And here we go, the league has kicked off. There were a few pretty good matches here and there, and the show has just begun! We saw Tifón win against the Tears thanks to a stroke of genius from their captain Pablo Fuego when the first half was close to the end. Meanwhile, the Loyals lost a game they had won on paper, as they were beaten by Sent 01, mainly because of their Vanorian player's skills. A great match for him without a doubt. Also worth noting that Árbol Saucedo scored his first goal for the Loyals. However, many will agree the most interesting match was Mâ Âlâmëómë against Avenida Principal. Many had high hopes for the match; everybody believed it would be a high-scoring affair. In the end, Kris Campbell's (who?) unexpected hat trick in his very debút for the team won the Rulandese the match. He scored all three thanks to three superb assists from Einarsson (two of them) and Zubiri (the other). Avenida Victoria defeated Madorre De Fuego rather comfortably, not much to talk about there. Libertarian Ferdullaele also won, and can owe their win to some very good show they put up during the first half. The second half was all Dí Maozöxê's, though, and it's arguable whether Libertarian Ferdullaele deserved to win, tie, or even lose. La Nueva Avenida's aspirations for the never-before-seen third title in a row have been slightly damaged, victim to the Wanderers' not-defensive-but-very-defensive-by-Farf-standards philosophy. They still scored two, but conceded as much. Ferdullaele beat Green Ruland after being one-nil below them after the first half. Fryi Frêndê beat Flying Jellyfish thanks to an early goal by Kaé Arquéan. Foraé and Friguista Farfa tied in a rather boring affair that ended up being nerve-wracking thanks to two somewhat late goals and loads of attacks and counterattacks.

Not many unexpected things happened this matchday, but it did show some very nice attacking football, as always. The defenses were dreadful, as always, too. Not a league for the future managers to watch, surely. Anyway, Tifón and Firguista Farfa tied one-all, the Butterflies had opened halfway through the second half, but Delacrúz had other plans in mind as he scored the equalizer from a header very close to the end of the match. Meanwhile, Fryi Frêndê dominated Foraé from beginning to end, but did not managed to make that show in the scoreline. A win's a win, though. Flying Jellyfish managed to score four to comfortably oust Geyinstanles United. Meanwhile, at Ruland, Flamagua's players may have suffered a bit after equalizing as the match was about to end at Green Ruland's stadium. Those Rulandese and their guns... La Nueva Avenida comfortably beat Ferdullaele. Two early goals promised an enjoyable match, but until the end we'd have a surprisingly dull match. In the end, Café scored a header to give the Novans the lead once again and Paggartundua finished the affair with a stunning long-range effort when there was just one minute of injury time left. Also, the Wanderers managed to score four against Libertarian Ferdullaele, which should start some alarms at the capital's only libertarian team. Dí Maozöxê once again dominated their opposition, but they let go an apparently easy win close to the end when Elixaeberna equalized for Madorre. Still, if the Rulandese team that is not named Mâ Âlâmëómë can keep these performances up, they could be surprising more than one person this season. And talking about Rulandese teams, the one that is named Ruland was beaten by Avenida Victoria. Not much to say here, except that the win was deserved. Sent 01 was close to pulling off an upset against Avenida Principal... for three minutes. Their late goal was countered by Kemp's late equalizer. One could say them tying the Knights is in itself an upset, however. Also, Avenida Leal lost again, now thanks to two goals by Jarvís, a Guayabalian you may not have heard of.

This was a very exciting matchday, many high-scoring games even by Farf standards and so on. Avenida Leal finally managed to win a game, and it may well be thanks to Ostadar Arambilet, who seems to have received the wake-up call, and he answered it perfectly. Two goals from a centre midfielder are nothing to scoff at. However, concerns should be raised over the Loyals' performances, despite the win. One could say Tifón played just as well as them, and it came down to luck. Avenida Leal has way better players, and there's where the fans should be raising concerns. Anyway, the Knights comfortably ousted the Tears three-one, and probably deserved to thrash them. Meanwhile, with one stunning performance by Krysia Bailey as centre back, Avenida Victoria managed to comfortably win against Sent 01 two-nil, thanks to two goals by their star striker, Vasilije Østergård. Dí Maozöxê and Mâ Âlâmëómë faced each other in the Rulandese derby, and oh was it good. The entire game seemed to revolve around Dí Maozöxê dominating, getting to score, and Mâ Âlâmëómë swiftly retaliating. Fletcher scored? Alessandri scored less than ten minutes later. Fletcher again? Campbell two minutes later. Tôr scores? Alessandri scores again, now close to the end. An exciting match that sadly ended in a tie, but neither team will be too sad about the result. It really could've gone either way. A great first half awarded Madorre De Fuego three points that will help them avoid the red zone, but they're likely to avoid it without them anyway. The Ferdullaele derby was, as it always has been, one of the highest-scoring affairs of the matchday. It really looked like the game would end up like ten-nine or something silly like that, but the two teams seemed to have their gunpowder dampened after the first hour. Still, nobody will argue the real deal ended up being Flamagua against La Nueva Avenida. I don't think I can properly describe it. Just look at the handy data above. It speaks by itself. Flying Jellyfish versus Green Ruland may have had four goals less, but it was also pretty exciting. However, the other two games were hardly even close. Also worth noting that Halegión scored a goal in the first minute of the game against Fryi Frêndê.

Tifón was utterly destroyed. Utterly. Fryi Frêndê had absolutely no mercy as they scored six and conceded only one. Tifón managed to score a second goal in the very last second, but I doubt anyone, anywhere, celebrated it. It was even painful. Geyinstanles United beat Friguista Farfa by the minimum difference, getting some important points to once again avoid the red zone. Green Ruland and Foraé played to a tie during one of the three Rulandese derbies. Nothing worth noting except that the match was pretty entertaining. Flying Jellyfish stunned La Nueva Avenida by defeating them at their home. They went to half time two-one up, and then shortly after the second half started scored again, with Mørátüabáterían being the one to sort of seal their fate for the match. He's been nicknamed the unpronounceable... junior. Let's remember his manager mysteriously has the same weird surname. Let's also remember there were rumours about him being the manager's bastard son before he joined Flying Jellyfish. Anyway, enough of coincidences. Because the Liberdullaelans beating Flamagua certainly wasn't one. Flamagua certainly miss José Torino Fuego. It shows. In other news, Madorre De Fuego fought hard for a deserved win against Ferdullaele, and more than one of their fans must've had a really bad time throughout the match. Just look at the time of the goals. Meanwhile, Mâ Âlâmëómë almost fucked up against Feardallis' Wanderers, but Einarsson was there to save them in a rather unorthodox way coming from him: poaching. All goals count one, however, and the tie was more than welcomed by the fans, seeing as the team failed to act as a cohesive unit and didn't really deserve it. Also, Dí Maozöxê has once again fucked up after some very strong performance early on the match. Someone please tell these guys to get over their trauma. The Tears beat the Victorians, which was unheralded, but certainly deserved it. For those who do not necessarily have to watch teams score loads of goals to be entertained, the match between Avenida Leal and Avenida Principal was fantastic. Both teams fought fiercely every single fifty-fifty ball, and got some good chances. In the end, Avenida Principal managed to win thanks to a lucky rebound caught by Tobías Cervántez, and after that, when Avenida Leal had just hit the post thanks to a long-range effort by Arambilet, scored after a perfectly-executed counterattack, with Kemp chipping the ball over Cristóbal. It was at night, which added a lot to the atmosphere.

Avenida Principal managed to get an unexpectedly hard win against Tifón, who had played terribly before going into the pitch. Like, conceding six goals against Fryi Frêndê. Still, a brace by Horn was the only thing Avenida Principal could really rescue from the players' performance. Abuda was uncharacteristically unheard of this particular match. In other news, Avenida Leal has finally managed to play well, comfortably beating Avenida Victoria. Cazza may have scored both goals, but Wallenberg and Arambilet are the ones to be commended for them. Let's remember both of them left Cazza all alone with the entire goal at his will... In other news, Dí Maozöxê has once again failed to get the three points despite playing really well in the beginning. Many Dí Maozöxê fans are blaming Spencer Fox for all this. They're all claiming the guy's not even giving it his twenty percent, and it's really been maddening for them to watch him miss three chances that were easier to score than to miss. Football fans' memories is incredibly short, as this very same player was the star of the team last time around. Feardallis' Wanderers thrashed Sent 01. Boring. Also, Mâ Âlâmëómë narrowly ousted Ferdullaele, thanks to a late goal by Kühâx, as well as Aurora's skill to deliver the perfect ball for him. In the fuego derby (just because both teams have something to do with fire in their names, it's not necessarily a derby, I know, but fuck you, I'll start a forced derby if I damned well please) there was a tie. Nothing else of note to report. Also, Flying Jellyfish ousted the Liberdullaelans at home, as expected. La Nueva Avenida was stunned by Foraé (or, actually, Fârave Grékô) and narrowly managed to get a point thanks to a lucky goal by Café. Green Ruland beat Friguista Farfa away from home, which is not good news at all for the Butterflies. Finally, Fryi Frêndê reacted too late to get even a point from Geyinstanles United, who dominated them for a considerable part of the match.

Tifón got a very important win against Geyinstanles United in the very last minute, and it must taste very good for them. Sandro Frutos scored the last minute goal as the ball accidentally bounced off his head. He was a bit lucky. Green Ruland beat Fryi Frêndê in a high-scoring affair, with the winning goal also coming close to the end of the game. However, what stunned people the most just has to be La Nueva Avenida's loss. Josh Di Giovanni stole a point from them in the very last second, and gave his team some valuable three points that could easily be the difference between them and the other teams fighting for survival who happen to not be able to beat La Nueva Avenida for reasons beyond obvious. Meanwhile, something similar happened to Libertarian Ferdullaele, as Foraé's Tzukân Fîrá equalized in the very last second of injury time. Flying Jellyfish utterly destroyed Madorre De Fuego. They scored two very early goals and it was all downhill from there for Madorre. Mâ Âlâmëómë comfortably dispatched Flamagua with an unsurprising thrashing. Ferdullaele got somewhat nostalgic and thrashed Sent 01 once again. The Tears and the Wanderers tied in a somewhat boring game, with the only remarkable thing being the Wanderers stealing the win from the Tears three minutes from the end of regular time. After that, Dí Maozöxê was finally outplayed by a team, and as a consequence was thrashed. The Rulandese team could even be atop the table if they hadn't wasted so many opportunities. Funny thing is, contrary to all the other matches, Dí Maozöxê was now carried by Spencer Fox, with him scoring the early goal and doing just about everything. Things change quickly. The fans' memories are terrible, as he's being praised once again, with all his teammates getting shit. Ah well, football in the island. Also, Avenida Principal defeated Avenida Victoria, having at one moment held a four-goal lead, they started playing terribly and conceded thrice, yet they still won. That might actually be kind of sad. Many people were probably cheering for Avenida Victoria to at least equalize after the third goal.

A match that could've gone either way ended up being a thrashing following three unfortunate red card for Tifón. Ah well, they shouldn't have been so aggressive. Meanwhile, Dí Maozöxê have fucked up a big win again, but it's admittedly better than being thrashed. Spencer Fox and all the others now played at their full capacity. They just need the luck and the lack of cowardice now. Also, the Wanderers outsmarted the Loyals in tactics and managed to get an unexpected win. Ferdullaele beat the Tears thanks to a bit of luck and... well, also thanks to the referee. Ferdullaele has still got a few things left from when they were the one and only team. Also, Flamagua managed to get a vital win against fellow relegation-threatened team Sent 01 with a last minute winner scored by Carlos Abrigo with a very controversial positioning when Rincón passed the ball to him. The goal stands though, and it could've been perfectly valid anyway. No reason to cry over it now. Unless you're a fan of the Dragons. In that case, that must suck. And your team too. Flying Jellyfish managed to comfortably beat Mâ Âlâmëómë, which is no easy feat. Madorre De Fuego won their game with a late winner by Archie Marshall, a free kick that the goalkeeper actually should've stopped. Meanwhile, Friguista Farfa also scored a rather late goal... only difference is they actually lost, with the youngster Taggliafico scoring two in two minutes. Finally, Ohmadarlin Clementie scored two for Geyinstanles United to give them a much-appreciated win. He still has a terrible name though.

Tifón got a late equalizer against Green Ruland. They tied. La Nueva Avenida scored three early goals against Geyinstanles United and slept through the match, still winning four-two. Café's brace is one everybody should notice: it's not often that centre midfielders get to score unless they fill a role which includes shooting from afar or entering the box for crosses or the like. The Liberdullaelans and the Lions tied in a rather boring match that saw both sides score only once. Madorre De Fuego and Friguista Farfa played in a high-scoring match... or, rather, a high-scoring first half. Those who had to leave before the second half could start missed absolutely nothing. Mâ Âlâmëómë and Foraé faced each other. Oh, and both teams scored three goals in succession. First Mâ Âlâmëómë with Coss and then Kühâx (twice), then in the second half Foraé, getting an unexpected point thanks to a moment of brilliance coming from Tzukân Fîrá, assisting twice and scoring once. Flying Jellyfish and Sent 01 tied in a game similar to Madorre De Fuego against Friguista Farfa, with the only difference being that this match had one goal less. Avenida Decepción and Flamagua looks like it was a pretty exciting match, but I'll be honest: I didn't watch it. Also, Somuele Cazza and Frederik Wallenberg saved Avenida Leal's posterior as both created a goal out of thin air without any space given by the Ferdullaelan defense... with just one minute of regular time to go. Wallenberg got the assist and Cazza the credit, basically. Avenida Principal tied with the Wanderers, who seem to like to play their best against the big teams. No proof of it though. Worth noting that Abuda tore apart the Wanderers' defense, though, getting two assists and a scissor kick goal to equalize. Finally, Dí Maozöxê finally won after dominating a rival, this time thanks to Spencer Fox causing two too many headaches to the Victorian defense. First, he dribbled two players in a square metre, right next to the penalty spot, before shooting to the lower-right corner (needless to say Basurto couldn't stop it). Then, in the second half, he dribbled two Victorian defenders before facing Basurto one-on-one and chipping the ball towards Nonhagatte's head. Nonhagatte is no retard, and he scored. And Dí Maozöxê finally won, even though Fermín Juárez did scare them with a goal early on the second half.

And so Dí Maozöxê wins again, and this might just cause a streak of wins if they manage to keep up with the lack of cowardice. Once again, I feel I should talk about Spencer Fox, but enough of that, Rübéãn Ôbá-Hän did really well too, and made the most out of Fox's passes, one of them ending hitting the net (hint: that's a goal). The Wanderers beat Avenida Victoria one-nil thanks to a goal by Harley Smith. It was dull. Very dull. Avenida Principal defeated Ferdullaele. The first three minutes were insane. First, in the very first minute, Abuda surprised the goalkeeper by shooting from afar a ball that had been left bouncing. Boom, a goal. But just two minutes later the ex-Farf-national-team-starting-striker Septimus Johans equalized with a header. Nothing else happened for the rest of the first half. One minute after the second half kicked off, Dandofogué, the guy who was signed from Pezcemá Golden Magikarps (long story), scored from the edge of the box. No more goals would be scored. Flamagua against Avenida Leal was a pretty interesting game, which Flamagua actually sort of dominated. However, in the end, Wallenberg and Arambilet would prove too much for Flamagua. It is still unknown why after scoring the equalizer Carrera decided to substitute Arambilet, Wallenberg and Cornelio. Does not make any sense at all. Also worth noting that Wallenberg has been consistently showing why he was signed, by now getting to be the new member of Avenida Leal's big three, seeing as Aurora left and a spot is open. However, Cazza and Saucedo might both have a decent case for that too, but Cazza is slightly overshadowed by Arambilet and Saucedo is still too green (as in both his name and his surname are related to trees plus he's pretty young). Oh, sorry, I got driven away. Flying Jellyfish and Avenida Decepción tied with nobody scoring. Oh God that was boring. Sent 01 beat Foraé with a late goal by Pío, a dubious penalty kick. And with dubious I mean Toluca fucking dove. Also, Mâ Âlâmëómë won. Not much else to say, I think. Interesting match that had them winning by three goals and then just by one, maybe? Also, Fryi Frêndê took care of Madorre De Fuego quite well, seeing as they deserved the win they got. Libertarian Ferdullaele, meanwhile, went from losing two-nil to winning three-two in eight minutes, and later on scored a fourth goal. Stupid Geyinstanles United. Also, La Nueva Avenida scored four against Green Ruland in the first two thirds of the first half (to those mathematically-impaired: that's within half an hour), and later on struggled to keep the difference, but ended up on top, even if just narrowly.
