Check one out of the library. I don't like using software while cooking because cooking is inherently messy, and the screen will go dark if you don't keep touching it or moving the cursor. You also can't make notes easily on the recipes. But whatever, good luck. Cooking is tons of fun once you get into it.

actually it's software for my 3DS, so yeah. screen won't get dark or anything like that.

Not to make too much of deal of this, because it isn't, but it was "a spamwhore got punished, and rightly so" that caught my eye. The Rules to Pay Attention To thread says, "Gloating over punishments handed out to other players is not acceptable." And like I said, it's not an attractive trait.

No matter how metal a burning tank may look in the field.

Modern tanks also are constructed with fascinating composite materials that are all classified.

Human Skeletal Muscle Mitochondrial Uncoupling Is Associated With Cold Induced Adaptive Thermogenesis

Seems like it's about shivering and the resulting heat production.

Or rather, heat production in general. Shivering tends to be plan B.

Mitochondrial uncoupling is fairly simple. It "uncouples" the basic driving force of the mitochondria, the gradient in protons, that generate energy. The proteins that accomplish this allow the protons to flow back without producing energy, but some instead produce heat.

Overly simplified: if you pull out the fuel hose feeding into your engine, that engine will no longer be able to work, but the fuel itself has to go somewhere.
