Bolkania was informed that Rototornik has accepted the offer to have a shared military base, and that the position near Japan is satisfactory. Two flotillas with necessary equipment and men, and their escorts will be redirected from the operations in Hawaii to participate and secure the construction site.

Today, Vasilinople contacted the Hetalian Empire informing the nation that it surrenders under the conditions that the genocide of its people will end. Camps will be built in former Beiastani Lands, these camps will provide living quarters for the Vasilinoplians. However, since 1 Billion Vasilinoplians cannot live in such a small territory the "Camps" in reality will be more or less ghettos. Thousands took to the streets hoping for the Junta to hear their cries.

Sofiagrad, Bolkania - After the recent military operation ousting Vesselinov from power, who still after two weeks is under house arrest, thousands descend on the streets of the capital of Bolkania calling for hostilities to be declared against Albul. They shouted slogans like "Better dead then Red" and "Down with the evil Albulites", while some even burned the national flag of Albul. This comes after many former Communist somehow affiliated to the former Bolkanian Soviet Socialist Republic, which only ceased to exist 17 years before, have fled to nearby Kelxo and Slovsko claiming political asylum.

Coupled with a huge and vast expansion beyond the Urals by the army, including the capturing of the oil-rich region in the North of the Kazakh plains, adding to the already vast amount of oil near the borders of Hetalia in the Ossarian oblast.

We approached the large crowd and interviewed a few people, asking them why they wanted to spill Albulite blood. "They are our eternal enemies and too they act like they are superior to us. They are no match to our sons, brothers, and fathers in the over 250 million strong army!". We left after interviewing this man as the crowd was dispersed by Bolkania Militsiya.

Sofiagrad, Bolkania - A Coup carried about by a group of high ranking officers ousting Vesselinov centrist government has taken place this evening. By 1800 hours, Bolkanian Armed Force were already ringing at the public buildings for the Defence, Internal and Foreign ministries. The Coup leader, battle hardened Bolgurian-era Radko Delchev, a respected figure in the Bolkanian military stated "Bolkania needs a much stronger leadership capable of dealing without eternal enemies like Albul. Vesselinov, despite my respect for him, could not ever give the Bolkanian people this!". The Duma has been disbanded and Vesselinov along with his wife been placed under house arrest, and Bolkanian borders closed following the Coup.

We went to ask people on the streets of the 1000 year old Sofiagrad what they thought about the recent radical events; "It's about time our sons in the military reorganised the country. We know our enemies will amuse against us in the courtyards of international diplomacy, by no one can crush the might Bolkanian People's Republic!" We asked another woman, who's son is a conscript what she thought "It's a little frightening to think only a few hours ago we had neutral Vesselinov in charge and now we have Delchev. However, I've heard what he had to say and I'm impressed. It is our lands and no one should interfere with us unless they want a fight."

No deaths have been reported yet, and the streets are quite with no sign of gun fire of any sorts. Time will tell what the international community will say on this, but when I asked Delchev at a press conference what he thought they would say; "They will squint at the thought Bolkania is not slaves to the Albulites, they will shiver in their shoes that Bolkania is not to be engulfed by Communist tentacles of the Socialists. We stand strong and we will march forward against them and the people who stand United against Velka Bolkania!

Will Albul Be the Next Bolkania?

APRIL 16, 2014, CORNUCOPIA, F.D. [22:17 AST]: It is well known in the news that Bolkania has suffered a militaristic coup, which has yet to recieve any commentary from the Albul Council. As fortune may have it, the coup's leaders hold fascist ideals and have called for war against Albul. While we, as citizens of Albul, hold our ideals of truth, freedom, and equality, the fascists in Bolkania hold nothing but morally bankrupt ideals, such as corruption, oppression, and profits. We, as citizens of Albul, must view the Bolkanian coup with caution, as our adversary may be cunning enough to finance the fascist rebels of Albul. While we wait for Akrotese aid in the war effort, we must also push away the fascist rebels from Albul. Will Theodoros Kataktitís rise as a "rebel" fascist leader or will we send him to the prison, where he belongs?

Allow me, for a moment, to predict a future with a fascist Akrotese leader, perhaps funded by Bolkanians. Imagine, for example, all your civil liberties being stripped away from one day to another, without any notice. You may, perhaps, be sent to a labor camp for something as simple as speaking English or for speaking Latin, anything but Akrotese. Kataktitís may be born in Albul, but he is no Albulite. Should he conquer Albul, we would suffer a fate worse than death. Multiculturalism is the key tenet of Albuli society. Where would we be if it were not for the European languages, the Indigenous cuisine, the West African labor, and Asian trade? The culture spans generations, as we hold heavy influences from the Ancient Romans and the Ancient Greeks as well as modern sciences and ideologies. Regardless, we are a multicultural nation, open to trade with any amicable nation. I fear that Kataktitís would pervert this wonderful nation into a ruthless dictatorship for the sake of expanding fascism. Should this war continue, we should no longer be the Industrial Worker's State of Albul, but rather, the Kataktitían State of Bolkrotira.

Thus, I plead to the Albul Council that we may establish adequate relations with Bolkania, to prevent them from financing the fascists. I understand that we cannot establish a friendly relation with them, due to their current Anti-Albuli nature, but if they do not wish for us to finance their next rebellion, then we should hope that they do not do the same to us. Please sign my petition for a better Albul!

BREAKING NEWS: TOWNS SEIZED ON THE BOLKANIAN BORDERS


Reports indicated that 5 towns and neighbouring villages has been seized by masked people in military outfits. The armed people have taken over all public buildings a de facto cutting of the region from the rest of Slovsko. The Slovskan tv stations, radios and internet have all been cut off. The civilians however are not going into the streets fearing their own lives, accourding to sources.

In a quick movement the president and PM in a joint call, called for a quick meeting of the defense council.

President Brnko was quoted saying after the meeting:

We have been attacked by a force we all knew it would attack us in the first place. We might be less capable on a military scale, but we shall fight , and they shall pay for their agression

Some speculators are indicating a blokanian military intervention to scare off the government in Slovansk, who as the only neighbouring country to react negatively on the coup d'etat carried 2 weeks earlier.

In a quite interesting twist, President of the Federation of Slovsko has called Bolkanian's junta a "power hungry generals with imperialistic ambitions" and has asked help from Albul.

We Have officially asked for Albuli help in this matter. We have proof that Bolkanian's junta is behind these recent events, and we will not stay quite on this matter.

Slovsko, an old ally of Bolkania, took a firm stance against the coup d'etat in Bolkania, but this move is sure to surprise even the most pessimistic people of the conflict.

Brnko also confirmed that military units are heading into the indicated region to "swipe away" the "enemy". An huge operation is expected, and an Albuli fingerprints will definitely be alongside those Slovskan ones.

Akrotirum asks the hetalians to allow the vassilinople people to return to their own lands and not live in the ghettos, if there can be no agreement then we will take in the Vassilinople people until they can once again rule themselves. we hope you accept our offer as at would greatly benefit us all, we will take some of the vassalinople people so you dont have to, however to ensure fair treatment we ask for the island of Cyprus as a Base to manage our operations in the area this will hardly affect you so we hope you consider this.
