The Dominion would like to inquire as to why the Anglo-Saxon's military requests preferred weapons for its foreign legionnaires, instead of easing logistics by providing a standard issue?

Largely because the hope is that an enemy would be unable to cope with the diversity of the force. Also we won't guarantee that we will give them their preferred weapons, but if they share the same ammunition as our weapons, or if a large part of the foreign legion uses weapons that use the same round than we will equip them with their preferred weapons. So in the end our military might only add 2 or so new cartridges to be used by our military.

We of Oppressive Cyborgs are a relativity new nation in a relativity new land. As such, we happen to have very troublesome natives surrounding us. Recently, an expedition was sent to stop them from harassing our shipments (we are an island nation, and they occupy the coastal regions to the west and north of us), and we were able to capture around 2,000 natives (they like to call themselves "Skinners"). They, being impressed with our modern weapons, have signed on as mercs to our government. Now, we have no need of them, so we can give you the entire army of 10,000 Skinners for $2,000 a piece, which comes out to $20 million USD. Prices are negotiable, of course.

Any special requests for nation or soldiers: They would prefer to be left separated from the rest of your soldiers (and it would probably be best), be on the point of attacks, and, as a note of caution, they'll only follow orders when you've impressed them enough. Blow up a town or something. And one last thing: they distrust most modern equipment. They believe cameras steal souls, no absolutely NO flash photography. They've learned to use radios, but they are suspicious of moving images (TVs and the like). They'll ride in vehicles.



You want to let them use this. They carry around thousands of cartridges for these things on their animals, and we can always ship in more if you need them.
We do hope you choose these fine barbarians. If they like you enough, we might be able to send in all of them (the women and children, along with the rest of the men), but that is unlikely. Still, long term, that would be good for both of us.

The only weapons that will be provided to foreign legion soldiers are weapons chambered in the 5.56x45mm, 7.62x39mm, or 9x19mm rounds. If a nation wants to use a weapons chambered in a different cartridge they must provide the weapons and the ammo.
