Summary of House: One of the younger houses of the realm of Evarii, founded by a foreign mercenary named Ulrik the family once served the powerful Bluthal family whom ruled over the Blood Mountains and the lands surrounding them. Taking advantage of the families growing insecurities, Ukrik brutally seized power with the aid of his infamous mercenary company, Hell’s Bastards. Inviting the Bluthals to a lavish feast, Ulrik massacred them and their supporters in a hail of arrows, taking the last survivor of the family a young girl Visria as his wife. From their union House Hellfyre was born and to this day has continued to preside over the Blood Mountains, through their iron fisted and absolutist rule.
House History:
-House Hellfyre is founded a century ago by the foreign mercenary adventurer Ukrik Hellfyre when he seizes the High Lordship of the Blood Mountains ruling from the great stronghold of Bluthal.
-Ulrik’s sons Johannes, Gregor and Sunfyre brutally expand their fathers domains into the nearby river lands, exterminating rival houses and either taking their holdings for themselves or rewarding their allies with them.
-Brief civil war between the three sons of Ulrik, Johannes emerges triumphant and begins to further consolidate his family’s power over the Blood Mountains through alliances and reforms. And uses the discovery of metals in the Blood Mountains to expand the family’s fortunes.
-Winfryd Hellfyre leads the last expansion towards the holdings of House von Hesse, but dies after conquering the castle/city of Meergard.
-Phillip Hellfyre succeeds his father, and fights of a rebellion by the ancient hill tribes, as well under his mother the infamous Shade worshipper Judyth begins to convert the populace.
-Brotherhood of the Watcher Rebellion, religious zealots of the old faith attempt to rise up against the Hellfyres, but are crushed by Phillip, House Hellfyre remains dominant.
-House Hellfyre enters the First Era, at the same time Phillip’s legitimized bastard son Conor takes power as the new High Lord of the Blood Mountains following his father’s death.

Head of House History: Born the bastard son of Phillip Hellfyre, Conor Hellfyre was born to Phillips long-time mistress Vitora and subsequently legitimized upon the twos marriage some time later. Known for his quiet and scholarly disposition, Conor though known for his less then fervent practice of the Darkness faith. Known for his quick mind, though on the surface he seems a quiet, well-mannered scholarly type, Conor is also an entirely ruthless man, known for his cruelty and sheer ambition when his true nature is revealed. Serving his father as a talented spymaster and steward Conor was instrumental in preserving his father’s rule, weeding out dissidents and mercilessly dealing with traitors. Now having ascended the High Lordship of the Blood Mountains after doing away with his more powerful rivals by clandestine means he has begun to plot to see his families’ fortunes increase even more. As well Conor asides being known for his scholarly and political pursuits is known as a crackshot with a bow though he wields the family blade a fine honed steel Scimitar, Hellfang.
