Since the first Civil War had been ended by the victory of the Stillmarkian Royal Army (SRA), there has been peace. But even though the upcoming times have been expected to be unstable and dangerous, the Monarchy surprisingly managed to prosper. But now, after eight years of prosperity and welfare, the grim times have come again. General Angus Brodick, former supporter of the Red Dawn (Original faction, that stood against SRA during the Civil War and was defeated), has already formed a new military organization, the followers of Red Dawn – Stillmarkian Liberation Army (SLA). SLA tends to uphold the Red Dawn legacy and original purpose – to overthrow the monarchy and establish brand new government to rule over the Stillmark...

After several terrorist actions, SLA has finally started to arm masses of supporters, rebels and revolutionaries. Gen. Brodick has ordered his soldiers to take and hold Laston, Coldrun, Bloomrich and Natesville – towns located in the eastern region of the Kingdom – The Ostenmarch. Armed groups, each about a 1000 men strong, have captured those towns after several hours of sporadic firefights, killed policemen and militia, took over the government buildings and decapitated the representatives of the Crown, so all the Royalists know, what awaits them, if they refuse to support the SLA.

Prince Thyden Stilloft, the Commander in Chief of the Stillmarkian Royal Army, has known, that he must act quickly to suppress the insurgents, so he has ordered General Sir Ryden Calter to advance with 1st Division into Eahan, secure the city and send 3rd Mechanized Infantry Regiment. to retake Natesville and hold both cities, until 2nd Division arrives. Moreover, the Air Force should have supported the Army with air recon and, if needed, even ground bombardment.

On the Royal TV, King Thymure Stilloft has indicated that SLA is nothing more, then a cutthroat group of terrorists, whose only wish is, that the realm should fall into chaos and fear. The King himself performed an excellent speech, in which he ensures the civilians, that the SLA actions won´t fade unpunished.

Great battle took place in Natesville. Advancing 3rd Mechanized Infantry Regiment came across tough resistance of the SLA forces stationed in Natesville. Several hours of intense firefight took many lives on both sides, but in the end, the SLA forces couldn´t withstand the furious pressure of 3rd Mechanized and were shattered and pushed out of Natesville. Meanwhile the SLA has already armed 1st and 2nd Revolutionary Divisions (Infantry only) and Gen. Brodick has ordered these divisions to surround Eahan and make a massive assault in an attempt to take the city.

A bloody and intensive battle is taking place in Eahan. Ferocious SLA rebels are slowly, but surely, pushing the Royalist 1st Division out of the city. Buildings are damaged by bullets, streets are full of bodies shot apart, cars are in flames and daemonic black smoke is floating above the devastated city. Famous Stadium, home of Eahan Athletic F.C. has been used as regroup-point by withdrawing Royalist forces. And then finally, as the last trembling a murmuring SRA infantryman left the city, whole Eahan has been taken by SLA insurgents as well as some left over APC´s and field guns. Decimated 1st Division of SRA has routed to Tappton, where 2nd Division and 3rd Mechanized Infantry Rgt. just arrived. Whole SRA now have active 11 500 soldiers, 30 tanks and 400 APCs. Prince Thyden has ordered the SRA to stay in Tappton, reorganize and get ready for another fight. Royalist Air force is providing support with 18 Jet Fighters and 16 combat helicopters, plus 1st Airborne Rgt. of 1500 men.

King Thymure Stilloft is publicly asking for immediate international help.
“These so called freedom fighter are in fact war criminals, they are decapitating and torturing enemies, like if we even aren´t citizens of the same country. This madness must stop and it must stop immediately. I hereby humbly ask any Nation, that can provide us with war materials support us with military intervention, to do so. Please, we need help.”

SLA has finally armed all volunteers, who have been available at the moment. Now, the SLA dispose of 35 000 armed volunteers (some army veterans, but mostly poorly trained men), 45 captured APCs and unknown number of field guns to provide AT support. Gen. Brodick has given the SLA forces some time to regroup and rest.

Gen.Brodick has appeared on the SLA TV, where he has shown several photos from Eahan.
“This wannabe King is calling us murderers and criminals? Look at this photos, those poor civilians were shot by the Royalists before we have taken Eahan.” Brodick shouted and pointed on some creased photos. “This weak and corrupt monarchy should have ended 8 years ago, in the last civil war and we would not have to be here now!”

Prince Thyden Stilloft, worried by the circumstance, has ordered mobilization of army reserves, so the citizens wanting to defend their country, would have a possibility to participate. The General Staff of SRA have informed the Prince, that it will take some time, to arm the citizens and give them at least basic training.

Gen.Bernard Mann has been promoted to the leader of 1st Division, after Gen. Sir Ryden Calter has been missing, after the battle of Eahan.

SRA orders now are to fortify in Tappton, do not let SLA to take the city and leave the region. Stillmarkian Royal Air Force has been given task to actively search for enemies and destroy them, although bombardments of cities and towns are strictly prohibited, as we want to hold civilian casualties on minimum.

SLA forces have been strengthening their positions in Eahan, confiscating civilian vehicles, fireman trucks and ambulances to be fully motorized and yet better prepared. Gen. Brodick has formed special units from former military veterans – The Liberation Guards, counting to 1000 best equipped and trained men.

Gen. Brodick is publicly denigrating the Monarchy, asking privat military organizations to intervene. “We have to change this weak Kingdom into something better, where we can live altogether in peace. Any military group can be paid from captured goods – money is not the problem.”

The SRA mobilization progress has been a great disaster for the national defense. From approximately 1 800 000 men available for military service, only 100 000 has answered the mobilization call, been armed and now are on their way to Tappton area. The rest has not come to the mobilization offices and there is info, that about 150 000 men are trying to join SLA instead!

The 150 000 civilians that have joined SLA, rather than support the Royalists, are now being armed with the weapons confiscated at regional police stations, militia camps and battlefields. It will take some time to prepare such a big amount of volunteers to fight. The is SLA also trying to buy small arms on the Black Market and it is still asking other private military companies to join their cause.

We agree with the monthly fee. Your troops will be continuously supplied by the SLA and you can ask for shelter at any SLA military camps or unit positions, SLA officers will meet your requirements. You are also absolutely free to loot and confiscate anything from Royalist soldiers, supporters and civilians. However anyone supporting the Revolution and SLA is under our protection and should not be harmed in any way.
You should deploy at Eahan airport, which we control. Then you are free to perform any military actions you desire. Diversions, ambushes, officer assassinations, etc. Or you can directly join our main forces in the upcoming offensive.

Also, we would like to inform you that our nation has a very stable black market. Engagements are starting to take place in the whole Eahan County. A rather big amount of casualties has been reported from intensive ongoing firefight near the town of Donnerham, where the 2nd mechanized infantry regiment ended up in a fight with strong insurgent forces.”

Operation Blue News
Many smaller engagements have been reported in the whole area as well as several bigger. The SLA motorized convoy has been bombarded by the SRA - Air Force (SRA-AF) near the town of Natesville. An intensive combat between 2nd Mechanized Infantry Regiment and the Liberation Guards is ravaging the Donnerham area. The whole situation is unclear and confusing.

A SRA-AF Jet Fighter has been shot down near the town of Donnerham by an AA-weapon, probably captured during a fierce firefight in that area. Meanwhile, SRA Paratroopers have successfully pushed the insurgents out of Natesville.

Many volunteers are waiting in Eahan, eager to be armed and equipped, so they can help their SLA comrades in the fight for freedom. A minor riot took place in Eahan, ending in several executions of supposed Royal supporters and loyalists. Also Sir Francis Aldder, the major of Eahan, has been captured trying to silently escape the city and later publicly executed, as the enemy of the “liberated folk of Stillmark”.

Many lives of SLA soldiers has been lost during the ongoing engagements in the Donnerham woods, nevertheless the Liberation Guards have been still able to hold most of Donnerham city itself and they are now waging struggling close quarter combat for each building in the city center.

The pilot of shot-down jet fighter has catapulted himself and been taken captive few moments after he landed near Donnerham. He has been publicly beaten and several minutes later executed. A video tape, containing the whole procedure has leaked and been viewed by thousands on the internet.

A new field hospital has been established in Tappton to take care of the injured soldiers as well as civilians. Prince Thyden Stilloft, the commander of SRA has been heard, that the first priority is to lower the civilian casualties to a minimum. The Prince has also set up a SRA Signing office for mercenary companies, which would like to earn money by helping the Royalists to suppress the insurgents.

His Majesty Thymure Stilloft, the King of Stillmark has made a speech, broadcasted on the Royal TV. He has appeled on the Stillmarkian civilians, to do their duty and enlist. “The times are bad and our beloved country needs this conflict to be ended swiftly.” He said. The King has also made several promises, that “the government will be changed in many ways”, and “the civil right and political freedoms should be extended greatly”. The TV also broadcasted several disturbing photos and videos of SLA horrible crimes, pointing, that SLA would rather exterminate half the population, then live in country with more than one political opinion. Gen. Brodick has been described as a monstrous manipulator, who is using the liberation and republican ideas to fool the people and camouflage his will to build up his own terrorizing regime.
