Repeal "Liberate Panem"

Category: Repeal | Resolution: "Liberate Panem" | Proposed By: District XIV/Velkon

The Security Council:

Recognizes that the resolution to "Liberate Panem" has served its purpose, as the region now remains firmly in control of natives who have the region's best interests in mind,

Knowledgeable that a restoration effort may fail to succeed if the natives are unable to protect their region from outside, unwanted forces,

Cognizant of popular support of not only a repeal of this liberation - but a revival effort as well - by the natives,

Hopes the region's current inhabitants will fulfill their promise, which is near impossible to fulfill with a liberation in place that prevents them from placing additional security over their region,

Hereby Repeals SC #153, "Liberate Panem".

"Perhaps I am the only one who feels suspicious, but it seems odd to me that now that you have the delegacy for the region, you want to repeal the liberation. Until you can adequately explain why you feel like this council should trust you with powers it felt appropriate to strip from your predecessor, I cannot endorse this proposal."

As I've said before, I wish to refound and rebuild the region. How do you expect me to do so when people can freely join the region which prevents a refound?

Well, my in-Panem puppet ain't really seeing anything wrong in the region yet, so meh, FULL SUPPORT.

Although yes, all of the flip-flopping in the region is sort of frustrating....

I echo what Wrapper said below this post. I would like to see Signs and the other older natives post to verify that they support the refound, knowing full well the risks involved.

To satisfy my curiosity when this liberation passed, I threw a puppet into the region. Shortly afterward, there was a regional poll asking if they should refound (non-natives like me were told not to participate). From what I recall the vote was unanimously in favor of a refound, but only a few natives voted, including Signs. I think it was 4-0 or some small number like that.

To me this is enough native support to vote for a repeal, but I would like to see confirmation from Signs first.

So when it comes through Signs will be able to put up a password and then we can work from there to refound.
