[The Inritus Extraho]

Jade listened carefully to the 'orientation', then froze when Ike asked if she wanted to go into town. Her eyes flicked from Ike, to the leaving Mrs. Du'Pre, to Natalie, back between Ike and Natalie. "Er... I guess, if Natalie wants to?" she said softly. "It's really up to you guys, though..."

Natalie stood up promptly as the lady, Ms. Du'Pre as it was, finished. She stretched, even though she had only been sitting for a few moments. She looked down at Jade and then up at Ike, all with a kind smile. "I'm more than up for it!" She said with a cheery tone. "Who else should we bring?"

Jade watched the other girl stretch - somewhat surprised, but still, she watched - and then shrugged. "I don't really know many other people; we could invite Raven, though it seemed like she was kinda... antisocial..? when I was talking to her before. I'm not sure if she would want to go to town with us." She paused, thinking. "I bet that Mike would also want to go, if only for the experience - he seems pretty outgoing. Th-that's what I think, a-at least...."

[Complectus]

Raven watched and listened intently, and was hardly surprised when the lecture ended. She'd given a speech like the teen had heard about from her father when he was in the Marines. When Miss Du'Pre left, everyone began chattering again. Raven only stood up slowly and picked up her crossbow from the table. Sliding it into the custom holster she'd designed and made herself, she turned to Mik. "Here," she said, then proceeded to take off the shirt he'd let her borrow. "Thanks for letting me use it. I owe you one." She turned away and walked out onto the grounds. The sun was like amber in a pendant of copper as it set on the horizon, giving everything that rich golden glow. She remembered her book again and entered the library. The sweet smell of musty and new books wafted through the air and she noticed the book still laying in the windowsill. She picked it up eagerly and left the building. When she reached the outside, Orpheus dropped down and circled her, cawing. "Oh, it's on!" she dared and dashed through the grounds. She almost ran into someone, she couldn't see who, and raced against her falcon. When she arrived at the room, she slid to a halt. The falcon was just lowering itself to the ground. She wagged her finger at it. "That was a tie." It squawked almost in annoyance. Raven grinned and stepped inside.

[Vesperis]

Nat frowned quizzically. "Well, that was short. And dramatic. Better not teleport onto her, eh?" She laughed. "Anything in particular you guys want to do? I mean, we've got until tomorrow. You know of anything fun to do around here besides school?"

"I heard there was a town not too far from here. We could go visit that if you guys want." John was glad the orientation was over, he was getting restless from sitting so long.

[Nuridia]

"Sounds cool with me, I need something to do with my life. And I need to do something with this hair, it's so fluffy and all over the place." Serenity laughed, she liked her hair but it wouldn't hurt to change up for one day.

"That one looks so good on you, you can keep it." Natalie nodded reassuringly. Plus one the thought drifted through her head and in to the back of her mind. She had a lot to remember for the night, and it would take some work to remember it all. New places and people were always like this. "I have some others, and I know how to make them really easily. "Would you come and watch, Natalie? Please?" she asked, her tone happy and warm. "It'll be interesting, I promise!" Even though I don't know what it's like...

"Advanced combat should be good, though."

Arriving at the airport
Elendil and Artanis Helyanwe

"Hmm, America." Arty said, as he walked down the ramp from the plane, stretching. He breathed in deeply the cool colorado air.

"Yep, land of the free," came the gentle purr of a reply from behind him.

"And the home of the brave," Arty finished, smiling as he finally found the signs pointing to the baggage terminal. The airport wasn't as crowded as they'd expected, but then again this was the western United States. The airport was regular in its appearance, what with its grandiose common ways, lined with Starbucks, and the world-renowned golden arches of McD's around every corner.

Matching each other's pace, the twins continued on towards the terminal to pick up their suitcases. Arty took the moment to appraise his sister, as they walked. She had long blonde hair that fell just past her shoulders, always kept straight and silky by Elendil's vigilant morning attention to it. Nimble and athletically built from years of swimming, her long legs were only more impressive. Elendil caught her brother looking though.

"Like what you see, Arty dear?" she smirked, still looking straight ahead. Arty grinned and shook his head.

"Please, don't flatter yourself. I was merely looking to see whether it was actually you that kept shaking the floor." he returned, only to be immediately countered by his sister.

"Oh for a moment there, I thought you were referring to your stomach… damn pig." she sighed, faking exasperation.

"Oi, Miss Big Boned, you're one to bleeding talk." Arty jabbed back, as he sighted their suitcases. "C'mon, their over there."

The two collected their bags from the conveyor belt and maneuvered their way through the crowd towards animal pick-up. The woman on duty gave a quizzical look as the two teens stood in front of her, on the other side of the small counter.

"Can I help you two?" she asked, kindly, thinking these two must be lost.

"Yes, we're here to pick up Fluffy and Mr. Sprinkles." Arty said, in a confident tone. He had to bite his lip to avoid grinning as the woman stared at him. Something brushed against his leg, and a sharp nip at his ankle.

"You're from the Miami transfer flight from London to Colorado?" she asked, wondering whether these two could explain the queer case of an empty cage being delivered to her near an hour ago.

"Yes, ma'am. Do you have them here? This is where we're supposed to pick them up right?" Arty asked, pinching Elendil's hand out of sight of the lady.

"Sprinkles, heehee." Elendil whispered, staring blankly at the wall while she began chewing on the collar of her shirt.

"Erm, sorry. My sister is uhm, special. Fluffy and Mr. Sprinkles are her… "pets". " Arty said using his hands to form quotes, thoroughly enjoying the ruse. They'd flipped a coin on the plane to see who'd be the special one. Arty had won, much to Elendil's chagrin.

"Oh, I see. I have a niece that same way." the lady said, smiling sweetly at Elendil as she pulled out the paperwork.

"What's your name, sweetheart?" the lady asked, in that slow sing-song type voice that was used for special people.

"Sprinkles!" Elendil exclaimed smiling stupidly, with part of her shirt collar still in her mouth.

"What a pretty name." the lady said, laying down a clipboard on the counter with papers for Arty to sign. Taking the pen she provided, Arty began signing through the papers as Elendil kept up the act.

"Right, here you go." the lady beamed, as she brought out the empty cage. Wheeling it around the counter, she left the cart it was on next to Elendil as Arty capped the pen and laid the clipboard back down on the counter. A sudden brilliant idea occurred to him that an actual smile crossed his face as he turned to look at his twin sister.

"Hey, Elen, why don't we take a picture of you, Fluffy, and Mr. Sprinkles arriving in America?!" he asked her, taking great joy in the grimace that passed over Elendil's face.

"No, Sprinkles doesn't want to." Elendil said, her emerald eyes sharply glaring at his own.

"No, no, I think he does. C'mon really quick." Arty said, opening the cage and mimicked urging out the 'animals' inside. He took out his phone and switched quickly to the camera and started recording.

Elendil showed her gritted teeth at Arty's grinning smile as she turned away from the on-looking woman.

"Sprinkles! Fluffy!" Elendil exclaimed, pretending to throw her arms around the two imaginary animals. "Can you kill Arty for me?" she giggled, madly. The woman chuckled and, after bidding them good-bye, she left through the door behind the counter.

"With extreme prejudice...." came a purred growl from seemingly thin air. "How about you, 'Mr. Sprinkles'?" the voice asked, saying the name with amusement.

"Gladly and with the utmost pleasure, Fluffy." a deeper growl returned also filled with amusement.

Arty laughed and clicked off the recording. "Oh, Fluffy, Sprinkles… I thought you loved me." he grinned, as put his phone back in his pocket and shrugged on his satchel.

"That was until you called me bloody Fluffy." the lighter growl came again, this time emanating from next to Arty's right leg.

"And I, 'Mr. Sprinkles'? I mean really, 'Sprinkles' was the best you could come up with? You are more idiotic than I gave you credit for." the deeper growl added, as Elendil appeared to being petting the air next to her left leg.

"I thought the names were nice, to be honest." Arty chuckled, leading the way towards the cab stop.

His sister waved one down and then, after putting the suitcases in the back, they clambered in. It was a bit awkward having to keep a straight face while their demons sat in the front seat. The cab smelled of old cigarettes, the seats were stained slightly, and their cabbie reeked of B.O.

Thankfully, the ride wasn't too long and Elendil fell asleep during the drive. Arty paid the cab driver promptly, and unloaded their suit cases quickly. As the cab sped off into the distance, two white snow leopards appeared near the twins.

"Hate having to do that." the light growl spoke again, seeming to come from the leopard arching her back.

"Its inhumane." the deeper growl sounded, which came from the other leopard that had sat on his haunches.

"Well you're not human, Dante, so stop complaining." Arty stuck his tongue out at the leopard that only yawned at his childishness. After this brief exchange, the four proceeded into the school.

Arriving at the School

After having visited the office, getting their schedules and room assignments, the two proceeded to their respectful dorms. Arty went off to the boys' dormitory on one side of campus and Elendil to the girls' on the other.

Dante, Elendil's demon, had followed Arty to his dorm room and watched as he unpacked. Taking out his clothes, Arty started stowing them in the wardrobe and drawers then he proceeded to set up his laptop and sign into the school's system.

Elendil had been accompanied by Arty's demon, Leya, to her own dorm. Elendil unpacked and settled into her new room while Leya laid on her bed, her spotted white tail flicking back and forth patiently.

Done settling in, the twins quickly changed into their uniforms and met up again just outside the amphitheater.

"So, what'd you think of the dorms, sis? They could enough for Miss Princess?" he teased, Leya purred amusingly.

Elendil shook her head, rolling her eyes. "Well, seeing as they're the farthest possible from you," she smirked, kneeling down to pet Dante.

"Was uncle Arty mean to my Dante?" she giggled, scratching behind his furry white ears.

"Hm, lacking organization and his packing skills are lacking," he growled, looking guiltily pleased as he saw Artanis sputter with indignation.

"I have never been more offended, I dare say!" Arty exclaimed, faking a haughty tone. "Hmph, my organization is unparalleled and as for my packing skills, there is no competition."

"In you mean winning the worst, there isn't." Elendil laughed, still stroking Dante's head.

Thus the twin's conversation continued as such, with their identical demons occasionally playing on the lawn outside the amphitheater.

[Aona]

Natalie blinked, confused above all hell of what the hell Korra was. She attempted to piece the ideas together, of all the different sports. But it was proving impossible, seeing as she had no idea how to play most of those sports. "Definitely fill me in when you learn, because I haven't the slightest idea."

"I have no clue yet either.. but it sounded interesting, honestly. That's why I'm taking it," said Joseph, grimacing a bit in thought.
"Advanced combat should be good, though."

"Good to know I'm not the only one signed up for Korra," Isaac laughed. Turning to Joseph, he nodded. "Ike. We're roommates, along with Mikael over there." He jutted his thumb to Mik. "Wanna come into town with us, look for supplies?" He looked and Jade and smiled. "The bow looks good, by the way."

"Hey, my disappearing roommates! Good to see you're not going to be absentees. We should all go into town, grab some dinner, pick up some stuff we're gonna need."
He shrugged and looked over Ike and Mikael. They seemed amiable enough, at first glance.

Jade nodded quickly. "Plus, it's a school sport, so I'd bet that you'll get to come watch a match if you'd like." She took Natalie's hand eagerly, though her grip was light - must fit in. "Would you come and watch, Natalie? Please?" she asked, her tone happy and warm. "It'll be interesting, I promise!" Even though I don't know what it's like...

Natalie was surprised as Jade suddenly took her hand. The look in the girl's eyes were that of a sort of desperation. Natalie's internal grin simply turned in to a full out smile, though she tried not to show it on the outside. "Why of course I'll go!" She nodded and held on to her hand before loosening her grip."Sports events are always fun."

"Yeah.....I honestly have no food." Ike laughed. "It'll be good to go shopping find a nice store. The town is little though, so it'll be...um.....quaint."
