Gay Rights and Gun Rights

Postby NFA » Fri Aug 01, 2014 3:18 pm

I'm a Libertarian, please read my sig, and I will just cut to the point of this. My opinion: Gay Rights is indispensable to Gun Rights and Gun Rights are indispensable to Gay Rights. It amazes me that both the Left and the Right preach about freedom and equality, yet they both take positions that contradict that argument. The Left talks about Gay Rights but they infringe or violate Gun Rights, the Right talks about Gun Rights but hates Gay Rights. I'm not gay, however it is my belief that if I was I should be able to marry 10 different men if I wanted to. It is also my belief that if I wanted to own a 1000 round capable machine gun with flamethrower attachment I should be able to do so. Come on people, it is time we STOP PICKING AND CHOOSING WITCH RIGHTS WE RESPECT AND UPHOLD AND THOSE WE IGNORE AND INFRINGE UPON!!!!!!!
Don't like Gay Marriage: don't be in one!
Don't like Guns: don't own one!

This OP is lacking.
Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.
The Parkus Empire: Being serious on NSG is like wearing a suit to a nude beach.
New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

No, you can't.

I've never heard of a plethora of potentially fatal projectiles flying from the mouth of a gay person.
Furthermore, I consider that feminism must be destroyed.

Well...You got a point there..

Right to bear arms and social covenant are an odd comparison.

'Remember, gays don't kill. People kill.'

In all seriousness, this OP argument is crap because:
1) Guns were created to harm other people, gay people weren't.
2) It's a choice to own a gun, it's not a choice to be gay.

I've heard of gays killing people, Obama's former drug dealer's boyfriend killed him with a hammer.

What we need is obviously gay control. :p

Lets take a look at something here.

Norway's latest big shooting was in 2011, when Anders Breivik shot 69 kids at a Labour Party camp. Norway has incredibly restrictive gun laws, and the bullets he used cannot be acquired there. So wanna know how he got them?

He bought them from the United States.

Tim Mcveigh killed 168 people without firing a single shot from a gun. You are more likely to be killed by a car then a gun.

More car death then gun deaths.
And the logic is right, if we start banning things that can kill people... Terrible thought, couldn't drive car, cook with knife, play baseball or golf, couldn't use hammer to build...

I wholeheartedly support gun gay rights. Guns deserve to be gay- I think it's the quality of the gun that matters, not how it discharges its bullets.

I also support gay gun rights. Gay people should all have guns.

Sup, son?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Seriously, there's nothing that links gay rights to gun rights besides the word "rights", and I suspect the OP knows this. This is a silly thread.

You're gonna need to flesh out this connection you're proposing between homosexuality and gun ownership. Do gay people need guns to defend themselves from anti gay angry mobs? Have gun shows become bastions of the gay community?

Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.
We have nothing to lose but the world. We have our souls to gain.
You!

Nothing you can possibly do can make God love you any more or any less.
