-Stuff: Although they look rather creepy, the Met'Hrosi are a very culturally fluent species, creating many forms of music, art, storytelling, and food. They are capable of making shocks of loud sound and pressure with their outer shell with special reflexive muscles. This effect, combined with a punch or other attack can damage armored vehicles, but can severely injure the Met'hrosi as well

Historical Info: Hladgos was a nation in another galaxy, but way back when they sent colony ships at a time when they were sure the black hoe at the center of the galaxy was becoming unstable. One colony ship, The Unrelenting, lost power to it's communications array after crashing through an area of debris. It made its way here and the passengers decided to simply call their new home Hladgos. They are still trying to establish communication with the other galaxy, but as a result of 450 years passing, they don't know what signal to use.

Culture: Although the three intelligent species have existed together for some time, there is still a bit of mistrust between them, though it is not as bad as it was generations before. Most of the arts of the old nation thry left behind are preserved in the memory of the central computer in The Unrelenting, and is all up for grabs for everyone who knows the codes which are easily accessable. School is one of the primary sections of the government, as it is believed that intelligent children lead to intelligent adults.

Starting out with such a low population may be a rather tough start, but your Info kinda explains why. Though i'd recommend you throw about another hundred thousand in there for your economy to actually work.
