Fighting abilities and advantages: Wields a large battle axe and shield. Hurky can cast minor healing spells and Burky can cast minor lightning bolt spells. Superhuman strength, endurance, and speed.
Biographical Information: The life of the famed Mutant Minotaur of Meridon is shrouded by the fog of legend. It is said by some that Hurky, Burky, and Jim were born the way that they were, as a punishment by the gods for their parents' wrongdoings. Others claim that they were once separate creatures, allies on a field of battle. Each mortally wounded, they were fused together by a shaman in order to save their lives. Dozens of other equally far-fetched tall tales circulate about their origin, but one thing is agreed upon: no three minotaurs anywhere in Meridon can best them in ceremonial combat. They have slain dragons, crushed goblin rebellions, and even gone toe-to-toe with the god of fire (or so the myth goes), and now they seek the next level of glory. They jumped (especially Burky) at the opportunity to fight in the Tiger Pit, and now they are here to prove their worth as warriors.
Physical Appearance: A very large, muscular, gender-neutral minotaur. (Part of its condition is a complete underdevelopment of primary sex characteristics, and it has never been examined to determine what gender the body is.) It has three heads: Its left head is Hurky, a hornless cow; its right head is Burky, a bull; and its third head is Jim, who is really more of a half-developed one-horned face protruding at an odd angle from the left side of the chest. This head appears to have no degree of control over the body.

Her weaponry and armor (or her "little toys" as she describes them) are funded by various terrorist organizations, who hire her to do what she loves whenever they have a point to make. So... how exactly are you going to decide battles between us and one of your chars, Orb? Do we just auto-win or do you think you can be truly objective with these guys?

Any time an NPC battles an active player character, the player character will win--but that will happen only once. Basically, it will work like this: if a player becomes inactive and/or resigns from the RP before he/she gets a chance to fight (which happens almost inevitably), we'll need some way of dealing with his/her character. So I feed the character to one of the NPC's in the arena, to avoid the unfairness (and unfunness) of pitting an active player against an inactive one. When it gets to the point where there are no inactive players (which could be in the first round--that would be nice), I feed one of the NPC's to the other, and during the next round, the remaining NPC gets fed to one lucky player character. This way, there will only be one instance of an active player getting an automatic victory. I'd prefer not to have any players getting auto-wins, but that isn't feasible considering the tendency for players to drop out of RP's.

Besides that, the NPC's can be useful for advancing the plot. If I have certain plot ideas in mind, I can use the NPC's as tools to nudge the players in the right direction. Or, if conversation simply becomes stagnant, I can use NPC's to get players talking and interested again.
