Now I think about it, I'm not sure if I can handle more than one song contest. But if I did I'd probably have non-Eurovision songs in WHF or SF and keep it Eurovision-y here.

It's just gone Eurovision season. Next WV well be using Katy perry and such

Well the thing is, Eurovision is almost like its own sacred genre of music so it would feel wrong to mix it up with non-Eurovision songs.

A fun little song contest held somewhere in "Europe" every year.

Basically the songs can be split into three main categories:
1. Joke entries featuring wacky hairdos and questionable English.
2. Depressing love ballads sung by peroxide haired women with huge cleavages.
3. Cheesy Eurodisco type music. Eastern Europeans are really into that stuff for some reason.

First off, I suspect you're debutant, hence, you cannot bid for WV32.
Secondly, having a separate link to your WV bid is frowned upon since most of us are lazy twats who cannot be bothered to click anything but spoilers. :P
Thirdly, it looks awful, with the repeated links of the fucking arena. If you think that your arena looks so good, don't spam it repeatedly.
Forthly, it looks like it is either the only building in your nation, or you're having it in the middle of a fucking desert.

I understand. It takes practice and effort to make a wonderful bid. I've been bidding since WV18 (did one as a debutant that was quickly tossed out), and not once did I win. I always hope for a victory for myself even if it doesn't come to be.

This time, I'm bidding as Nebesina.

Speaking of that, copying a bit almost word-for-word for the next WV contest doesn't tend to garner you many votes. A couple editions ago, I expected to get second behind Vampirum, and I got third. Second was Vampirum, and first was CQ, IIRC. Then after that, I copy and pasted that same bid for next edition and lost.

OK. Can you give me some tips privately (just TG my nation) on how to make a good bid, for the next contest? Also, how often are the contests?

There is the World Hit Festival and The Ns X-Factor but idk if you can host the x-factor, Idk much about either of them as I've never participated.

World Hit Festival!

I'm in charge of that. Forgot about it again. I guess I'll push back the deadline. The host CTEd tho so I'm not sure whether to just continue it or restart altogether

Basically, look at others for inspiration (I am posting it in public since I know others will want this advice). Also, the time between contests is generally a bit odd. Sometimes, we could go like several months between the start of a contest and the end of one, other times, we get it down in one and a half months.

Transfer all WHF participants to WorldVision. We can always use more contestants. :P

Well it sounds like WHF has died but don't worry *pause for effect* SongFest has been started by someone whose name I cannot spell (I think it's Britonnisea) for all your non-World/Eurovision needs.
