I see everyone in here always talking about specs this, specs that, but nobody ever talks about their speaker systems...

For a while I had something like a $10 pair of speakers, and oh my god the quality was horrid. My music literally had no bass.

But one year I got new speakers with a subwoofer, and I instantly fell in love because everything had bass and depth, even if my speakers are still not that high quality, or surround sound for that matter which is what I would love to have eventually.

Logitech seems to make pretty good quality stuff of all types, practically.

I use headphones since I have to share a room with my brother, but I guess the same principle applies. All the headphones I've used for gaming have had OK sound quality, but I'd like to get a good headset with a mic. I have a pair of professional monitoring headphones I use with Pro Tools, and they sound great, but I'd never consider using them for gaming.

I won't deny that this is a very, very, very niche card at this time, is of very questionable value in and of itself, and is probably going to be overshadowed by the next generation cards of both manufacturers. Protip: This is the mantra of the Titan series. There is a reason I don't have any interest in any of the Titans.

Considering there is one (low-end) maxwell card and, from what I have read, it's not terrible for overclocking, I find this claim a little premature. Not that it really needs to be overclocked, it's already provides high performance/cost and performance/watt compared to its competitors.

Except for Radeon's Xfire tech apparently has appalling issues with runt frames. Though maybe they fixed that with the 290X (iirc I read that was one of the big changes that came with this card)

Dual GPUs (at least on Nvidia's side) tend to be more efficient and produce less heat than their SLI equivalent (see GTX 690 vs SLI GTX 680s). I imagine the same is true with Radeon's dual GPU systems. If I found myself wanting to do things that required the grunt of two GPUs, I'd go with a dual-GPU card than some wonky SLI/Xfire system.

So to reiterate, no Nvidia card OCs as well as Radeons.
