I am talking about how to make sure people don't get to the point where generalisations are all they feel are worth making. It shows the general bias of the senate. If many members of the senate are biased against libertarians (or rightists) then how will that affect policy? What if the libertarians (or rightists) are correct on an issue but are shunned due to bias? What happens if bad legislation is passed and then must be rewritten once people realize that the right wing were correct? Plus, what other special privileges do the leftists receive besides a double standard of political extremity rating?

There are no double standards nor any special privileges. We'd control what passes in the same way you would if your coalition was in power. That's how legislatures function.
