Maybe, maybe not. If you're wanting to sleep, then it's not good being awake. If you've slept 16 hours at once and still feel tired, then it's probably better to be awake at that point even if you're not feeling rested yet.

It's all very situational and there is no universally applicable answer. What is good in some ways may be bad in others. There could potentially be a butterfly effect that starts from you being awake, with disastrous consequences.
