Today in the Empire,

Her Grand Imperial Majesty, the Infallible and Magnanimous Mother of the Confederate Empire, Grand Empress Xiang has released plans of reopening the People's Congress sometime in the near future. As memory shall show, the Grand Empress dissolved the People's Congress due to a mass corruption probe and lese majesty violation. Should plans follow through the elections could be expected in the next year. The Congress, as the Imperial Government reminds the people, is a place for elected representatives to air grievances on the behalf of the people and advise the Imperial Government on National Policy.

In honor of the Imperial Princess Xing's 15th Birthday and for the 5th Anniversary of Ascension for the Grand Empress, Her Grand Imperial Majesty has ordered for an Empire wide tax cut for the coming year. The Grand Empress states that Imperial coffers can easily handle the loss of tax revenue for the year.

The Imperial Government is happy to report that the construction of the Trans AlexandrLand-ShengChinese oil pipeline is well underway. 3,000 Sheng Chinese workers work quickly and efficiently in the name of the Empire to provide the people with the much needed supply of crude oil. Refineries in Xinjiang Province wait eagerly for the beginning of flow of several billions of gallons of oil to provide to the homeland. The Imperial Government is also reporting a possible increase in job availability in the region as the pipeline nears the borders of the Empire and make way to Xinjiang Province.

Crown Prince Sheng Zheng Wei returned to the Imperial Capital of Yong'an after a month long diplomatic mission to several nations of the world and inspecting Imperial Colonies. He is reported to be 'very happy to be home again' and shall 'be taking a long rest in my own bed.' Great pomp and jubilee was had on the Prince's return to the capital. The streets full of adoring citizens as his motorcade made its way to the Palace. His missions were successful in establishing several new trade agreements and relationships with nations around the world.

Unrest has been noted today in Gansu and Xinjiang provinces from the ethnic Muslim populations of the area. Tensions have been high for several months since conflicts with Alystan in the West boiled over into open conflict. The Imperial Government assures the people that the conflict is not religious based and rather for the security of the whole Empire and the region to dismantle a dangerous regime. Viceory Ma Zhongying of Xinjiang is organizing sit downs to discuss the grievances with the protest leaders.

Imperial Tanks rolled through Peridion's capital today to disperse protests against the occupation of Allied Forces in their attempt to restructure the country away from its hostile tendencies. As tanks move through the city, Regional Health Organization aides under the direction of the Empire give food, water, blankets, and medicine to the citizens of the capital and the surrounding areas. Power has been restored to the city due to the efforts of the Allied Powers with hopes that it will alleviate grievances.

Civil War continues to ravage the Argentian fatherland as the Dratzni and the Narodna clash for control with increasing frequency.

The Nardona party, who seized power in an attack on the capital and ousted the Dratzni, continue to hold the capital, Central Argent, the Isles of Argent, and parts of South Argent.

The Dratzni party, having retreated to their strongholds in North and West Argent, remain resistant and steadfast against Narodna forces. The Dratzni have gone on the offensive and have begun attacking major cities along the border.

Three cities were seized in South Argent today, giving the Dratzni major control of area.

The Narodna are attempting a counter attack but efforts so far have been fruitless.

People's Plight

As fighting has moved into the major cities in Argent, the death toll continues to rise in the month long conflict. Current estimates that the death toll for the war including civilian and military casualties, is at approximately 50,000. Hundreds of thousands are reported to be injured. A potential million have been displaced attempting to flee the fighting.

The City Burns

In an attempt to strike back against the Dratzni for their attack in the South, Narodna air forces have bombed Drakmar. Drakmar is the current headquarters of the Dratzni party and its forces.

Fortunately for the Dratzni, anti-air guns and a scrambling of the jets quickly sent the enemy running. Not before, though, the east quarter was heavily bombed.

Good evening , I am Prisillia Nevochski and we are reporting live from outside the Valarustavian Peoples Parliament Building in Kiev where the Minister for Foreign affairs is delivering a press statement on the parliments decision concerning the ongoing civilwar in the neighbouring nation of Argent . We go live to inside the building for press statement.

By 1 pm today , both houses of the Valarustavian parliament have overwhelmingly agreed to condemn the Datzni party and its leadership for the continued unrest and support of the cult group , which is fueling the conflict in the country . Hence , we call on all parties to lower their arms and come to the negotiating table to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict , and to the international community to pick interest in the crisis and step forward to bring an end to the unacceptable act of bloodshed and violence ...."

Alexandrian nationalists and the people of Eastern Turkey are preparing more protests against the government of Alystan which is denying the accepting the remaining part of Eastern Turkey to Alexandr Land.

But rest of them can't live like that because they live in the Alystanian part.

The government of Alexandr Land criticizes the Dratni Argent for the violence and calls for the peace conference.

As the making of the 3000 kilometer long pipeline is ongoing, one of the major oil companies in Alexandr Land will send additional 5,000 workers as Sheng China sent 3,000 workers the total of 8,000 workers will work together to finish the making of the pipeline faster.

The Elections for President of Alystan is held on November 10 for President of Alystan, with candidates running from the Republican People's Party, to the Reshape and Reconstruct Party, also including the Popular People's Party and the Strong and Mighty Party.

The Military condemns protests against Alystan by the nationalist Alexandr Land. " Alexandr Land is in a course of selfish adventures which would only lead to undesirable and unfortunate events plaguing on us, we must act with vigilance in the price of safety."

The military orders the ambassador of Alexandr Land to be expelled temporarily to their country until the situation is stabilized.

Hellow, this is Tian Guan. Todays story has arisen some nation wide controversy for the past few weeks. It appears that people are starting to open up human zoos, and what is more interesting is that the "exhibits" actually want to work. What the zoo is trying to accomplish is compare life between tribes and modern day, the controversey arises with the fact that they're behind a glass.



We have been interviewing the zoo's proprietor who we found brandishing a whip (she apparently takes the zoo subject seriously). She said, "I don't really see the problem here. What we're doing is showing Tokora it's culture, you can't change it. This is making jobs in the community. These people love this job. You can't just take it away from them. Besides, if people don't like what we're doing they can just not come." Aperently the Preimer disagrees. He finds the practice disgusting saying that while history is important, this is not the way to go. He has ordered them to shut down immediantly.

In other news there has been disagreements with hikers and government property owners. They are upset that the land is preventing them to use their traditional routes. One of the guides told us "They can't block off these paths. We have been using them ever since the Khmer empire. These routes are part of Tokora's history. Besides, the fresh air will be good for everyone."



The government made a compromise to allow the paths open, but to charge them as extra revenue to add to tourism. This is somewhat of a hollow victory but at least they live to hike another day.

Further more, interest groups have been conflicting on how to solve the delima with spam once and for all. To make matters worse a young writer accidently sent his romance to the wrong address causing controversey. Here is what the Minister of Software Engineering had to say.



"Spam IS a major issue. Its counter productive, and wasting money. But we can't just get rid of it, its a major part of our econamy. So, to satisfy both parties, we decided to make a legal definition of spam, ban overtly fraudulant spam, and tax spam used by government buisinesses. Thank you."

Well I guess that solves that problem. Lastly, relations with North Korea have decreased significantly today as Kim-un-Jung continues to threaten it's neighbors. Our glorious leader said "This region of the world has many governments. We might not agree with all of them but we all are East-Asians. We will not sitback and watch as these tyrants abuse not only their people but the people of other nations. If their men walk so much as a foot out of their borders, we will come to the aid of any and all countries they choose to attack. US included."



We might not be able to see what will happen in this uncertain future, but we can all sleep soundly knowing that we are all under a magnificiant leadership. This is Tian Guan, signing out.

Dead or Alive?

Deraj Ylad, former Chancellor of the Unitary Republic of Argent, still remains missing a month after the revolution in Zevezda City lead by the now Narodna party.

The Narodna government continues to claim that the Chancellor met his demise while attempting to flee justice from the Revolutionary Forces. The government is offering rewards for for finding the deposed Chancellor dead or alive.

The Dratzni forces are still on the search for Chancellor Ylad. The Dratzni officials and officers claim that the Chancellor had survived the attempt on his life by assassins of the Narodna and was forced to flee into hiding. The Dratzni government-in-exile under Vice Chancellor Miroslav Stankovic is also offering rewards for information on the Chancellor so that they may restore him to power over the Dratzni party.

Leader Swap

In other news, Consul Novak Petrovic, leaders of the Narodna government, was forced to step from power today. Party hardliners were outraged with the Consul's willingness to so easily work with the Dratzni.

Rumor had it that the Consul was willing to sit down with Vice Chancellor Stankovic to discuss possible peace deals.

Biljana Plavsic was installed as Consul after a vote by the Congress. Milosevic is cited as being a party hardliner and has already promised to crackdown on dissidence and hope to upgrade the army. She promises 'to bludgeon the dying and decaying dogs of war that are the Dratzni.' She continues to promise to bring about reforms to dissolve large land holders in the to be conquered territory of the Dratzni to support the peoples of the war torn areas.

Dratzni officials have taken this as a sign of division and weakness in the Narodna government and foresee its eventual fall because of its own inability to control itself. Dratzni agents continue to watch the situation closely though.

Peridion Issue

Lastly, Argentian forces in Peridion remain stalwart and steadfast against protests by civilians. The Argentian Army has restricted themselves to the coastal areas of Peridion so as to be supported by the Argentian navy.

It is believed that the force in Peridion is loyal to the Dratzni party as they continue to swear allegiance to the Unitary Republic. The group however refuses to interfere in the civil war at this time in order to subdue the threat of Peridion.

1. US doesn't exist, I had control over it during the Sandbox (and before that Radicai) but I dramatically reduced my controlled land after the sandbox flattened out. If in doubt, remember that I control most of Eastern Asia minus China, Mongolia, central and western Russia. I also control some of West and northern America.

2. Although our region is "Asiana" we are not exclusively Asian nations, in fact only two of us define ourselves as Asian nations; Sheng and I. On my map Alystan exerts control over the Middle East, Argent the Balkans, and Alexandrland Turkey and most of Georgia (pre Russian expansion).

3. As tempting as it is please refrain from using jumbled names as they may cause offence etc. (I'm being very harsh )

4. Please confirm your land placements. (I am official mapmaker)

The Junta, in a solemn ceremony, has created a national legislature today to work to create an lower house legislature and have elections for the President and the lower house, the Chamber of Assembly. The President of the People's Council is effectively the head of state, AbdelRauf Karrash, a member of the Democratic Party of Alystan. Meanwhile, the junta has resigned and handed power to AbdelRauf Karrash, but only in one condition, if he didn't manage well enough, then the Army is going to give consequences.

And another update, the Junta wants negotiate a treaty between Papait and Alexandr Land.

Today in the Empire, Crown Prince Wei and Chancellor Lu Kang are happy to announce that relations have been opened between three nations with foreign embassies being established in Jian Ye city. The Crown Prince continues to promote new bilateral relations throughout the region and the world for peace stability and prosperity. The Crown Prince(above) stated: "It is always a joy to sow the seeds of friendship, to feed and nurture until it blossoms into beautiful partnership and we can enjoy the fruits of our hard labor. I look forward to our relationship with Valarustavia, Renetopia, and Rylonia." With the integration of the Indian Princedoms in Northern India and the Arabian Sheikdoms of the southern Arabian Peninsula to the Confederate Empire, the Confederate Council has been restructured to compensate for the incoming representatives of the Princedoms and Sheikdoms. Thus finalizing Sheng influence of the regions. Internal trade has been vastly expanded with the integration of the new regions to the Empire. Economic development of the regions is quickly underway showing good progress. The Imperial Government is showing official support to the Dratzni party of Argent as the legitimate government of the Argentian nation. Her Grand Imperial Majesty is deeply concerned for the well being of both the missing Chancellor of Argent and for the people affected by the terrible war destroying the nation. The Imperial Government is crafting sanctions against the Narodna party in their illegal usurping of power. The Imperial Government is also pleased to see that stability is being returned to Alystan with the beginning of elections, but a strong hand of the military staying near. The Imperial Government hopes to that the new government brings stability and peace to Alystan. Konstantinyan General Andrew Mason recently announced the military's plan to pull out of The Central African Empire after their King issued an order allowing government agents to execute any soldier who spoke ill of the King. Further details regarding the governments plans have been very "hush hush". Though some of our informants have tossed the word invasion around the offices of Konstantinye's capital complex.




On a lighter note, the Konstantinye government has issued an invitation to all nations in Asiana to attend Konstantinye's annual Arrival Day celebration, which had been delayed for about a month due to threats of war from a foreign nation. The Leader of the Democratic Party Ismail Jafar wins elections for President of Alystan, with his running mate Khaled Wissam as Vice President. The Acting President Abdel Rauf Karresh will resign on November 15 and congratulate Ismail Jafar on this occasion. The Democratic Party has formed a coalition with the Worker's Party to give support Ismail Jafar needs. The reactions of Asiana is still yet to come especially from Papait, Sheng China and Alexandr Land, which had a history of poor diplomatic ties since the rise of the Dictator Lionel Mandrake, Mahmoud Hayder and Lord Zero. The inauguration is set on friday when Jafar appoints the Supreme Court of Justice of Alystan.

NEWS UPDATE
Reports just in indicate clashes are taking place between protesters and roit police on the streets of Sevapool ; Crimea .

This began hours after the failed assassination attempt on the life of President Georgy Brezhnev while delivering a public address after a meeting with unionists at Odessa over the ongoing dock workers Strike . The assalate who was captured is believed to be a member of the Crimeanese Seperatist Front , CSF , a group violently advocating for the cessation of Crimea from Valarustavia . Moments after the incident , the govt. released a statement explaining that the president is alright and that the govt. was not going to take the situation lying down .
Then the anti-government protest alledgedly organised by the CSF began about 6 pm local time yesterday with riot police and the army arriving 2 hours later to suppress the demonstration . Current estimates have it that around 25 people have been injured including 3 police men.

Battalions March

After confirmation of relations and support from the Confederate Empire of Sheng China the Dratzni Party held several rallies through their territories to raise the moral of the masses and the troops. Rallies were held in several Dratzni cities with much pomp and celebration.

The largest rally was held in Drakmar, the Dratzni base of operations, in the backdrop of the still burning quarter of the city from recent air raids from the Narodna. Vice Chancellor Miroslav Stankovic (pictured below left) gave the following speech in the rally in Drakmar(pictured below right),

"Let us come together my comrades and eject the traitors from our nation like we had a decade ago. The Narodna claim to fight for you, the people, but they are the same corrupted and bloated officials that had brought such ruin onto Argent. They come back to only reassert their dominance and slavery of the Argentian people to their own devices just as our glorious Chancellor had predicted. Since the Grand Revolution ten years ago the people have been able to remake Argent in their own light with the strength of the Dratzni party and the guiding hand of the Chancellor. Argent is now a nation of all rather than the nation of the few. This is what the Narodna wish to bring Argent back to. Ruled by the pigs and dogs that live off your toil. The party, the voice of the people, say 'NO!' We will not return to that era. We say 'NO!' to the Narodna. We say 'Argent Shall Prevail'. The Dratzni shall be victorious and our fatherland brought back to peace."

Dratzni forces(seen above) bolster and continue their march with arrival of aid from the Confederate Empire and through the rallying efforts with the people. Armies of the Dratzni have laid siege to the fortified city of Pancevo, engaging Darodna forces in a large scale battle over the surrounding area.

The Center Standing on Stilts

Although Narodna officials and Consul Biljana Plavsic is thankful for the support from the neighboring Valarustavia and its acts of humanitarian aid to the suffering peoples of the war torn parts of Argent, the position of the Narodna remains weak.

The treasury of the Narodna is rumored to be dwindling fast having starting out small to begin with. The payment of mercenaries and regular army needs is eating through the coffers at an alarming rate.

On arrival, the Revolutionary Vanguard had hoped to seize the Dratzni parties own coffers fed by the entire nations taxes and military contracts abroad. The Vanguard found though that the coffers and entire treasury of Unitary Republic of Argent was not based in the capital of Zevezda. Sources state that the Republic's treasury coffers were split between the Dratzni stronghold cities of Drakmar, Rednaxela and Zajecar to avoid this exact situation.

The Narodna are now seeking foreign loans and investments in order to fill their coffers again to fight the Dratzni.

Radicals starts a riot against the government to put Alystan in a state of Revolution as quoted by the Radical and the Maoists. The Radicals started trouble as they were on strike and incited the factory and port workers to incite other people to start a insurrection the government. The Radicals used the opportunity of the President-elect Jafar to discredit him in the favor of the replacement of Wissam, a Worker's Party member. Currently, there are 16 arrests by the police. The riot police tried to disperse the protesters on a boulevard in Kilish, the Radicals responded with violence.

In a statement by the Police Comissioner, "We are trying our best to control the situation as to not let the radicals beat us".

The Vice President Wissam stated that he does not intend to fulfill the wishes of the Radicals and the Maoist because he believes "that violence isn't the solution to fulfill your needs and wishes", its by elections.

The President Jafar declined to comment on the riots.

The Workers Party is divided over what actions to pass. The next meeting of the Politburo is set on November 13.

Meanwhile, the Radicals shall continue violence until the gov't gives concessions to the Radicals. No one knows what started the riots, either by foreign communist revolutionaries or by a lone Radical who was fired in a school because he is teaching revolutionary ideals to the students.
