My government... I think they're just scared of China due to economic relations..
We look so much alike that if our language was the same we might as-well form a new country all together, although you guys are British and we're Spanish, Indo is Dutch, Leste is Portuguese, etc.

I think what I said about martial law was quite premature. Let's see what happens first.

The big difference is that most of our Chinese population are inclined more towards business and trade rather than politics. Malaysia has a very vocal Chinese population especially after it focused primarily on the Muslim Malays more than the other cultures and religions.

Your language is still quite similar. I, at times have problems figuring out what language people are using from afar.
Some of your words are also similar, but I forgot which ones.
And we can call it Maphinileste. Lol.

Yeah, we also have a great amount of Chinese people interested in politics, remember they've been fleeing their troublesome Governments for the past 5,000 years.

Probably because the reason why they left China was because of the political situation. Most of the overseas Chinese are descendants of or are immigrants themselves. The main reason is either the dictatorial communist regime or, for those who are descendants of these immigrants, due to the tyranny of the monarchy.

On an unrelated note...there are also tonnes of Chinese people here that are more inclined to bussiness.

Not really. The bigger Chinese names here are those of rich tycoons rather than political leaders. But anyway, we can't really distinguish it now. I think half of Filipinos have at least a drop of Chinese blood in them.

Yeah, I get that, they are against the Government that they left behind so in a way they can help us against this whole dispute.

They are patriotic in a different way. They want their nation to be very different from what it is now. I think there are many loyalists to the monarchy living overseas. Otherwise, I think they would rather have the Chinese in Taiwan set-up a semi-democratic system rather than a one-party dictatorial system.

Most of the Filipinos who are good at Math are usually part-Chinese. Do you see their last names? Most of them are Chinese or Spanish-influenced Chinese names. (like Cojuanco, Lacson, Ongpin)
