Appearance: Abolish sleevery. There are a few differences between her and these images, however. Kroshtukans do not have human ears, instead they have a pair of rounded hyena-like ears on either side of their head. [This is due to them evolving from their homeworld's equivalent of hyenas.] They have short, black tails covered in equally black fur. The tips of their fingers and toes are covered in black, rough skin that provides extra traction and is largely an evolutionary holdover. They have noticeably sharper and somewhat longer canines than humans, and their back teeth are also more jagged. Their digestive system, physical strength, and sense of smell, are several times stronger than a mere human's. Psychologically they are often more competitive than cooperative, and females tend to have an extremely powerful maternal instinct.
Likes/Dislikes:
Likes: Food, booze, smashing shit, sex, loud music, fast vehicles, off-roading
Dislikes: Extreme cold, confined spaces
Abilities:
Immense strength - Self explanatory. She is also good with large weapons because of this.
High Stamina - What use is strength if you don't have endurance, after all.
Tracking - If you get on the wrong side of Redwing, she can easily hunt you down. And you won't get away.
Driving - She's an expert in maneuvering vehicles that travel in two dimensions. Cars, boats, tanks, trains, she's good with them all. Also subs and planes.
Cooking - She's an expert cook. Especially with meat...
Inabilities:
Starfighting - She cannot into space. She works best with gravity, and tends to get disoriented when trying to fly a starship.
Cooking - ...just try not to ask what kind of meat she uses. You probably don't want to know. You definitely don't want to know. You don't want to know.
Competitiveness - Does not easily play well with others.
Bio: Ziruss grew up on one of many Kroshtukan colony-worlds, controlled by a small but well-off-enough clan, a few kiloparsecs from Calico. They did what many Kroshtukan clans did - Pirate. They raided transport ships together, fought off intergalactic police forces together, got unimaginably drunk together, pillaged small Baltician villages together; you know, normal family stuff. How she ended up on Calico, you ask? The speeder she was flying got sucked into the FTL draft of a heavy cruiser and she got shot at the planet. She still doesn't like space travel. She joined up with Redwing since he seemed like a nice, honest-to-Gods pirate.

Bio: Malcolm Jones was born to a lower middle class family on a core planet. He had wanted to be a Doctor for as long as he could remember, but was unable to afford to go to Medical School. So, after University, he joined the military, which put him through Med school in exchange for several years of service. During this time he became a Trauma Surgeon, and got a good deal of experience treating battlefield wounds. Once his term of service was up, he got a job working at a hospital on the core world where he grew up, where he continued working as a Trauma Surgeon for a number of years. Life was going pretty well for Dr. Jones, until one fateful day when he received a call that one of his patients, who was recovering after surgery, had suddenly died. A quick investigation revealed that the patient died as a result of being given the wrong medication, and that the last person to administer any medication to the patient was a young nurse who had just gotten out of nursing school and who had only just started working at the Hospital that week. Now, had this been any other nurse, that would've been case closed, but unfortunately for Dr. Jones, this wasn't any other nurse: this nurse was the niece of one of the most powerful men on the planet (a man who, coincidentally, donated very large sums of money to the same Hospital where the nurse in question just happened to find a job). Not wanting to upset their benefactor, the Hospital administration laid the blame for the death entirely on Dr. Jones and completely hung him out to dry. He lost nearly everything he had in the following malpractice suit, and found himself blacklisted by every Hospital in the core planets. With nowhere else to turn, he packed up his most prized belongings, sold everything else, and bought himself a ticket to one of the few places he wasn't blacklisted, one of the only places he could hope to get a fresh start, and the only place he could actually afford a ticket to: Calico. When he arrived, he found that honest employment was more difficult to come by than he originally thought, and he was far too broke to afford to open his own clinic. Desperate and out of options, he signed up with the least bad bad guys he could find: the Redwing Band. He's been working with the Redwing Band for nearly a year now, and plans to continue working with them until he has enough money saved up to finally start his own clinic.
Additional Information: Doc became quite cynical and untrusting after being betrayed by those who he thought were his friends at the Hospital. Occasionally his once friendly demeanor resurfaces, but not real often.
