Justin shuddered, his flames grasping for the air. He watched the Thornian, and gratefully kept his temperature low as a Thanks-I-Won't-Envelop-You-Now. "Thank you...Thornian...you likely just saved me. What is your name?" Slowly, his flames danced calmly, his body a peaceful still.

Standing up, Seth offered the elemental his hand. "sorry about that. Can't have a fight with a star in the middle of the great hall. We'd probably both get expelled."

He looked at Thorvan, and nodded. "You...you are not so bad. I won't absorb you to fuel my core. Mabye we can be...friends." Slowly, he raised himself up, and rested against a wall.

Harold calmed down slightly deciding that proving that he could destroy something like that was good enough, Harold now sat quite smugly, happy with himself over what happened. Perhaps if he could do that he could pass this exam.

Jacob sighed, and took the automoton out of his pocket. With it, he took out a tiny engraving tool, and in his best work yet, carved the name Celicia into its left foot. "Thorvan, let's sit back down." Toying with the automotan's joints to make sure it would work, he sat back down.

Jacob looked up from his work. "Oh, it's just-",he hesitated, unsure what to say. Looking down at its delicate armor shell and purple hair, he sighed. "A project. I named it Cela, it's my automaton." He lifted the head and pressed a button, and closed the head as the automaton's gears shifted into life. "A clockwork automaton."

Jacob looked up, and smiled. "I've worked on them since I was 7. Always had a knack for it. Used to be rough painting, okay body, and the gears creaked. Now I've improved." He unscrewed a compartment, and slid in a small box, before screwing it back in. "That's the voice box to let it talk." He handed it over to Thorin, and took out his tool tarp, taking out a sealer can to finish the paintjob.

Thorvan could tell that he didn't want to be disturbed with his work, so he tended to his own business. He conjured up a small orb of solar light in his hand, and danced it around his fingers, bringing a smile to the Thornian's face.

Arafax Calmly Walked to the Great hall, as soon as he heard the call for the Exams. He tried to keep a focused mind, preparing for the test that lay before him. He said a prayer to Wakaioti, as he Walked through the doors. There, he Awaited the Announcement, and pondered what he should do next. Both Immediately, for the Test, and for the Future, when he graduates. All the other students were set on some faction, but he Didn't identify with that. Maybe, he Could start his own faction, one that based on Honor, and A man making a name for himself. Not one for the Aristocracy, but one for the Poor, who have nothing to use except the clothes on their backs. It would allow the World to be free, from the Wrath of Kings and Fools. Oh, to dream.

"yeah. Be right back." running off to the workshop, Seth grabbed a canister of gas, and a small brass cylinder. Emptying the gaseous contents of the brass cylinder into another container, along with a bunch of helium. Some of this should keep him a little cooler. Sealing the helium in with some alchemist's ice essence, he brought the canister back to Justin.

Thorin looked at Jacob, "Why is there a automaton that looks like my dear Celicia in your possesion!! HOW DARE YOU!!!" Frey growled at Jacob and bared his fangs, ready to tear out his throat.

"The Exams have commenced, make your way to the catacombs and choose your trial. You will each be given a room. Good Luck…oh and try not to die."
