What are your goals?

Why do you want to avoid marriage? You could always get a prenup agreement.

My goals are:
-graduate college (currently a Comp Sci/Math double major)
-get a job that pays a lot or pays decently but with lots of benefits like FBI agent, NSA agent, or Airfoce Officer. (that last one unlikely since I stopped doing ROTC)
-Become proficient with guns and get concealed carry permit so that I can defend myself, property, and family.
-Become proficient with various western swords (currently fencing foil) for fun
-Buy or smith a full set of plate mail armor
-Have a full time servant who lives with me
-meet Hugh Hefner, acquire an artifact of his (a jacket, perhaps)
-have sex with an official playmate
-Get Married, have 2 or 3 children, and raise them to be superior.
-never change a diaper in my life

Because how do Western men benefit from modern marriage? It is a complete sham that ends in a paycheck for the lawyer and undeserved money in the purse of a bitch.

But can't you just sign a prenup agreement so that you keep your money in a divorce?

I'm sure my goals will change, but the main ones are:
- to be happy
- to have someone, whether they are a partner or friend, that I can always have fun with and talk to and yadada
- to have a career that I enjoy and has a decent pay
- to travel to whatever cool places I can go, even if it's just a few towns or states away
- to help many people in small ways
- to possibly publish some sort of book

There's more, but that's all I can think of.

Most of these goals I see people writing here aren't goals in and of themselves, they're stepping stones to other goals. Become a lawyer or physicist, learn Swedish or Japanese, graduate university, become a politician, become rich, these are all stepping stones to accomplishing something else. It's presumeably not being a politician that entices you, but rather something in mind you want to change. Not the Swedish language itself, but rather that you'd like to have access to something in the language. It's not being a doctor itself, but rather that you want to help people or discover a cure to some disease. Do you follow? At it's very root, what is your goal from which all others stem?

Do a permanent and helpful political solution for this country. I always toyed with the idea of running for politics from being a lawyer in the Philippines and transform it into what Asigna Philippines, my IC nation, is right now or make it like what Singapore is right now, for the glory of the fatherland....Yet i have to work for it more...as i presume..i will have to pass a number of life experiences and things before i could attain my goal. Otherwise...i want to have a decent life partner, with the attainance of my political goals or not.

I think that it is impossible to know what a root goal could possibly be (unless that goal is ultimately death)...You set a goal, you meet that goal, you set the next goal. If someone met all of their goals (or what would be a root goal if I'm pickin' up what your puttin' down), there would be nothing to look forward to...I don't think I would like that at all.
