Name your son Zaldy. It's Filipino and it's what my mom named me.

Some boy names I've thought about are Nicolae, Julius, Dennis, Malcolm, Huey, Marcus, Robert, and Alaric (odd name I know, but for some reason I love that name ). Some girl names I've thought about are Aliyah, Alexandra, Zoe, Jazmine, Mya, Daphne, Genevieve, Sophia, and August.

Not that I'm planning on having kids any time soon though.

Depends, if it be a boy then Jack, Julius, Maurice, Gilgamesh, Solomon, or Augustus would be considered. I want a strong powerful name something fitting of a son, a true man, someone who will do important things in the future, plus I love history so something from history is nice. If it be a girl then I will have the mother decide, though I will give advice when asked ultimately it will be up to them. Father names Son, Mother names Daughter, that is how I shall do it.

Gilgamesh is an amazing name, it is from one of the most epic stories of all time he was pretty much the first action hero, what is so wrong with it? It naming your kid after a color or direction is ok then why not Gilgamesh? sounds better than North-west, or blue ivy.

Kinda got it from Judith. I personally like it it's unique without being to asinine at least in my opinion. Could always spell it differently (Judsen, Judson, Judsin and so on). Just thinking out loud though not trying to sell the name to you.
