I understand that you cleared this up with an edit, but nonetheless this line unedited is a perfect example of generalization.

Yes, it is from my perspective, but it's not a personal attack under the PPUBA. Bring it up with the mods if you wish.

As said just now, two words................Social contract. You totally miss the point, if somebody posts something aggressive we tell them as a collective to cut it out. It's not about filtering stuff before it is said, its about making sure that once said its made clear the rest of us don't want it.

EDIT: By you I don't just mean you personally I mean all of us as a group.

You've referred to the left as a collective in many negative and sometimes outright derogatory tones. May I suggest that you quit this victimization ploy as it isn't attracting any sympathy, senator.

I am talking about how to make sure people don't get to the point where generalisations are all they feel are worth making. Since they don't feel accepted or welcomed by others and have such things as *LOL (insert piss taking nickname of any political ideology here)* posted daily in reply to reasoned arguments.

It's a non-issue. Lord knows why we're debating about it because people being "biased" is just something that happens.

Get the fuck over it people.

It shows the general bias of the senate. If many members of the senate are biased against libertarians (or rightists) then how will that affect policy? What if the libertarians (or rightists) are correct on an issue but are shunned due to bias? What happens if bad legislation is passed and then must be rewritten once people realize that the right wing were correct? Plus, what other special privileges do the leftists receive besides a double standard of political extremity rating?

That depends on which party/coalition has a majority within the senate. If this is going to turn into another "it's not fair" bitch about you not being able to control things, don't bother going any further.

Oh for fuck's sake. Firstly, there is no "right". Only popular opinion. You have your own beliefs and I have mine. None of them are "right" because "right" is subjective to any particular person. This pretty much goes for your second question and thirdly, what special privileges? We have a majority in the senate and therefore have de facto control over what is passed and what isn't. There are no double standards nor any special privileges. We'd control what passes in the same way you would if your coalition was in power. That's how legislatures function.

1. When I mentioned flaws with legislation, I was referring to ideologically-independent flaws, not opinions...

2. Do you not consider the double standard currently being discussed (Ainin being called center-left whilst I get called an extremist even though we have mirrored political compasses) special treatment?

Why? What have issues such as spelling errors got to do with political control and "bias"?

2. Do you not consider the double standard currently being discussed (Ainin being called center-left whilst I get called an extremist even though we have mirrored political compasses) special treatment?

No, owing to members of the right referring to the left as a collective in negative tones.

No, owing to members of the right referring to the left as a collective in negative tones.

1. I do not mean spelling errors. I am referring to inherent flaws in a bill. I cannot explain it because I am so tired but I will post soon.

2. Not all leftists act that way, but most of the leftists I have spoken to seem to behave in that fashion.

If it's not ideological and it's not literal, then what is it?

2. Not all leftists act that way, but most of the leftists I have spoken to seem to behave in that fashion.

You don't seem to discern between those that act the way you describe and those than don't. I don't think you should tar people with the same brush if you don't appreciate it being done to you.

Laugh if you will, but there are some really good points for what I'm saying.

Some of the questions are slanted in such a way that people choose the libertarian option, while they're actual beliefs are more authoritarian.
