Owned by Nikki Louise Lombard, CEO of Avija Valkyr and operating out of Valeria Port Aurora, V.I.P.E.R does one thing and does it well, tasked with the safe, efficient transportation of commuters, VIPER provides passengers with an alternative to airline travel, providing an alternative to the state-operated Transpolar group for passengers and travellers who have entered the country through Valeria Port Aurora International Airport.

Passengers arriving at airport stations served by VIPER Transportation can opt to have bags handled by dedicated baggage staff, both at the station of embarkation and station of disembarkation as well as change points in between.
Need a hotel, not a problem, as you make your way on one of our trains, our dedicated staff will arrange accommodation for you at a hotel of either your choice or one as close as possible to the station in your destination, as well as arranging for transit links to your hotel.
Fleet
As part of Astyrail, Viper Transportation uses the latest generation of high speed rail equipment derived from the Orbis rail systems 2E2-9 type electric locomotives, these 6,000hp electric locomotives are capable of running at 340km/h for sustained periods taking power from overhead AC or DC wires. The coaches are equally high tech steel monocoque coaches for high strength rather than simply light weight which along with their dynamic air suspension, means they have an excellent ride with regards to passenger comfort with each car being air conditioned.
The high speed 2E2-9V trainsets as used by VIPER have 7 seating cars and one restaurant car, laid out with 4 coach class, restaurant car, and 3 first class cars, coach class seating 4 abreast first class seating 3 abreast with fully electric recline systems. Each seat, whether in first or coach class has a power hook up for powering of laptop computers and mobile phones, Being based in the Aurora Confederacy they have 110v DC as well as more common AC voltages, adapters are available free of charge at station kiosks.
Overnight services use specially adapted versions of the 2E2-9 TGV class train, these having all sleeper laid cars with secure baggage storage between each sleeping compartment.
Tickets, Payment and booking
Payment for trips with VIPER is possible by one of 3 ways, There is the traditional cash and card transactions, but also the VIPER card or other e-card from an Astyrail partner.
The VIPER card is a pre-loaded card that is topped up by cash, credit/debit card at stations or by telephone using a credit or debit card. VIPER cards allow you to touch-in and touch out on local trips, as well as buying tickets for long distance trips with a 10% discount over regular cash or card purchased tickets for journeys on VIPER transportation trains, which unlike some travel cards, they can be used at ANY time, peak time or off peak, day or night week day or weekends, and are also valid on international journeys. VIPER cards can also be used to book advanced travel tickets on line, when upon arriving at the station to commence your journey, just place your Viper card on the reader at the auto-vend machine and your ticket is printed off. Being part of Astyrail, VIPER cards and their equivilents from other Astyrail carriers are valid across the Astyrail network, this allows users of other Astyrail equivilent cards to purchase tickets with their Astyrail e-cards, and Viper passengers to use their VIPER cards when purchasing tickets on other Astyrail carriers, whether being in the Aurora Confederacy or not.
Top up a VIPER card by $100 or more in one sitting, or travel using a VIPER card 60 times in one month with a minimum journey length of 100km your card can earn you VIPER points, these Viper points can be used to get a free travel return ticket on an off-peak or weekend travel, 1,000 points for a one way, 2,000 points for a return journey.
Being part of the Astyrail network, VIPER accepts Viper tickets as well as tickets of any other ASTYRAIL carrier, these tickets are printed to a standard format, and valid for scheduled hops on commuter airlines and passenger ferries that are operated by Astyrail connection partners, for parts of Astyria that are seperated by water, allowing total coverage of Astyria.
Where to use VIPER card.
With the Aurora Confederacy having a unified urban transit system, VIPER cards and their Astyrail sister cards such as the Nikolian Railways ЕПКrypta card, can be used on all suburban public transport systems such as the Barentsburg Tram system, Valeria Port Aurora subway system, or the bus networks that serve the cities of the Aurora Confederacy. as well as on VIPER train services. This means that when you arrive at the end point of your journey with us, and need to get to your final destination by bus or metro/subway, your Vipercard or Astyrail syster card can be used for those journeys too, so even if you have not got any Northern Dinars to buy a ticket, you can still get around.
Astyrail cards such as VIPER are not restricted to travel on routes to and from the railway station, but can be used on ANY bus or coach trip within the Aurora Confederacy.
EAT IN STYLE ON THE VIPER
Cuisine aboard VIPER's trains is of the highest standard, no longer are passengers having to put up with lousy coffee and prepacked sandwiches, yet despite the 5 star quality of the food, cooked aboard the trains in the restaurant cars, passengers do not pay high end prices for we at VIPER believe that food should be affordable, as well as enjoyable, so for as little as $5.50, yes 5 and a half bucks, there is a full meal with a hot drink, which can be refilled for free. Payment of the meals can be made with cash, credit or debit cards or even the VIPER card, the same viper card that you used to buy the ticket, and whilst you are purchasing the food on your VIPER card, earn VIPER POINTS to go towards your Vipermiles.
All food onboard is certified Kosher and Halal for those who need to eat items that comform to a specific faith requirement and is fully tracable through the Food Preperation and Location program, and is locally sourced through a dedicated supply chain. Eggs served on VIPER services are also reared free range and in ethically sensitive conditions to ensure the best welfare for the birds that laid the eggs, as well as ensuring the best quality and hygiene standards for the eggs being served.
VIPER INTERNATIONAL PULLMANTravel in STYLE
Travel like a VIP on the Viper International Pullman. Departing Hai'lu'kai daily for Belgrade at 12:00 noon, the service is timetabled to pass through the routes most scenic areas during daylight hours. With 3 sleeper cars, one restaurant car and 4 saloon cars, passengers aboard the Viper International Pullman get to travel like royalty, there is no need to go to the bar, unless you wish to, as our staff will bring meals to you.
Meals aboard the Viper International Pullman are not simply reheated meals but instead cooked fresh aboard the train with ingredients stored aboard the train in two refrigerated cars at one end of the train. To go with the freshly cooked meals, passengers aboard this service can choose from a range of fine wines and spirits, no cheap beers on this service as only the best will do.
Want to relax in your cabin, thats no problem as the beds aboard the service are as comfortable as those to be found in 5-star hotels, passengers wishing to have breakfast in bed need only to mention it to the purser on board, and at the alloted time, the meal will be brought to your cabin.
Security
Just as Airlines have a baggage search, bags going aboard VIPER international services are screened by trained security staff prior to boarding, however unlike airline journeys, there is not the requirement to be at the station 3 hours in advance of your train journey, all bags are screened by the booths along with passengers being scanned by metal detectors, this is in compliance with international travel requirements as laid down by the Auroran government pertaining to air and over-land public transport. Each train has on board 2 security guards, these are part of the civil defence organisation and are easily identified by their uniforms and are responsible for carrying out policing duties aboard the trains.
Passengers wishing to travel international need to have for travel:
Valid Passport (with sufficient time to of validity in order to cover their stay in the country they are visiting)
Valid Astyrail or VIPER train ticket or Vipercard
Passengers travelling intranational must have:

Transportation of the following items are not permitted to be carried on VIPER transportation services:
Firearms, Flamable liquids such as model aircraft fuel or lighter fluid. Alcohol is limited to not more than 1 bottle or 6-can pack of an alcoholic drink not purchased on the train or station, Tobacco is limited to 6 packs of 20 cigarettes, however the smoking of these, or the use of artificial cigarettes is NOT PERMITTED on VIPER services.
