What are some other Terms for Air Force?

Postby Szumalia » Mon Dec 30, 2013 7:47 pm

I require a name for my airforce, but I do not want to call it simply "Air force" I thought about Air Corps, but I already named the armoured assets of my nation the "Tank Corps" (It is not a single corps), so I was wondering, my nation is WW2 Poland, and I want to decide for a good name for my aerial forces, please if you have some good suggestions, tell me them.

Your nation is like a son. What it does right is your merit, as well as what it does wrong is your fault. When you praise it, be lucid and avoid exaggeration. Praising it too much can make it indolent. On the other hand, when you criticize it, be harsh, but do not ridicule it. Do your best to improve it, not through derision or disdain, but through good examples and dedication.

空軍

seriously there's really no other option
ask moderation about reading serious moderation candidates TGs without telling them about it until afterwards and/or apparently refusing to confirm/deny the exact timeline of TG reading ~~~ i hope you never sent any of the recent mods or the ones that got really close anything personal!

signature edit: confirmation has been received. they will explicitly do it before and without asking. they can look at TGs basically whenever they want so please keep this in mind when nominating people for moderator or TGing good posters/anyone!

The Soviets used "Air Army" to refer to units of their Air Force, but you could use it for the whole thing.

The Spanish and the French Air Forces have theirs translated into English as "Army of the Air".

The Aether Force sounds cooler and more intelligent obviously, though.

Zoomie Corps.... I'd come up with some actual derogatory names for Air Force but all my research indicates they are so lame they don't get any.

End the special tax exemption for religion. Churches can apply for tax exemption like any other not-for-profit.... the only churches which would be concerned by losing this are the ones not doing anything genuinely deserving of tax-exempt status.

I think that's way too generalizing as there are plenty of good people on NS who are/have been in the military.

Air Navy is the best term, of course.

However, it doesn't work without airships.
