OOC: Simple oversight. I’m temporarily suffering through the usability nightmare that is Windows (I’m not a PC and Windows 7 was apparently one of Oli’s bad jokes), so I may commit more errors—or use more excuses :P—than normal. I don’t consider the final site selection to be important enough to require correction, since omissions can be ICly explained in a multitude of ways (bribery, lack of bribery, uneven floodlighting, insufficient number of television studios, et cetera).

OK, I'm a noobie in TQC roleplay, so I gotta ask: will there be a new thread for the Champions' Cup? When will it start?

There are no new threads for the TQCC and related tournaments, the results are just posted in the main Newswires thread. Usually it starts within a day or two after the draw.

I could do it in NSFootySim... but it would have to be done as a bunch of individual matches and then I would add them all and tabulate etc etc. I just wondered if there was an alternative. I recall reading about one somewhere, but I can't remember where now.

from what i've been told there's no way to do interdivisional play with NSFooty; I had to do what you did with my college gridiron conference tabulating divisions

No, I did not. :eyebrow:

Zarbli wrote:Are the results decided randomly?

As with most competitions, the results are determined by a combination of rank (based on league coëfficients and league position), RP bonus (based on detail of league reports), and a random element.

Odd. I'm sure I sent a TG too regarding the same in lieu of me still not having a working scorinator.

Due to the apparent failures of communication regarding Carpathian and Ruthenian and Weegie entries, the omission of Paripanan teams from the SBCC ( ), the existing late entry from Kelssek, an anticipated late entry from Septentrionia, and any other factors I may be missing, I intend to redraw the preliminary rounds of the TQCC and SBCC tomorrow (i.e., Sunday, 2010-03-14, probably at 02:00). Late entries can be submitted before that time.

Any nation that has a domestic football competition can enter. Simply scorinate your competition (NSFootySim is recommended) and post the results in the International Domestic Soccer Newswires thread, noting who qualifies for the respective competitions.

As a nation new to international club competition, you would get 2 spots in the TakilQuip Champion's Cup (A Champions League equivalent), 3 spots in the Globe Cup (for teams who did not qualify for the TQCC, a Europa League equivalent) and 4 in the Series B Champion's Cup (For teams in the second division of your system).

Didn't miss the teams, only ended taking out your TLC in the list of associations by accident... the teams are there in the draw, as they always were.

Now the TLC is there too.

You can’t enter this edition of the TakilQuip Champions’ Cup or Globe Cup, because they’ve already started. You can, however, enter teams in the next edition, which will be held after World Cup 50, any time between now and then.

OK, I know it's a double post, but I have a question about the TQCC: Can I send as many clubs as I want to the next TQCC or is there a limit based on some kind of coefficient?

I'm asking just because I've just posted an announcement in the NewsWire topic saying I'd qualify 3 teams instead of 2 to the next TQCC, without knowing if I'm actually allowed to do so :P
