The basic idea for the IC thread is for RPs to have characters who are inmates in one of the most feared prisons in the Dragona empire, Iowan Fothisev Platohol. You can have any conceivable species- as long as it's sentient- for most any conceivable reason, but bear in mind that only the worst are sent to Iowan Fothisev Platohol, and they have little chance of survival due to the overly harsh torture and labour routines of any Dragonan prison. The worst of the worst are sent here, at least those that survive the capture and transit process, and sentences are often a few hundred years.

Iowan Fothisev Platohol is a large station over a small mineral rich moon orbiting the large gas giant Himalok III. The station consists of several torture, punishment, habitation and and storage modules, as well as a docking port and separate security and habitation modules for the crew. The station covers about 47 % of the moon (called Jantoe), mostly on the dark side, and has several large shafts that tether it to the planet, allowing access to the mining operations bellow. Inside, the prison sections, the corridors are filthy, cramped and have a slight irritant mixed into the air, in contrast to the large, clean and comfortable, the quarters in both sections taking their respective conditions to the extreme.

Ok, so back to the topic at hand. This is the signup OCC thread, so all the misc goes here. Characters, like I said can be anything from any background and for any crime, however, there are some crimes that would have meant instant death. Crimes like this are: Attempted assassination of the imperial family and attempting to assassinate foreign dignitaries. Some crimes that you could consider: Terrorism, following the Violetist religion, breaching military security or attempting to incite conflict with other powers.

The thread starts off just as the convicts are being unloaded at the station, and will follow their ‘adventures’ in the station. Feel free to have them do pretty much whatever they want, the Dragona don’t tend to care what happens between the prisoners, be it murder, rape, torture, etc. Hell, I’ll even be willing to entertain the idea of a break out.

Kindred was one of the leading members of the F799 Criminal Syndicate, a galaxy spanning criminal empire, after its demise he is the only known surviving member of leaqdership, his crimes are to numerous to count but they include racketeers, extortion, terrorism, murder, gun running, smuggling, kidnapping, impersonating a member of the government, and many more crimes, though he cannot be fully implicated in many of them-though he is the main and somtimes only suspect

Brief bio:Having gained full use of emotions, unlike other Tina Models, Zealot has full human emotions, as well as a deep hate for sentient organic life. She left the Union and began to kill or destroy any organic life she could fine when available, until caught and imprisoned in the Dragona empire.

Brief bio: Brian Mcwardsen was the best soldier in the Space Marine Special Ops. He participated in every black op known to man and survived all of them. Killing was an instinct for him but he was no grunt. He was ranked in the top 10 smartest soldiers list with the rank of two. He was shrewd and cunning so he was able to survive every mission. He had fought with humans and aliens alike,slicing and shooting and blowing them up anywhere any time. He went rogue when he learned that his last mission was meant to be a suicide mission because the government feared him. They had also killed his family while he was doing this mission. When he learned of this,he went berserk and seeked revenge on everyone involved with this mission and the death of his family. He blew up courts, parliament buildings, government offices and even military bases. He killed scientists,diplomats,accountants,generals all alike. He blew up major structures but has never once killed an innocent civilian. All his kills and destructions were pointed at the government. He had also destroyed embassies of his nation in other countries,killing the ambassador and his guards but never harming the natives the country. He had assasinated three high-ranking officials and nearly killed his fourth,who survived but lost both his legs and his right eye. Brian had given mission secrets out to the public on 6 different missions,which gave him treason charges. He was finally captured when they sent the army to his base,though they lost nearly 200 soldiers in the fight. He had been marked as a super threat and was then sent off to the Dragona Empire who would make sure to place him in a very tight security prison in return for a large payment.

Also wanted for attempting to incite racial hatred, attempting to incite war against a foreign power and multiple counts of terrorism, murder, vandalism and aiding and abetting enemies of the state by the Ediras Coalition.
Brief bio: Kav Thajid is a member of the Bothok Jut Shuphar, a Drell/Turian separatist group who want to force the Dragonan Empire to concede a number of planets to the newly formed Ediras Coalition. While Ediras claims no responsibility, some have noted that many members, such as Kav Thajid, have received high level military training. Kav, for example, is a qualified Assassin, whose background is untraceable prior to his joining of Bothok Jut Shuphar.

Refused medical treatment and killed his troop on a scouting mission, when commander refused to persue Armed Trespassers. Returned to Lemonius after being pulled from service on mental health trauma. Failed to appear in court, and ran from peace officers. Used an illegal firearm to attempt to kill officers, one was wounded. Stole a vehicle from a parking complex, but was pulled from the vehicle before he could escape.

Brief bio: Originally from Batheda, a small state on the outskirts of Tharsinian territory, Alarico started his life of crime at a young age. Batheda had made an attempt to leave the Tharsinian Solar Empire six years before he was born, and the hatred of the central government was something he was indoctrinated with. With very little money, his family was forced to con and steal, resulting in the death of his father and uncle at the hands of a soldier. Soon after this great loss, he joined the Tharsinian Republican Brigade, a small group wanting to remove the Empire's current form of government.

On the run from authorities who wanted to execute him for treason, he joined Abran Hestokha (a well known criminal) in a crusade of terror and crime. However, after betraying Abran, he fled to the Dragona Empire, where his dishonest ways continued.

Brief bio:
Was sent into the Navy for the three year compulsory service at 18, his home planet was attacked and his family were killed by mercenaries. He stayed in there for many years, until turning to the Galactic Enforcement, where he could hunt down the mercenaries that he longed to kill, and share his experience. He went to may off world sites, captured many aliens, and turned to the prison on Jantoe.

Crimes/ reasons for going to the prison: Head of the Jabwaaba Pirate Family, a criminal organization that has terrorized the kashyyyk area and even other parts of the galaxy. Recently she organized a small revolution on one of Kashyyyk's planets and caused large losses, both in lives and material things.

Brief bio: She was born to Marion Jabwaaba, former head of the jabwaaba Pirates, and to Eliza Jabwaaba. At the young age of 15 her father and mother died due to police raids on their home base, she was forced to take the lead of the group. At 16 she attacks one of Kashyyyk's largest mines and almost completely destroys it. Ever since that she has been causing numerous raids on trading ships and even attacking the military. She has been the youngest and most infamous pirate leader of all times.

Not much would happen really, given the prisones are mostly used for forced labour the guards wouldn't do anything about it, apart from make sure it couldn't be used as a weapon. The prisoners on the other hand...

I relaise there's not much to go in in the OP, but I wanted to get a bit going first, and felt like I was starting to ramble. For now, note that your charicters will be in cells, and could be with one other person if you so wish, if you want you can organise charicter's being in the same cell here between yourselves. I'm already working on the next IC post, which'll be probably give you much more to go on and, depending on what the response is to the OP, will be either still on the ship or in the station.

Brief bio:

Though her place of birth is unknown to her, Sei Vydam was not born in the Kitsune Empire of Xiscapia, though she is a citizen. Her parents fled wherever her original birthplace was, or possibly birthed her on the way, to Xiscapia. As they were both adults of strong bodies and sound minds, they were required by Xiscapian law at that time to enlist in the military, which they did. Consequently both were killed during the Korr War, and Sei was left an orphan at six years of age, to be cared for by kitsune foster parents. This created in her a distrust and general belligerence towards authority and the Xiscapian government in particular, which also showed up in schooling, where she achieved only average marks in the rigorous Xiscapian school system and was repeatedly punished for disobedience, insubordination and fighting.

Just before becoming of legal age, thought to be around seventeen, Sei dropped out of school and signed on to crew the scrap hauler Yamaguchi, where she worked for about six months before transitioning to a merchantman after a contract disagreement with the Yamaguchi's captain. This led to her next four years of work on civilian starships as a crew member, usually cargo haulers or deep space miners, oftentimes as either an engineer or part of the security detail. At about twenty one, as head of security of the deep miner Nojima, Sei rallied the crew to fend off a pirate attack then, in a feat displaying typical Xiscapian audacity, boarded the raider's vessel and slaughtered or captured the rest of the crew. Upon returning to Xiscapia the grateful owner of the Nojima gave Sei the pirate's craft, which she sold for scrap, as it had become unspaceworthy due to the damage it received during the battle. Using the money she gained from that transaction, Sei purchased a small, outdated second-hand Customs vessel, an Archer class gunship, named her the Thoughts on Paying Rent, and struck out on her own.

The woman worked as a pirate tracker and hunter, raiding smaller marauder vessels she could overtake and selling information on the locations of larger craft and bases to the authorities or other criminals. It is unknown exactly how long she did this for or precisely how many outlaws she killed, but after an elapse of about half a year all the brigands on the fringe of Kitsune Imperial territory had either been destroyed or chased off. Impressed by the resourcefulness and ruthlessness of the hunter, the Kitsune Empire offered her a job running supplies to the Berrax rebels in the now-defunct Greali Empire. Loathe to have anything to do with the Imperials, but needing the money now that her regular supply of acquisitions had dried up, Sei begrudgingly accepted. Sei spent the next year among the rebels on Nova Max, running guns and other supplies to them and hiring out as a bounty hunter to track down and capture or kill Greali officers or other enemies of the Berrax.

After another year working inside Greali territory, hunting military commanders, wealthy industrialists and powerful politicians alike, Sei fled Greali territory as tensions between it and the Kitsune Empire began to heat up. Returning to Xiscapia, Sei nearly lost her entire bank account after having her identity stolen by an Xiscapian Syndicate hacker, who was stopped only after she hunted the man down. This hacker proved to be a young sixteen year old kitsune named Enishi, who, after nearly being killed by the vengeful anthromorph, explained that he had been kicked out of his home and impressed into the Syndicate for his unparalleled security breaching skills. Ironically saving his life from Syndicate enforcers, Sei took Enishi off-planet with her, deciding she could use someone with his talents. He was only too happy to help, as she gave him room, board and all the technology he could want.

Making their way to the Acerian Federation, the duo was involved in the closing days of a civil war as the strong Federal government hunted down the last of the Republican holdouts. During this time they worked for both sides, eventually finally siding with the Federals in order to stay alive before the last of the Republicans were defeated. Later on they worked for merchant companies and private security firms, bringing in bounties on the pirates who had sprung up with the construction of a large freighter fleet at the end of the war. However, when the United Coalition war began, between a strong pirate faction and the Acerian government, Sei and Enishi left the Federation.

Since then Sei has continued to take bounty contracts from a variety of sources across two galaxies, notably participating in the capture of the notorious terrorist "Three" in the nation of Verlorenen. Her latest contract involved the assassination of a certain high-ranking Dragona officer and the stealing of highly sensitive materials for an undisclosed client, at which she succeeded, but the bounty hunter was unable to escape law enforcement and so found herself captured. Her partner, Enishi, and her ship remain free, but not as of now in a position to rescue her, as Enishi has no fighting abilities and the Thoughts on Paying Rent is only moderately armed. Unbeknownst to her captors, however, Sei remains in communication with Enishi via a transmitter chip concealed on her person. The fate of the two partners thus remains to be seen...
