The DAF's 14th Squadron, dispatched from the 3rd Battlefleet, swept over Carta Largan skies heading quickly towards the battlefront. These 16 Eurofighter Typhoons soon moved across to engage enemy ground forces.

After the declaration of war was cleared by the National Assembly against these countries, the Battlefleets orders were completely cleared for airstrikes against Ocidenian forces.

"Foxtrot 1 this is Foxtrot 5 we can enemy targets on our 4 O'Clock low."

The Captain looked down over the battle raging below, as Ocidenian tanks and allied forces were engaging each other. As flak batteries began to fire on the Demphorian aircraft, the decision was given to attack.

"Foxtrot 1 to Squadron we are engaging on forces in Sector 624, 4 O'clock low."
"Copy."

"Battlefleet to Squadron you are cleared to engage."
"Rodger that, attacking now."

The Demphorian fighters immediately began their first attack on the tank battalion bellow.

Off the coast of Carta Larga

The Demphorian fleet was given orders to immediately head towards the coastline of Carta Larga and Ocidenia to penetrate the blockade.

Carta Larga - Ocidenia border

As the battle between the Ocidenian and Valkmarian ground forces was intensively growing and becoming more deadly and destructive as the time passed by, the ground forces were immediately distracted by the freshly-conducted air strikes on their positions. At first it was suspected that the Valkmarian or even the Catalarguense army had deployed Air Forces to deliver more casualties to the Ocidenian army. However, the Ocidenian military quickly realized that another participant has intervened, although not yet determined from what country.

The newly-arrived invader Air Forces were quickly fired upon by a shower of shots from AA guns and SAM sights. In order to increase the cleansing of the skies, some missile systems were deployed to completely cover the sky in fire. Should these weapons not fully succeed in their mission, the Ocidenian army had it’s own Air Forces at disposal, as a back-up plan.

7:04 PM, 10 miles east of Cata Larga-Ocidenia border
As the amount of gunfire grew, Commander Blazha ordered "Keep on firing! Commander Frauman will be sending a large amount of reinforcements!", and in the blink of an eye, the reinforcements lead by Frauman arrived, and Fraumans large amount of infantry and artillery wasn't the only welcome surprise. Frauman had also called in attack drones, which fired on the Ocidenian forces.

7:08, off the coast of 2 miles east of the Cata Larga-Ocidenia border
Pleased at the rate of progress, Captain Estruøp said to Private Hans, "So Hans, do you know any more about the current situation". Private Hans responded "Things are going great. Especially with the extra naval troops coming in from the overseas territories, as well as help from the Demphorian Navy, and that our troops are almost ready to land of Ocidenian shores. However, there are still alot of Ocidenian naval ships, as well as a large amount of the Ocidenian coastal defenses remaining. Estruøp responded "Well, if that's the case, keep up the heavy firepower, and unleash the submarines." As a result, the troops are preparing to land, and some of the few ships remaining were destroyed, as well as the a few of the remaining far western coastal defenses.

[Leanore]

South-Eastern Ocidenia, 9:00 PM

The 10 Leanorian CIA agents finally made it to South East Ocidenia. They got off the plane like any other civilian would, and grabbed their bags from the baggage claim. The agents regrouped and began to walk to their 2 Black SUV's.

"Is everyone ready? Weapons are good?" The Intelligence Commander, Alexander Kruchov asked the other agents. The other agents grabbed their AK-47's out of the bags and checked the ammunition. They also grabbed the gas masks and put them on as well.

The 2 black SUV's didn't travel in a convoy. They both took random routes to a local government building. When they arrived at the building, they quickly got out of the SUV's and circled the building while one SUV gained speed and rammed the front door of the local government building.

When the sides of the building were clear, the agents threw flashbangs into the building. Anyone inside would be stunned by this, making their ears ring.

The agents stormed the building, restraining everyone that they came in contact with. "Black Angel 101 to all pro-Leanorian rebels, the building is under our control."

Leanorian Forces, South-East Ocidenia

Fighting continued as the Leanorian Forces pushed into South-East Ocidenia. All ground troops would be continuously supported by A-10 Warthogs and FA-18E Superbugs.

Armed Drones would continue to attack Ocidenian military positions and would aid the soldiers on the ground. 2 Dozen T-90S tanks would roll through towns, destroying Ocidenian armored vehicles and assisting the ground troops as they captured towns.

The Leanorian forces captured local government buildings and local police stations and set up military checkpoints along the roads. They checked everyone's ID and searched random vehicles.

Grigor Larena is willing to help Ocidenia militarily. Additionally, he implemented conscription to all males between 18 and 21 years old. Martial law has been declared in all Marlenia following the Iglesian intervention: curfew will be imposed between 21:00 and 06:00.

Grigor Larena: "It's well done that Simeon Brozhav of Ocidenia said Iglesians forced a unification! This showcases how much imperialists they are! We have to consider about our allies and help Ocidenia militarily!"

Gen. Jean-Pierre Maris: "Yes, sir! But shouldn't we do a big action against the Iglesian imperialists? Like, striking the Iglesian cities and crumble them to the ground, filling them with fire?"

Grigor Larena: "That's a very good idea, but for now we should wait until Marlenian forces are fully ready to conduct such an ambitious attack."

Gen. Marcel Canderre: "We need to attack Iglesian bases first." *looks at map and points to Iglesian bases in Marlenian waters* "There are twelve bases commanded by the armed forces of that country. If we attack them, that will weaken Iglesiantis' power and provides an easier attack on Larena."

Gen. Pierre Candeau: "Yes. My master, I think it's better. We have an Iglesian base stationed near Morline. We could begin the attack there, in Yves-les-Rives."

Grigor Larena: "So be it. Warn your soldiers and begin the attack!"

All generals: "Yes, sir!"

Iglesian military base of Yves-les-Rives, 70km southwest of Morline | 02:45



The Marlenians began their attack on the Iglesian military bases stationed in the shores of all Marlenia. Things will begin in Yves-les-Rives, a small coastal village resort located 70km southwest of the capital. Unlike the Iglesian base of Koranthis, the base destroyed by Xainithiakans right before unification took place, many Iglesian soldiers resisted and, despite the high death toll from both sides, Iglesiantis managed to keep the base as theirs. However, the Marlenian soldiers led the base into massive amounts of fire: the hangars of the base of Yves-les-Rives were entirely destroyed.

Grigor Larena knows the Iglesians are preparing an attack on Morline. He doesn't know when, it can be today, it can be tomorrow, in a month, but they definitely will. Now that the main centre of power lies in Morline, for both Cortazur and Xainithiakos, it will easily be the next target of the Iglesians. The Marlenian military bases have been fully mobilised to prepare themselves for such an attack.

Meanwhile, the Marlenian leader sent a letter to Ocidenia, to Simeon Brozhav, revealing their intentions to help the country led by Simeon Brozhav militarily, providing weaponry from Marlenia. Additionally, around 20 000 soldiers from Marlenia will fight for Simeon Brozhav's side in Ocidenia, against the Catalarguense, the Nevmayans and the Demphorians.

[Iglesian Archipelago]

Iglesian military base of Moulins-sur-la-Ouïs | 16th > 17th April, 2014 | 17:00 > 04:30

It has been given orders from the Moryon in Larena to the base of Moulins-sur-la-Ouïs, in former Cortazur's western coast, to conduct an attack on Morline and target the palaces of Grigor Larena, now the all-powerful man of Marlenia, the merger of Cortazur and Xainithiakos. The base shall be ready at all times, not only to attack Morline but also to protect themselves from an attack against their base by the Marlenian troops. Orders were made to attack the Marlenian capital by the early morning. The soldiers were doing military exercises throughout the evening and early morning so as to prepare themselves for the attack. In a few hours, the time will come for the attack to take place. Objective: overthrow of the regime of Grigor Larena.

Morline | 17th April, 2014 | 05:30 > 19:00

Morline. Capital of Marlenia. It's 05:30 in the morning. The city sleeps, but it is only seeing one thing coming out from the skies: 35 planes from the Iglesian Air Force with missiles ready to burst over the Marlenian capital. The first bomb was thrown into one of Grigor Larena's palaces, but he is not there. Like what happened with Spiros Thedeon during the invasion of Xainithiakos, Grigor Larena also fled the city to a Marlenian (former Cortazurian) base located 150km north of the capital. The city, meanwhile, prepares to see ruins over ruins over ruins. The strikes against Xiranos were quite strong to scare an entire country with the size of ex-Xainithiakos, but nothing compared to this. Buildings over buildings were being destroyed by the strikes in an attempt to find Grigor Larena in Morline. Meanwhile, the Marlenians defend their own city from the nearby base of Herbe-Verte, where missiles destroyed three Iglesian Air Force aircraft.



Well, 06:30 now, around half the Iglesian soldiers who were going in those 35 planes descend to ground and will intervene on land, where they will intervene against the Marlenian soldiers who are fighting inside the city. In this whole operation, occured between around 06:30 and midday, 15 Iglesian soldiers were killed by the Marlenian troops. However, nothing much is lost for them, as the Moryon sent orders to three other military bases to intervene in Morline as well. A further 1200 troops were sent to the capital as a result, coming from both airplanes and ships. As a result from the Iglesian Armed Forces' strikes, the entire city is now sieged by Iglesians. Morline responded with giving orders to three bases across Marlenia to intervene in Morline in their defence against the Iglesian invaders. Marlenia, now under attack, is awake. The Marlenian Armed Forces are defending the city from the Iglesian attackers and many people are participating in the battle, most of them with stones and knives but also some with pistols and rifles. These people killed 57 Iglesian soldiers throughout the afternoon with help and close defence from the Marlenian troops.

Cata Larga-Ocidenia border

The AA guns, SAM sights and missile systems continued painting the Ocidenian skies red. The freshly deployed Valkmarian drones came under attack as well. The ground forces, made up of soldiers and tanks continued engaging the invader ground forces, planning t completely crush the Valkmarian forces to dust and push out the remaining ones out of the country’s territory.

South-Eastern Ocidenia

In response to the Leanorian aggression in the south east, the Ocidenian Armed Forces began massive deployment to the east to engage the enemy, before they could expand their presence and influence further across the country’s territory. Leanore was suspected of having identical goals as Nevmaya – using the war as a pretext to annex some of Ocidenia’s territory. This was an option that the Ocidenian government was not willing to consider.

Ocidenian–Malerian Communication

In response to President Grigor Larena offering Marlenia’s militarily assistance to Ocidenia in holding off against foreign invasions, Prime Minister Simeon Brozhav considered responding the same way and offer Ocidenia’s military assistance to Marlenia, as the country required military power for stability no less than Ocidenia did. Since Prime Minister Brozhav has already officially confirmed that Ocidenia does not recognize the new state of Marlenia, viewing it as an Iglesian-enforced unification of two states, he still viewed Cortazur and Xainithiakos as two separate countries and still considered Grigor Larena a President of Cortazur only.

Because of this, Prime Minister Brozhav addressed President Larena to announce that Ocidenia is willing to assist his country in their own crisis and asked for permission for the Ocidenian army to legally enter the territory of the Kingdom of Cortazur without violating it’s sovereignty. Upon receiving this permission, forces would be deployed to reinforce Cortazur in their fighting against the Iglesian aggression.

"So, more nations have aligned themselves with the liberators, have they?", said the chancellor to the Minister of Defense, who was sitting in a wide table in the war room of the Congress Building, while pacing back and forth. Several other high-ranking officials were gathered, sitting quietly but attentively at the solid oak table.

"Yes, although some countries have openly joined the fray on the Ocidenian side as well, while satellite reports suggest that large forces are marching into Ocidenia quickly, at least, as of yesterday."

There was a silent pause.

"Sir, with all regards, the invaders are only trying to protect their people against the epidemic hordes of the Ocidenian dictatorship. Congress has voted, and the majority is for intervention against Ocidenia. But with the situation at such a boiling point, we will still need the chancellor's-your- permission first, sir."

There was silence in the room. No one moved. The Chancellor's gaunt old face was frozen, deep in thought.

"You are asking for military intervention then?"

"Congress is....but yes" Replied the Minister.

The Chancellor stopped for a second, then continued. "Mark my word: We are a freedom-loving republic. One not so different from the one Ocidenia claims to have, but not like the government they truly have. Thus, let us not be stopped at sending aide to the liberators: We shall send the CNAF to the fields, and forever protect our people and the people of Esquarium! Prove to me our newly-trained army was trained for one sole purpose, that our men are ready to fight! By all means, we shall not stand aside! Now go!"

"Yes, sir!" The minister walked away, looking triumphant. Heading for Military headquarters, he would begin to brief the generals on the objectives any attack. 1 Armoured and 3 Infantry Divisions, along with an air wing and a special naval task force were set aside to be used in any military action. It was decided that General Santiago Porfirio, an experienced armored corps commander would lead the assault. With the orders given out, the divisions assigned and all troops and ordnance ready, the units were placed on high alert, to be sent to Ocidenia following a response to the letter. If the Ocidenians did not respond, the next few days would most likely mark the Union's return to the battlefield after years of isolationism.

We, the most Holy union of Camilostates, hereby declare that, unless all hostile action is ceased by the 'government' of Ocidenia within twenty-four hours of this message, our two nations will officially be engulfed in a state of war.

Although we may have formerly recognized the new regime in Ocidenia in the hopes that a new democratic regime would form, this new regime, under the cover of 'liberty' and 'democracy', when all it truly does is oppress it's people, much worse than the earlier weaker but much more freedom-loving government that this administration has sought to replace.

While we do not totally approve of Nevayma's preemptive strike, it is obvious that this was merely a way to defend their own borders from the buildup of the hostile Ocidenian threat along the border, which itself was preempted by the civil unrest in the country. Ocidenia's citizens were happy until this government had to tighten it's already strong-enough grip on the people. And now, that happiness is dying, or is, for the most part, already dead in the grimness that is war, in the blood-stained fists of the ruling Ocidenian revolutionaries-turned-dictators and their fellow war criminals.

If these demands are not met within twenty-four hours, the Camilain National Armed Forces will have the full authority to use military force on any hostile belligerents and, by extension, to work in conjuction with any other forces pushing into Ocidenia and depose the current government.

Morline | Heroes' Square | 17th April, 2014 | 21:45

Grigor Larena was delivering a speech in front of hundreds of people in Heroes' Square, in central Morline, which was being broadcast by several news outlets: "No invader shall make this proud Nation, sculpted by God, fall into the ground! No attacker shall weaken the power of a country with its heart ready to defend its Fatherland! Why do our lives always have to depend on the Iglesian imperialists?! The people, who fought very hard to build this Nation brick-by-brick with the help of God, shall have no mercy upon these raiders from Larena! Together, we will destroy imperialism and follow our Destiny to this Fatherland, to this great Nation of ours! Who dares to destroy what is ours will be punished with death! The Iglesians will pay for this coward attack! And we shall have..."

Before Grigor Larena even ended his speech in front of hundreds of thousands at Heroes' Square in central Morline, he was shot by someone in one of the buildings of the square. Everybody is fleeing the square as this happened. Emergency services arrive in around five minutes after the incident occured. Grigor Larena arrives to the nearest hospital to receive medical care. He is alive, but will he resist the injuries left by the bullets?

Vice-Admiral Andrew Stephenson sat in the large chair in his office as he stared off towards the large antique map of the East Namor Sea that was framed on the wall.

"Sir," announced the Carrier Air Wing's command, Air Force Lieutenant-Colonel Marie Bouchard as she walked through the unlocked door, saluting the admiral.

"Yes, Colonel Bouchard?," he replied as he set his eyes on an old dictionary on his bookshelf.

"There seems to be some sort of naval force sailing east, a couple hundred kilometres north of where we are," she said as she began to clutch her briefcase's handle ever-tighter.

"Is it friendly?," asked the commander as he sighed, dreading the response.

"I don't think so, sir," she replied. "Catalarguense, Iglesian, Nevmayan and Namorese navies report no movement through the Sea of Comwald."

"I want eyes over it, visual ID," he finally proclaimed.

"Yes sir," replied the air force officer as she did an about turn and marched out of the office.

Soon after, around a dozen drones were launched from the deck of the carrier, heading north towards the area of the sighting, approximately half of them armed, all of the AD-5 model, while the rest were unarmed reconnaisance drones (AD-3). Onboard the large capital warship, the crew began to send out the alarm to Coalition navies and prepare fighter and support aircraft for takeoff.

Meanwhile, the two attack submarines escorting the fleet broke off, accelerating north in the case a rapid reaction would be necessary, but taking precautions to remain undetected [semi-OOC: which presumably should not be very hard, considering the enemy's poor anti-submarine capabilities].

It had only been a day since Lieutenant Jones and the rest of his fighter squadron arrived in Cata Larga, but there was no time to rest as an alarm rang out in the squadron's mess hall. Running to the aerodrome portion of the base and entering the large building housing the unit's hangars, they began to put on their flight suits as crews and air force auxiliaries scrambled to finish the scheduled AF-3 maintenance and prepare them for takeoff.

The chamber in which the crisis response meeting took place could be found deep within the headquarters of the Britannon Military, a building that stood out as a structure of beauty and representation of modern architecture. Its glass windows shined in the rays of the sun that poured down onto Candover, causing it to appear as anything other than a military building. There was no regular significant defence for the building, but in times of war, its underground bunkers were the safest in the capital centre.

Resting her weight on the circular table in the very centre of the room, President Fletcher stared at the screen built in to the table. The display showed a map of South East Esquarium with suspected troop positions and conflict locations. Regularly updating every few minutes, the screen showed the ongoing war that had formed following the Luziycan backed coup in Ocidenia. It was only as detailed as was possible however, as reports were often false and intelligence unreliable.

"The Ocidenians were well prepared for the invasion Madam President. They were quick to respond to threats from all sides. However, no amount of preparation could stop losses, and with Nevmayan, Demphorian and Valkmarian troops all bombarding the country, things could never start truly in their favour," the Chief of the Defence Staff, General George Roberts, said. "Despite this, they have still coped well considering the position they have been put in."

"Elsewhere, the newly formed country, Marlenia, is under attack by Iglesian forces. They have attacked cities in an attempt to take out military and political targets, but these attacks will have almost certainly resulted in civilian casualties. There is no sign of these attacks stopping until the nation's leader is killed, which could risk the lives of many more innocent people," General Roberts continued.

"As you can see from the map, Britannon naval forces are not too far away from the conflict, with one of our three carrier battle groups located near Comwald due to planned naval exercises nearby that the ships were travelling to. These have since been cancelled due to the ongoing crisis, meaning that this group is free for use if you give the order Madam President," the leader of the Britannon Navy, Admiral Thomas Ashton, said.

Elizabeth Fletcher looked around at the military officials and politicians that stood around the table. Her Vice President, Marcus Browning, along with the Prime Minister, Edward Field. Stood next to them was Sarah Asher, the Defence Minister, completing the list of Conservatives in the room. The rest were all high profile leaders of the military. There was the Chief of the Defence Staff, joined by the three commanders of each branch of the armed forces.

They were all people she got on with. Despite being in a different party to the other political figures around the screen, she had come to get on with over the past month. Marcus Browning had dropped out of the presidential elections in support of her as part of the coalition deal, and she was grateful for that. In just a few hours time, the presidential results would be released. Nobody cared. The winner was already decided.

"Ocidenia is currently being ran by a brutal regime that gained power through massacring democratically elected political leaders and replacing them with puppets of the Luziycan government. Fair elections won't happen with the current government, and unless we intervene, only more civilians will die. The carrier battle group will move south towards Ocidenia, and we will send aircraft from the north to attack Ocidenian military positions. We will not, however, target any cities or locations with significant civilian populations. We are not having innocent blood on our hands ladies and gentlemen," Elizabeth announced, looking up from the map to briefly glance at the reactions of members of the meeting. "However, we will condemn the Iglesian attacks on Marlenian cities and call for an end to preventable civilian casualties. Their attitude towards this conflict is unacceptable. Am I understood?"

Nods came from across the room, with many startled at the fact reaction of the President. Decisions this big usually took days of debate and speculation, but a response had been handed to them within a few seconds. As members of the meeting struggled to take onboard what they had heard, they divided up, ready to spread the news and issue orders. The carrier battle group would take days to reach the waters north of Ocidenia, but it was likely that the regime of Simeon Brozhav would understand the plans of Britanno long before the ships reached their destination and a declaration of war was issued.

[Valkmaria]

Cata Larga-Ocidenia border
Surprised by the fighting spirit of the Ocidenians, Commander Frauman and Commander Blazha order in more troops and plot another plan. Send in some troops to parachute behind enemy lines, and behind the AA guns. The leadership encouraged the troops to keep fighting. The Valkmarian troops also started to fire rockets upon the Ocidenian troops, and the AA guns.
But they knew that the plane carrying the parachute troops couldn't be delivered via the on land route. They divised another plan.

Western Ocidenian Coast
Frauman sent his request for a carrier plane to carry the troops, to Captain Estruøp. Estruøp sent a swarm of fighter jets and submarines to destroy the enemy naval force, and defenses, and at the same time, distract the Ocidenian forces. The plane got into the air, and flew above the clouds, so it could not be seen as easily.

Southern Ocidenia
Somewhere behind enemy lines...

Two Nevmayans had snuck past the fighting. In a war, it wasn't exactly hard to spirit just two people over a border. And thus, they had mixed in - they were members of the ÖHD - Special Warfare Department - and were tasked with contacting South Ocidenian separatists. One of them lit an Ocidenian cigarette and moved through the streets of a city close to the border, searching for the contact the people back in Nevmaya had set him up with. Eventually, he came to see one particular Ocidenian and sat at his table. No words were exchanged, but he passed two paper bills to the man. One of them was a plain one, the other had a note scribbled on it.

"Nevmayan liberation of South Ocidenia. We are able to provide aid."

He then ordered a usual platter of food, starting to eat. Midway, the Ocidenian got up and left.

Southern Ocidenia
Battlefield

"Fire!"

The 120mm gun cruised towards an Ocidenian light vehicle. Luckily for the Nevmayans, their aircraft had managed to avoid the anti-air fire, fleeing without any losses. From behind the mountains, another large salvo of rockets came down upon Ocidenian positions, this time aimed right where there were AA defences.

"Reload, reload!"

The tank shook, but the men inside barely flinched. It took a radio for them to learn what had happened.

"Bravo Three, you have been hit by a shell, repeat, you have been hit by a shell."

South-Eastern Ocidenia

The capture of towns, villages, and even small cities were successful, but many Leanorian soldiers were killed and Armored Personnel Carriers were destroyed in the process. Many commanders on the front line were urging for the Leanorian government to provide more fire power and men for the war. But finally, their prayers were answered. They were told that 35,000 Leanorian troops would be added to the war in South-Eastern Ocidenia

Fort Alecksander, Northern Leanore

Soldiers from the 104th Paratrooper Division, 109th Armored Calvary Division, and 94th Artillery Brigade began to embark on the C-17 Globemaster III's. The artillery equipment and T-90S tanks would be loaded into C-5 Galaxy's. The loaded aircraft took off and were escorted by FA-18E Superbug's until they left Leanorian airspace. ETA was 4 hours to South-East Ocidenia.

South-Eastern Ocidenia, 123rd Infantry Battalion

Leanorian troops assisted with deploying MQ-9 Reapers loaded with GBU-12's and Hellfire missiles. The MQ-9 Reapers would take off and would begin firing the Hellfire missiles at known Ocidenian military positions. They also dropped the GBU-12 bombs on large bridges to stop Ocidenian forces from advancing into captured Leanorian territory.

Cortazur-Ocidenia border

As President Gregor Larena gave permission to Ocidenia to deploy forces into the territory of Cortazur, the Commonwealth Armed Forces began assembling and preparing for their route into the neighboring country. Although at first these preparations were taking a longer time due to the army wanting to be really prepared and heavily armed before entering the war zone, the process had to be accelerated following the assassination attempt of President Larena in Morline, the capital city of an unrecognized state of Marlenia.

The government of Ocidenia was happy to learn that the President was able to survive the assassination attempt, but the act itself was condemned. Prime Minister Brozhav viewed this as an act of war against Cortazur and believed that the assassination was linked to Iglesiantis. After the Commonwealth Armed Forces had announced the completion of the preparation of their first army legions, they were ordered to immediately move into Cortazur and head for Morline to engage the invading Iglesian forces.

Cata Larga-Ocidenia border

As some of the AA guns began showing signs of damage, the Ocidenian ground troops quickly rushed towards defending them. This naturally resulted in even more firefights between the Ocidenian and Valkmarian forces. As the AA guns were being protected, they could resume firing at the skies and taking out any enemy aircraft that appeared in the Ocidenian airspace. The AA guns were joined by SAM sights and missile systems, which were also protected from enemy ground attacks by tanks, which surrounded them, forming a wall of defense. In addition to defending the missile systems, the tanks also joined the fight by firing at Valkmarian troops.

Meanwhile, in response to the Valkmarian rocket attacks, the Ocidenian army has set up target missile systems to deliver a similar series of shots on the Catalarguense soil like they did on the Nevmayan territory. The missile soon began firing one after another and fell on the Catalarguense soild and Valkmarian forces there like rain.

Western Ocidenian Coast

The presence of naval forces was greatly increased at the coast. The territorial waters of Ocidenia had warships and aircraft carriers on every inch of the waters. AA guns of the ships were pointed at the sky, ready to shoot down any enemy aircraft to appear. Radars were set up to detect the presence of any enemy naval forces or aircraft approaching the wide radius. Should any enemy forces get near, the Ocidenian forces had full authorization to attack in order to protect the country’s territory.

Battlefield, Southern Ocidenia

Similarly to their action in the west, the Ocidenian army planned to respond to the Nevmayan attacks in a similar manner as the army legions in the west did against the Valkmarian attacks. As the AA guns began taking damage, the ground forces had assembled around them to defend the guns from any possible ground attacks. However, it was not really possible for the ground forces to defend the guns from rocket or missile attacks, which meant that something else needed to be done.

Before even more forces had assembled around the AA guns, the Nevmayan rocket systems needed to be destroyed so that the rain of fire on the Ocidenian soil would stop and the risk to the Ocidenian troops and their military weaponry would be decreased. Thus, the army had set up the target missile systems to fire another series of missile on the targets in the Nevmayan territory to decrease the enemy progress. As the missiles were shot, a rain of them dropped on the Nevmayan soil, covering the struck territory in fire and explosions.

South-Eastern Ocidenia

As the Leanorian army began capturing the Ocidenian territory in the south east of the country, the Commonwealth army decided that they must quickly respond and eventually retake the occupied territory from the enemy. The forces in the south east were told to begin moving towards the occupied territories, but waiting for the reinforcements before officially engaging.

Knowing that the invader army’s presence in the south east was wide, the local army battalions had begun increasing their own defense to protect themselves from possible ambushes and strikes by the Leanorian army. All battalions stated close to each other, being surrounded by a shield of tanks and watched over by Air Force jets. More AA weaponry was set up to take down Leanorian aircraft should any be spotted in the Ocidenian airspace.

Meanwhile, the Ocidenian military bases, which had not yet been captured by enemy forces and were located not too far away from the borders, were requested to watch over the borders via radar system and see if any more enemy aircraft tries to enter the Ocidenian airspace. The army made sure that should any unidentified jet enter the airspace of Ocidenia, it would immediately be shot out of the sky by SAM sights. In addition to that, the air defense was increased with the deployment of Air Force jets to watch over the airspace above Ocidenia’s borders with neighboring countries. The jets had to be cautious at the borders with Nevmaya and Cata Larga, since the Commonwealth was presently at war with those two states. All the borders were shielded by Air Forces. The only borders that could not be accessed were the south eastern ones, since that part of the country was captured by the Leanorian army.

Border town, Southern Ocidenia

The border town, where the ÖHD agents were located, was a very turbulent place, plagued by massive civil unrest. Ever since the day that Southern Ocidenia announced secession, this particular town has had riots, protests, demonstrations and other social events taking place there. The city was entirely covered in banners, posters and images, denouncing the new government of Ocidenia and mourning the late former Prime Minister. All flag poles or any other places where the National Flag of Ocidenia had been previously displayed, now had the black and green southern secessionist flag flying. Although the city had already been in chaos since the day the new government took power, things got even worse, when the official war started.

Although the primary southern opposition was against the Brozhav regime, they had generally condemned Nevmaya, Cata Larga and multiple other countries for deciding to solve the Ocidenian Crisis by invading the country and starting a war, as they endangered entire Ocidenia as a nation and a country. The southern secessionists believed that this war will not bring anything good to Ocidenia, in fact the majority of them thought that this war will mean the end of the country, as the Commonwealth will most likely be completely destroyed.

Observing what the southern opposition in this particular town had been fighting for, it was clear that they did not really want to separate themselves from the rest of the country. Their actual pursuit and their dream was for true democracy, freedom and peace to return to Ocidenia with the country and the nation staying united in both territory and ideology. The secessionists did not want to see Ocidenia be broken into two different countries with the same nation, being divided into two rivaling groups of opposing ideologies, destroying Ocidenian unity forever. However, the secessionists also feared for their own freedom and believed that if the Brozhav regime is allowed to remain in power, the country would eventually develop into a violent dictatorship with Brozhav holding the entire Commonwealth in his oppressive fist and having the entire nation under his boot. The secessionists had also lost all hope in the rest of Ocidenia as it seemed to them that the rest of the country had accepted the new government very easily and even seemed to be happy about the successful revolution. Since the secessionists were afraid of living under Brozhav regime and had no power or support to overthrow him, they came to the only possible conclusion – possibly separate from Ocidenia to save their own future.

The protests in the streets showed that the secessionist opposition hoped for Brozhav regime to either step down or be removed for the sake of the entire country. According to them, Brozhav was now endangering Ocidenia not all because of the obviously oppressive regime that he will be pursuing during his reign, but also because his taking of power turned the country into a war zone, open for foreign invasions from all sides. It was most likely that the international community will not step down, until Brozhav regime is overthrown and that only meant that Ocidenia will be struck further, possibly even until there is nothing left of the country. The secessionists also had clearly shown that they are against the war transitioning into their own cities and towns and should such possibility occur, they will be forced to jump to self-defense.

Captured Leanorian Territory, South-Eastern Ocidenia

The FA-18E Superbug's, after being refueled by KC-103's, formed an arrow formation in front of the C-17's and C-5's. Ahead of them would be the EA-6B Prowlers, electronic warfare aircraft. The Prowlers Electronic Countermeasure Officers communicated with each other and began to disable Ocidenian radars. They weren't sure if it would work, but they had to rely on it to bring the C-17's and C-5's inside the captured Leanorian airspace.

The FA-18E's began to manuever appropriately to counter attack the AA weapons firing at them. Of course some aircraft were lost, but they had to destroy the AA weapons at all costs. Some FA-18E's dropped GBU-12 bombs on the AA positions, and some performed gun runs on them, but they believed they bought time to allow Leanorian soldiers to enter the captured airspace and parajump out.

Inside some of the C-17's were armored personnel carriers and T-90S tanks. The APC's were dropped out, hoping that the parachutes would fill with air and would allow them to safely hit the ground.

After the Leanorian soldiers landed, they regrouped with the APC's that were dropped out and mounted them.

[Valkmaria]

Off the coast of Western Ocidenia
Captain Estruøp ordered a flood of submarines to attack the Ocidenian ships from underneath, and the submarines began to fire torpedoes at the ships, like a hailstorm coming from beneath. Valkmarian ships were ordered to do extreme firing upon the Ocidenian ships like a meteor shower.

Cata Larga-Ocidenia border
In response to the increased rocket-fire, target missile systems got brought about to destroy the enemy missile-fire. More Valkmarian tanks got brought out, to combat the increased Ocidenian firepower. Valkmarian troops also managed to cut back some brush between the Valkmarians and Ocidenians, and brought about flamethrowers to burn the enemy Ocidenian brush, and burn out the Ocidenians.

[Dubrovka]

In the Ocidenian Capital
In the past week the situation has heated up tremendously. With now more than 5 nations in Ocidenia trying to take control, the troops of the 194th Infantry Regiment, originally there on a peacekeeping operation, are ordered by the government of Dubrovka to assist their allies. Since the conflict started, these soldiers have been outfitting multiple trucks, which look like food distribution trucks, with 45mm Anti Aircraft Guns. They have also started to build a strong defensive perimeter around the capital of Ocidenia. Currently, the Dubrovken Soldiers of the 194th only number 2,500, but they were prepared to make a stand. The commander also received word that they were to receive reinforcements from the 11th AIrborne by the 22nd of April. They were also made aware that, 25 MRF-2s from the 34th Dubrovken Strike Wing would be online for close air support dutys by the 22nd of April. If one thing was known, they would not let their Ocidenian Allys fall without a fight...

Capital of Ocidenia
Pfc. Polanski brushed the sweat off his head and exhaled loudly. Him along with his other 9 squad mates were part of the 194th Infantry Regiment, fortifying the perimeter of the capital. It was only 0600 in the morning, but they had been up since 0430 building the defenses. His Battalion was deployed to the Northern Flank of the city, the place the Dubrovken commanders expected the main attack to come from. The men of the 194th would make sure the Ocidenian capital would not fall. Pfc. Polanski's squad mates were all interesting characters. There was Sgt. Maxwell Bines, his squad leader, Cpl. Gregory Rostropovich, his team leader, Pfc. Yuri Yurionovich, the Automatic Rifleman, Pfc. Marcus Lass, the squad medic, and lastly was Pfc. Eachon Marcovich, the Designated Marksman. Polanski didn't know the rest of the squad very well. They were doing many jobs; Shoveling Dirt to make trenches and fill sandbags, welding pieces of steel to make tank barriers, laying barbed wire in front of the trenches, among many other things. Polanski was relieved when, at 0630, the bell rang, signalling breakfast was ready. You could see the excitement from the troops as they threw down their shovels and walked towards the mess hall. That is when the explosions started. A unknown faction was shelling the outside of the capital, knowingly shelling Dubrovken Soldiers. All of the soldiers jumped onto the ground and covered their heads with whatever they had. Some tried to run back to their barracks, some jumped into the trenches they had been digging a few minutes ago. It was chaos for a few minutes, but, as fast as the shelling began, it stopped. This would be a eventful few days...

Attack on Convoy
The Red Cross of Legendardisch recently installed a base on a abandoned airstrip, it was the central hub for help, surrounded by several towns.
A small convoy was on its way to the airfield, escorting 2 buses of citizens and several transport vehicles.
They were escorted by several M1 Abrahams.

A loud noise from the east was heard, at first it sounded like a C-5 Galaxy, but it wasn't
3 Unknown fighter jets of an unknown type were flying low, and in a wink, everything was covered in dust.

Ears were ringing, and my body felt tangled.
I felt dirty, scared and i didn't know where i was, well i did know.

When i opened my eyes everything smelled like oil and flesh, my eyes were burning,
i had my camera in front of me, who was filming the entire convoy on its way to the airstrip.

i looked around, and my colleague was lying there, unresponsive.
Her legs flown 20 meters further, and she was lying in a puddle of blood.

The jets were still flying above me, probably attacking the airstrip, or scouting for survivors.

The dust was slowly settling down, and i saw a horrifying scene, body's were lying everywhere, and vehicles were burning.

10 Kilometer away from me i saw a body of a child, probably a 6 years old. i saw soldiers on the ground, some still shooting in the air.
some tanks were shooting, but most of them were non functional.

I heard a loud explosion, as one jet was flying low, and shot by a shell from one of the tanks.
with full speed it drilled itself in the ground, followed by a path of destruction.
and once again i fell asleep.


Hours later i woke up in a ship.
The H.E Bijker.

I was transported to a hospital ship with several others, and i was one of the more lucky ones.

The nurse told me a small group of helicopters escaped the scene safely, i was happy, but not happy because i survived, but those people who escaped survived.
To me, i would be better of death, as i no longer can take my mind off this experience, a traumatic experience.

Convoy gets attacked, Tweede Kamer, Eerste Kamer and Cabinet meet in secrecy.
Arnhem - A convoy was attacked in Ocidenia, where Legendardisch is executing its Humanitarian Aid Mission.

A survivor, Gerard Van Hoofstaf, captured the attack with his camera, who was making a reportage for Legendardisch Today.

Several Ocidenian citizens died, as well as soldiers.

The Tweede Kamer, Eerste Kamer and Cabinet are meeting each other in secrecy, possibly talking about a possible Declaration of War.

Portbea, capital of Snowiny: 11:00 AM, 19th April 2014

It has been a quiet, regular day, however, dark times were yet to come. Shortly after 11:00 AM, people rounded up around the government building and protested against the government. However, Snowiny did not want to do what the people wanted. The people wanted to overthrow the current communist government in the country, and replace it with a capitalist one. Below is a picture of Portbea currently:



Marshal Vejvislav Shkakin of the People's Republic of Snowiny heavily disagreed with the bringing of capitalism to the country. The citizens disagreed with Vejvislav's decision and decided to get armed and try to destabilize the government of Snowiny and introduce their own, renowned capitalist government, and restore "The Republic of Snowiny".

As soon as angered Portbean citizens got armed and started running towards the government of Snowiny, shooting everywhere, throwing Molotov cocktails everywhere, angered Vejvislav released Snowinian soldiers to hunt down protesters and arrest them in prison for 20 years.

Easter came and the civil unrest was still going on. Vejvislav killed and imprisoned protesting Snowinians, and also destroyed protester homes. However, meanwhile in the northwesternmost part of the country called "Vazilia", large-scale seperatist movements appeared in the capital city of Magikstik. In Magikstik, seperatists threw molotov cocktails, shooted each other and were really, really wild, themselves not knowing what they are even doing. Vejvislav released more armed troops, tanks and airplanes to go to Magikstik. On 23rd April, Vazilia declared independence and made a "Vazilian Republic", which was not recognized by Vejvislav's regime.

On 24th April, the unrest was officially considered a part of the War in Eastern Esquarium after eventually turning into a large scale war.
