Ok, so there is an Island recently discovered. The island has shown that it contains vast supplies of: oil, gold, diamond, and fresh reserves of pure drinking water. The water surrounding is has many kinds of fish. The island who wins it gets the resources.
THE TECH LEVEL IS: MODERN. (NO STARSHIPS, DEATHSTARS, OR WEAPONS THAT CAN MAKE YOU GOD LIKE) NUCLEAR WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED BUT I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. (If anyone does use a nuclear it probably destroy the Island and the purpose of the war)

It is undiscovered. So no one knows what it is like other than knowing that it is rich in oil, gold, diamonds, and wildlife. Plus I just put it up here so naturally only a few will come.

I my 100 marines find a tribe of inhabitants. We make a pact. They shall fight with us. This adds 500 warriors to our 100 Marines. We have set up base on the northern peninsula.

Task Force 501, en route to Blackwater Island
The RAS Absalon, an Absalon class corvette, lead the Task Force as it was the command ship for this operation. Inside, there was 200 settlers that would help colonize the island. They wanted the small pennisula that was the northern fourth of the island. There was also 1,575 troops (500 Rangers, 75 RAN Commandos, and 1,000 Infantrymen). A small airfield would be built along with a fort. As TF501 arrived on the island, 25 RAN Commandos went on shore. They reported back that in the center was a mountain that was surrounded by jungle.

You can't really take the whole peninsula. It is way too big and not enough of it has been explored.
