerful than us. And that costs us dearly.

The blood of our nation's soldiers runs in the streets of South Greal, our families in Belmotin suffer from the reckless deployment of biological weapons. This is what we received for our neutrality.

Due to our government's timid response, agents supporting both sides of the war have acted without orders.

We cannot let this conflict tear us apart. It is time we took a stand for what we believe. I asked Parliament for an Emergency Session to determine the PUF's absolute stance on this war. We will either support the Covenant right or wrong, or stand up the values that the alliance is based on.

As of now, they are debating a bill that will cut support and economic ties from the Kingdom of Imbrinium, demand they evacuate their bases on our soil, and give our full support to the people of South Greal. It is possible they may decide to fully support our most powerful allies, but I ask, at what price?

RMAF Confirms Sparrowhawk Deployments

RMAF - The Royal Morridane Air Force has confirmed the operational deployment of the RMAF's LY909 Sparrowhawk Force, currently based at RMAF Ostford in Lamoni, as the first few squadrons reach full operational strength.

Numbers 28 and 207 Squadrons, along with 237 Operational Conversion Unit, will be deployed to RMAF Morley in New Lincolnshire. The two new Sparrowhawk squadrons will be given the responsibility of forming part of the air defence of the capital of Morrdun. The third Sparrowhawk squadron, No. 31 Squadron, is being deployed to RMAF Lindun in Mordent to boost the air support of that island.

Two further squadrons and another Operational Conversion Unit are in the process of being formed, presently at RMAF Kelling in Northern Morrdh. The two squadrons, Nos. 19 and 31 respectively, are tipped to eventually move to RMAF Caven near Ramarck in the province of Gwentia.

Central Military Commission Condemns Kingdom of Imbrinium, Urges Dienstadi States For Actions

Sashan Vidin - The Kingdom is a perfect example of what a sane State should not be.

In light of latest Dienstadi development, the Central Military Commission of Haize Dasko have released a public statement over the latest international issues surrounding the region in order to clarify the Junta diplomatic posture over such issues. The Junta in particular have heavily condemned Kingdom of Imbrinium, the latest target for Haize scorn on their warmongering practice in the region. The statement is as the following,

"We have seen and observed the apparent failure of the Commonwealth Colonial Authority, on stopping a mistake that will easily triggered into a full scale war. We have seen the discord within the Bredubar Covenant where their very own members fighting amongst themselves. Ironically these organization, these supra-national entities are supposed to promote peace, and better upbringing to their locality and subsequently the region.

Now what does this tell us, the Junta? These alliances of convenience are nothing more than talk when they fail to be responsible and accountable for their own actions. We're not confident of our overseas partners, or rather friends. The Junta is intrigued on why these issues had been surfaced. Is it the lack of political will? Jokingly, Haishan can be said to have one of the lowest 'liberty' in Dienstadi as they call it, so to speak.

However, it's clear that who is the aggressor. Whilst we are still suspecting the Mokan Federation over the deployment of several millions of Lyran troops close to our borders and their whimsical coup allegation, or the still unexplained shootout of Imperial States, the Kingdom of Imbrinium do not shy from demonstrating it.

For years to come, the Junta have been more or less neutral in the workings of Dienstadi political map and we appreciate that our hands are not forced to do so. For years that our wishes and goodwill have been respected even though there are some of our lovely friends were close to breaking it yet the Kingdom of Imbrinium presented a perfect example.

This Kingdom, or rather entity of people obviously do not speak the common language as us, the Junta and we suspect they have the critical lack of decency. We had seen the reports from our diplomats in the Holy Empire and our connections close to the Mokan Federation. While majority of such reports could be argued with, one thing is clear. The Kingdom of Imbrinium are setting themselves far and removed from the Dienstadi region.

These peoples do not shy from attacking innocent bystanders. These vile group of beings have committed multiple crimes. Not only they taunted our space capabilities, they have the nerve to sink what is clearly a humanitarian mission. They even had the nerve to use bioweapons on unrelated population, condemning the populace with suffering for decades to come.

Our stance is clear. The Kingdom of Imbrinium is not a State that can be reasoned with, if they're a State or a Kingdom that is.The Kingdom is obviously a direct threat to the security and integrity of the region. Whether we will declare war or not, that's another matter entirely. We leave that speculation to our foreign counterparts to ponder with."

Talks of Peace:

After almost two years of fighting there is talk of peace talks but right now there is a ceasefire. This comes after back channel talks which lead to the ceasefire between the Crown and the Holy Empire. Not much is known of the details of the ceasefire agreement but this as far as we know that all combat military operations have stopped for at least a point to formal talks can be brokered.

Loss of a Friend:

With a lot political debate going on in the nation of Mokastana over their support of the Crown, this comes after months of support and new base deals. The Crown made this statement about the loss of support of Mokastana.

“With everything that has gone on in the past few weeks with the fighting between Crown forces and Mokastana peacekeepers in South Greal, and the VBF in Belmotin we knew this could happen. The loss of bases in Mokastana will not affect operations in the Eastern Bloc. While the loss of a close ally will affect the Crown it will not stop us from moving forward.”

While no one yet knows the full extent of what this will mean for the two superpowers but with the closing of the bases could mean withdraw of medical teams from Belmotin.

Beginning of a new era:

The Royal air force and Royal navy have taken the last of the new long range bomber fleets. The last two LY912 Dragon hawks where handed over to the MOD today, with tail numbers 499 and 500 which completed a contract of 500 airframes. With this the first four bomber squadrons are have been in service for over a year now. Two squadrons with the navy and two squadrons with the air force with fifty spare airframes between the two.

These squadrons will part of alert status aircraft with a number always airborne and ready to defend the Crown.

Sharp words from whom?

The other day the nation of Haishan had sharp word in condemning the Crown in its action with the ongoing war with the Holy Empire. The press release stated that the King after having to look at the map to see where this nation was laughed and stated.

“This is what you get when you let children at the table with adults; The Crown has little if any relations with Haishan much less trade. Its actions and words mean little to the Crown or the Kingdom.”

Haize Armed Forces Aims for Battlefield-Grade Laser Weapon(s) for Tactical Assets Before 2020

Haize Armed Forces official spokeperson Tachi-Korov have disclosed that the Armed Service is planning for full adaptation of light speed weapons in the repertoire of assets in the military assets fielded by the force. Citing it as the next evolution analogous to when Haize intercontinental ballistic and non-ballistic missiles radically changed the Haize military way of operations, the Armed Service argued that a multi-billion dollar push into directed energy weapons is necessary to ensure the effectiveness of Haize military units, inline with the newly formulated and modern Haize military doctrines.

While it's conclusively logical that such weapons will not appear to be handheld and carried by Haize infantries anytime soon simply due to weight and power needed for them, the picture alters dramatically when the Armed Services insist it can and should be installed on every tactical assets in operational status today. To put into clear perspective, the Armed Services employ some one million high mobility armoured jeeps into service and the military push meant majority of them could be toting laser guns before 2020.

But why lasers? In the given hypothetical scenario, an ordinary heavy machine gun would do the job better but it's important to see the contextual meaning behind the Haize Armed Forces announcement. Since the advent of continent-reaching missiles (some reportedly can circle the Earth twice and hit somewhere in the region), the Armed Forces, or rather the Haize Aerospace Defense Contingent have been preparing and manning one of the most complex anti-ballistic missile network in the Eastern Dienstad.

Coupled to the fact that cruise missiles are increasingly popular as demonstrated by unconfirmed reports of Lyran Protectorate voluminous missile attacks against the naval forces of Holy Empire of Stevid, the air defense forces face an unique challenge on keeping Haize skies safe. One, to counter increasingly sophisticated intercontinental missiles that may carry more than one independently guided warheads and another, to deter mass swarms of cruise missiles that are getting smarter and faster for low level air defenses to cope with.

In these unique conditions, an effective laser weapon might fit the bill where ordinary intercept munitions are simply too slow or cannot defend against saturation attacks which is the staple tactic of any modern NS nation in the world today. However, traditionally laser weapons were simply too costly and cumbersome to handle with. Case in point, the Army's JLON megawatt chemical laser program designed for static defense.

Refuting popular misapprehension to the light speed weapons, the Armed Forces is confident on its renewed interest in such weapons, particularly with new advances presented by the premier Vakolev Energy Institute and other Haize institutes. A source close to the military project conducted by the Institute stated that the weapon in progress can be described to be compatible with Haize expansive semiconductor industries and can be said to be literally a light speed cannon.

It's indisputable that solid state lasers, synonymous with modern Haize electronics such as DVD players are literally everywhere in Haishan but these are relatively low powered than the battlefield-grade strength needed by the Armed Forces, yet alone for one that can exhibit the power of a cannon shell at range. Both of these do not exactly fit into military standard of survivable and mobile but it wouldn't be strange if the principles behind them are being applied into Haize military laser weapon programs that are frantically being advanced upon the Lyran attack in Central Dienstad. In this case, the Armed Forces would be a stout learner, combining both principles of military intelligence and civilian expertise in devising a weapon system that may as well change the balance of power in Eastern Dienstad.

As aforementioned, it's not clear or even logical for laser weapons to be used as a direct surface-to-surface weapon as depicted by the whimsical picture on top of the article, but one application stands out which is air defense. The Haize air defense network which protected some five billion Haize from unscrupulous attack will need all the help it can get, considering Junta refusal to expand the military numbers on various reasons.

Perhaps, more nefariously these weapons as attributed by the Vakolev Energy Institute insider can be used in air-to-surface role, taking out high value targets with perfect deniability since it would be indistinguishable from munition explosion or any other explosive events. What is certain however, once such weapons have been fully inducted into Haize Aerospace Defense Contingent, enemy air forces will find it incredibly difficult to penetrate one of the most complex air defense networks in Eastern Dienstad.

Parliament ends closed session, Economic sanctions against the Kingdom of Imbrinium

A fierce debate tore Parliament apart last week at both supporters and opponents of the Kingdom of Imbrinium faced off. In the end, The Bill "Revision of Allied Relations Regarding the South Greal Conflict" introduced by the President and allies within the People's Party passed. This bill will require the end of hosting naval bases for the Kingdom, a formal withdraw of support during the conflict, and heavy tax penalties for trading with Imbrinium companies for an undermined amount of time. The stated goal of the bill was to keep the North East free from Central State aggression and promote honorable conduct in warfare.

In addition to cutting the naval bases and many economic ties with the Kingdom, the Bill included provisions on increasing funding for refugee operations, revisions in the peacekeeping methods in South Greal, and requirements needed to meet before the sanctions can be lifted.

Surprisingly, this bill also reinforced some previously removed sanctions against the Holy Empire, many of which would be enacted if the Holy Empire attempted to expand East again.
