And why GCR's complain is completely illogical. Rather than have a robust region, recognized around the world, they alienate themselves, through their endless suppression. What I think it is, is Administrative laziness. The Administrators don't want to deal with a complaint every now and then so they enact some rule change to combat it... Each time systematically destroying the game.
Influence - Destroyed the RD game for months thereafter.
Embassies - Destroyed real meaningful foreign relations.
Telegram Stamps - made it much harder for those without money to recruit and compete.
Post Suppression - devalues regional history and the freedom of speech.
All because the Administrators of the game didn't feel like dealing with a complaint every now and again.
The free-form, anything goes game of NationStates has been reduced to something akin to a low-budget Facebook game. Remember the days when Administrators were about keeping the status quo, enforcing the rules for everyone, rather than bending the rules to benefit a particular group? ... probably not, most have quit since then.
