Raven had left after the class was over, just to remember that she had wanted to talk to the teacher afterwards. Turning to head back, she arrived just as Hades was leaving, and she gently knocked on the door. She liked this teacher. He seemed nice. Maybe too nice to people like Taint. But still. And she wanted to help with the investigations and whatnot, partially because it meant that she would have to fight less, most likely. Partially because it was more in her interest to do something like that.

Jolevier Tash

Jolevier was just leaving the classroom to head to the cafeteria. This body that was given to him required all the same human needs and he was beginning to feel the onset of hunger. He opened the door to find Raven standing there.

"Miss Raven! I was just on my way to the cafeteria. You raised an excellent point in class today if I may say. That kind of thinking is exactly what I want to see from my students. Though getting riled up about it in the classroom setting serves no productive purpose. I can understand why though. Apologies if you found my response distasteful. Is there something you need?" He asked.

Raven lowered her head, avoiding looking him in the eyes and using her hair to shield her face from view slightly. "I apologize," She said softly when he said the getting riled up served no purpose,"If you came from a world that is slowly being taken over by what is now your classmate, you would probably get angry too," She didn't really want to mention the other reason why she was so easily angered by Taint. "I came about joining your group."

(Taint)
Taint headed to the Cafeteria to eat. He was heading there more out of curiosity about what food tasted like then actually being hungry. He did still have to eat, though, just not quite as often as most people would, because he could simply ignore the feelings of hunger. But if he didn't want this body to die, he would have to take care of it, and that meant eating and drinking like a normal person. And sleeping. And anything else normal people had to do. He walked through the halls with his back straight and head held high, as though he owned the school. He was a King and he knew it, even if no one else here did.

Jolevier Tash

Raven seemed shy. Jolevier did not discount the fact that she may just be acting that way. Though if she really was then that would be something he would endeavor to train out of her. He preferred all his students carry themselves with confidence.

"There are many things in the world to be angry about. This one and your own it would seem though I wouldn't know from personal experience. You do know that I am a clone of somebody. A copy of somebody else if you will. My original was murdered. But anger does not contribute to real solutions in my experience and only makes us stray away from achieving that which we really believe to be important. It makes us careless and too willing to give up things that we hold dear. Plus, it is better to appear in control of yourself and your emotions to your adversaries despite what you may be feeling in inside. I have things to be angry about and feel anger too Miss Raven. Our prerogative regulating it." He said trying to empathize.

"Oh that." He remarked about joining his investigative group. "Walk with me." Jolevier beckoned and started heading towards the cafeteria. He explained the same things he did to Hades in detail. The requirements and to look out for his email. "I also don't want you to worry about not knowing much about our world, sciences or technology. Many of the adversaries we will be trying to root out are magical. Knowledge in magic is just as important and I am confident you will be an asset to the group." Jolevier reassured her. Genuine complements usually worked wonders for somebody's self esteem in his experience.

"Is there anything else? You should eat. There are more classes today and I would want you to be able to pay the utmost attention to your other teachers."

"I am not just angry because of that. I was taken by the Corruption that covers my world, as well. It changed me. I escaped it's control, but it is still inside of me. It is anger and hatred, and it is hard to suppress. It is why I look like....This, She said 'This' with distaste as she gestured at herself,"And why I am easily angered when it comes to some things."

She gave him a faint smile when he complimented her,"Your world should not be a problem for me. We have science and technology in my world too. Same level of advancement as this world, basically, too, just less of it. Less wide-spread. And, sadly, The Corruption cut my Magic school short, so I do not know as much as I could about it."

"I think that will be all," She said, giving him another faint smile,"And do not worry, I am good at paying attention to classes, hungry or not."

Oz

Walking in from the cafeteria from the Garden of Eden, Oz took a quick survey of the large room. The luxury dishes and intoxicating smells emanating from the kitchens were one of high caliber, something he found quite nice and almost impressive. Different dietary needs of different students would most likely be accounted for, and he reckoned that he could get some personally favorite foods of his. As few people were in the cafeteria already, Oz simply went up to the counter and engaged in brief conversation with the cook or server there. Apparently they had a dish consisting of some bratwurst with bread roll and cheese spread garnished with a side salad waiting for him. Oz was a man who enjoyed his food, understandably.

Then he saw the putrid little crap he was to be watching over, Taint, walking with his nose pressed to the ceiling. Meaning, a frothy air reeking of arrogance and confidence. That much Oz didn't mind, it was the Corruption that he had a problem with. It was a power he only recently encountered, and through his displays in the battle, Oz managed to learn quite a lot about it. Still, Oz set his food down at a table off in a far back corner and made a direct bee-line to the boy, man, thing. He spoke quick and with some relaxed authority, and didn't care too much for a reply.

"When you get your food, go sit with me over there. We have some introductions to get out of the way." Oz said, motioning to his table. He moved away from Taint quickly, ignoring whatever he may have said, looking for Ciel and Charlotte to see if they made it to the cafeteria yet or not. Oz had priorities, and one of them wasn't babysitting an all-consuming demon lord through a temper-tantrum. He wondered if he should bring that girl Raven, she seemed to keep talking about Taint's powers as if she had seen them first hand. However, she was pre-occupied with Jolevier, and so Oz began to make his way back to the table where his food was.

Taint narrowed his eyes at Oz as he came over and basically gave him an order. He decided that he didn't like that very much. Going over to the area where one would get food from, he looked over it all. None of it meant anything to him. Good or bad, he knew nothing either way, so, naturally, he piled his plate with many many different kinds of food. Once that was done, he gave OZ a glance, before walking over to a seat nowhere near where OZ had told him to sit, and began eating.

A smile creaked on the man's face. Defiant, how interesting. Who in this wide world would have thought that Taint would not take an order. It set up some mental projections for Oz. It gave him a better mental map of the thing he was to be guiding. Seeing no shame, Oz picked up his food and went to where Taint sat. He set his food down and sat directly opposite of the troublemaker. He looked down at his food and took some bites now and again, stabbing and chopping his sausage, before glancing up at Taint. "Cute display. You don't seem to like to take much shit from others, be it peers or authority."

"Not sure if I like that or not. Of course, what do you care. Tell me then, about yourself." Oz said, knowing some parts of Taint's transcript anyway as his team leader. Oz really didn't have a plan to work as a coherent team - Taint would be shit-all at the concept and work best alone with occasional, and though unwilling to ask for it, support. Oz was not there to be a father figure or a guiding mentor to Taint - well, technically he was, Oz just didn't want to since Taint didn't want to. Oz wished to plan and guide the conversation, but decided against it. The boy would buck and rebel each attempt no doubt.

His body appeared to be full, and he had no intentions of getting fat. He simply looked at OZ with contempt and a reluctant willingness to answer the questions put forth to him. This was because he saw no real reason not to answer them, depending on what they were.

Charlotte and Jolevier Tash

"Good day Miss Raven." Jolevier said and headed to get some food. He made sure to select the healthier offerings though indulged in a bit of ice cream. The original Jolevier had a taste for cigars and fine bourbon which he was yearning for right now. Though this would be a wholly inappropriate setting to be consuming such things. He sat down and ate. When close to finishing his food Charlotte appeared with her own tray of food to sit across from him.

"What are you doing? You should be meeting new people and making friends." Jolevier addressed her.

"I am unsure of what the proper social conventions are for doing so. There are varying perspectives on how appropriate it is to make an approach." She replied logically.

"Just do what you think is right. Disregard what the textbooks say." He said then smiled knowing that would be a difficult concept for Charlotte to grasp. "Maybe you should speak to your team leader, Oz." He offered. The man seemed quite mischievous to him from their own interaction and from the original's memories.

Charlotte glanced over and saw that he was speaking to Taint. A feeling of disdain came over her for the being after his display in class.

"I would rather not." She responded.

"Very well. Do as you please. There's matters I need to attend to so I must leave you. Good day Charlotte." He said, addressing her by her first name which was uncommon. Jolevier only did so with one he felt as special bond with.

Before Charlotte could protest Jolevier was gone and so continued to eat quietly alone.

"It needs to work on personal pronouns." Oz said, grabbing the tray of food Taint decided not to finish. Oz's own food had already been withered away by his appetite, and he began to prey on his students plate. No shame at all in taking barely touched food, he just moved the pieces Taint came into contact with at the side of the plate. A ploy perhaps, who knew. Maybe Oz was just hungry, or was it a series of tests and examinations? Probably hunger.

"As your...Leader..." Oz said, with strange pronunciation on the term, as if it wasn't really a word or concept at all, but a foreign word imported into English. "I don't want you to follow me. I wouldn't want someone named Taint standing behind me. I could make a prison joke involving Oz, but I don't think you would understand too well." A nice little pun, kind of offensive, but Oz doubted Taint would really react much to it. He changed to a quick deadpan expression, conveying seriousness. "You will follow your own path and such, do what you want to do, but we must appear to be a team. So, we need to fake a relationship." Oz was nearly finished with Taint's food at this point. He would look to the student and back to the plate now and again. "I can make sure that you are free to do as you want, if you co-operate in that regard. You have your own agenda to follow." Finally though, Oz relented and asked a question. Pushing his, well Taint's, plate away from himself and leaning forward, Oz quizzed, "What is your agenda? What are your goals?" Simple, yet something Oz could work with to determine what further use and contact with Taint had.

Oz looked around the room, seeing a few more people walk in. Finally, he spotted Charlotte speaking with Joletier, who seemed to have already left. He had caught her quick glances, and decided that he needed to go get her, yet would wait for Taint's answer. He turned his full attention back to Taint, expecting a quick and dull answer.

No body was sure exactly how it started but Gunnralf and Ericka were in a mental combat over the iTablet that Ericka had been given. They were continuously hacking, counter hacking and doing whatever they could to control the device without touching it. Since Ericka had already redesigned her HUD and her own personal computer device she didn't need her tablet and so decided to use it for the test. The whole thing had stared when they had greeted eachother than informed eachother of their super powers, than Ericka suggested seeing who was the better at hacking.
Broadside dead ahead!

No, this comment is not meant to be sarcastic.

"It is neither male nor female. Nor is It human," Taint said, raising an eyebrow ever so slightly when Oz took his plate of food, but beyond that he had no response. He listened to what Oz said, seeming to find something amusing. "'We' must appear as a team. 'We'. Tell me why It must act as a team with you. It does not care what the school thinks of It, so It does not have to do what It does not want, so It does no have to fake a relationship, nor cooperate with you." His mouth stretched into a grin at his question, but it didn't reach his eyes. "It's agenda is It's own, as are It's goals, and It does not care to tell you them."

Sean Wellington
As he was a brain in a jar, he did not eat, only think. The chemicals kept him alive and provided nutrients, but every now and again he missed the ritual of eating. Of course he could always simply stimulate the sensory part of his brain into thinking he ate, but today he devoted his thoughts to plotting. "In what way shall one destroy an educational institution? Does one destroy the facility or eliminate the faculty? Break the spirits of the students?" He pondered.

Ima LeZaarde
"Nuke it! Flood-quake Hawaii! Volcanic eruptions! Sharktopusnados!" Ima spouted as he sat down with his tray piled high with raw meat. He was against the "disgusting mammalian" culinary arts. In mere seconds he noisily scarfed down his meal. Additionally, Ima had little regard for "mammalian" table manners. He wrote in one of his notebooks another revenge scheme, this one ment for jolly old Tash. Fortunately, or possibly unfortunatly, his handwriting was an incomprehendable shorthand of the raptor language, as well as below par penmanship.

Jane Reaction
"That's your answer to everything Ima. What we need are giant ants! And their anthill can be disguised as a volcano! It's perfect, and cute!" Jane commented as she slowly ate her salad. She set aside some for her roaches riding in her pocket. Although, the sight of Ima eating made her a bit queasy.

Alexander Edison
"You are missing Sean's point, what is our target here? It must be more defined. I suggest we study the structure of the intitution, probe for weaknesses." Alexander suggested. Although he could eat, food was tasteless and unnecessary. The immortal Odic particles ensured some sort of life, even if his mind dissipated like a bucket of oil in an ocean. It had taken a great deal of time for him to recondense into a sapient entity after that fateful battle with Tesla.

"That's cute." Oz said as Taint finished. "You wanted a question but didn't want to answer one." Oz drank a little water from a bottle, a quick gulp before setting it back down. "It must act as a team with me because the Principal said so. It shouldn't be here if It didn't care what the school thought. It can leave whenever It wants." Oz was humoring the kid's speech impediment further, as terrible as that sounds. "Why is It here, then?"

Oz quickly looked over to the four...students... sitting at a table in the distance. Oz had deduced some core things about that little posse, not that he planned to do anything about it. If they wanted to infiltrate the school, it would have been better to separate and pretend to not to know one another, as most of the students do not know each other prior to coming here. However, they may have had a more direct motive to stick together. Oz's smile deteriorated when he saw that girl feed some roaches in her pocket, and that dinosaur-thing screeching around. He understood now, it seemed like some of their team couldn't operate independently, that the literal brains of the team needed to keep them together. Slowly, Oz turned his attention back to Taint, waiting for an answer.

He tilted his head at Oz's question,"It has already said that It will not share It's agenda and goals with you. It is here for It's own reasons, and It does not care to share those reasons with strangers."

"Right then." Oz said, strangely satisfied with the answer he was given. Slowly, he rose from his seat and dusted himself off a bit, though he didn't really have any crumbs on his lap. "Tell your Principal, Prey, that you do not care and see if that can satisfy your curiosity for human behavior when they are pissed." He pushed in his chair, casting a quick glance around the room. Oz had finished his food, and Taint's, quite early. He still had time to interact with other students besides a lump on a log. He gave some parting words, but felt as if this was the last time he had to deal with this thing. "You will find more than you bargain for in this world."

With that, Oz departed the table, heading towards one end of the cafeteria. From there, he will find another student and interrupt their lunch with some unwanted conversation. Taint was kind of a buzz-kill, the ageless embodiment of evil from another plane of existence should be more interesting than a twelve year old who just discovered Goth Music. No matter though, Oz felt no longer obligated to provide him with anything other than a few failing grades and name-calling regarding his unfortunate name.

Hades
His conversation with Mr.Tash complete, Hades made his way to the cafeteria. He picked up a small plate of greens before going about the process of choosing a seat. Rather than try to speak with anybody, Hades made sure to find a seat as far away from everybody else as possible, facing a wall. Really it was more for everyone else's sake rather than his own. Sure Hades didn't tend like the people that would be considered his 'peers', but he mainly sat alone because he knew most wouldn't like to see him while he ate, since he would have to remove his mask. Speaking of which, Hades went about doing that, followed by beginning to eat his food.

Magus
It wasn't long before Magus arrived at the cafeteria. Taking the closest thing to a deep breath as he could, he walked in. Now, all he had to do was find someone he could talk to. Making that decision proved harder than Magus had expected, though. In the end, he decided on Miss Corbière, who he saw also in the cafeteria. She was going to be his teacher for one of his classes, so he could make up a reason to speak with her, and her being an adult made Magus feel a bit more comfortable speaking to her. From what little he had seen, Magus wasn't sure how well he'd do talking to people in his age group. So, Magus approached her. "Uh, Miss Corbière? My name is Magus." The crystal being said telepathically. "I just, uh, wanted to say...how much of an honor it will be. To be in your class I mean. I'm taking a magic class this year."

"It's world has more danger to It than this world, and It survives fine there," Taint said in reply to OZ's parting words. Amusing how this person acted like they knew everything, and like they were better then him. Giving a warning such as the one that Oz had given was just silly, as no one could know what he would find, nor would they know what exactly more then he bargained for would be. So he simply found what Oz silly and somewhat childish, throwing out meaningless warnings.

Eleanor (Leona) Corbière / Stiria

Leona was a bit surprised someone went up and talk to her, she wasn't exactly looking like someone most would talk to and her icy aura would be enough to make most not evne want to bother. "Don't tell me it's an honor, you don't know me well neough yet to know if it would be an honor. Non the less I appreciate the sentiment. So you interested in magic as an observer or one that uses magic, or is your race some sort of sentient magical crystal, magic being what made you?".

Leona could already sense he could use magic, sensing magic was offcourse a basic skill for magic users and Leona was so advanced in it that she could even tell what kind of magic most mages specialised in. This creature just seemed like he needed a conversation so Leona humored him for now.

Magus
Magus was surprised in turn by how Leona initially responded, but was glad to see that what he initially though was a immediate mistake on his part wasn't nearly as bad as he thought it was. "Actually it is two of those. I am taking your magic class to hone my ability to use magic, but I am also part of a race of crystal beings created by magic." Magus said, glad that he got a chance to talk about his own people. It was hard to mess that up. Alright, off to a decent start. Maybe now I could ask a question in turn? But what should I ask? Maybe about her class? No I'm going to be taking her class later, that should wait. Maybe I should...

"You seem tense, I may not be an expert at reading people or aliens, but I'm great at reading magic and when your mind is tense so is your magical aura. Relax kid, you're talking to a dead person here I'm not going to judge anything you say.".

Truth be told if Leona wasn't undead she would be tense as well right now, not really being used to idle chit chat in a teacher student way. But being dead has a way to change perspective on these kinds of things, getting tense was something that didn't really happen to Leona anymore.

"Just say what you feel like saying, if I don't feel like responding you'll find out fast enough.".

Magus
"O-okay." Magus said before pausing for a moment. "I'm sorry, I just feel really nervous today. Today's the first day I've ever met any aliens, let alone this many and most of my people have never met any either. Now there are extraterrestrials everywhere and I'm basically representing my race on a galactic scale and I'm nervous and I'm worried I'm going to make a mistake or do something stupid and mess everything up and I've been here for less than a day and I already have an essay assigned in the one class I've gone to and I've never even written an essay before, I don't understand how those iTablets or that giant battle arena even work and the buildings are all above ground and...everything here is just so different here." There was another pause. "Yeah...that did not sound like I thought it would."

"Just be yourself, whether that means a life of wonder, or a life of mediocraty, a life of social upstanding or solitude. Sentient creatures flourish when they're themselves. And as you stated yourself, there are many aliens here, nobody will take your actions as the standard to your peoples actions. Secondly, there's htis computer thing names KARA, I don't get what it is exactly but it's like a fake creature, a golem I suppose that lives in an electrical box, she or it will help you with questions about essays and everything else and such. And don't feel like you need to succeed in everything. I'm the leading expert in magic, ask me technical stuff and, well you noticed how I described KARA.".

Leona stood up and stretched her arms a bit, breaking off a small layer of ice that grew from sitting still. "I need to fix some stuff in my room, enjoy your meal, don't take things like eating for grantid by the way, after 900 years of being unable to eat, breath, drink, even change," Leona held her hand instinctively to the wound on her chest which has remained the same since she died, "you trully realise how great the small things were, I'll see you in magics class, it's going to exhaust you completely.".

With that said Leona left the cafeteria to visit her room.

Wolfgang wandered through the halls. He had arrived late to the school, thus missing the tour and whatnot, and so he was lost, and had no idea where anyone was. His claws ticked on the hard floor of the school as he trotted down a hall. In the end, he decided it best to just follow his nose, and did just that, which lead him to the Cafeteria, where it looked like most of the students were, if not all.

His tongue lolling out happily, he trotted to the food counter and put his front paws up on it. Standing on his hind legs, he looked at the food. It had been an awful long time since he had eaten a full meal.....And this food sure looked good. Surely no one would miss a couple pieces of lunch meat....Looking over his shoulder to see that no one was watching, he snagged a couple of pieces of lunch meat in his jaws and places his paws back on the ground, taking the food in to the corner to eat.
