[The United Tribes of Vedic]

The Vedic fleet had been decimated, non-stealth air units likewise. Only three aircraft had made it out of the area, and those were the three F-35Cs of The Spirit Hunters. On the transports the craft meant to launch for raids were being used as life rafts, but all of the survivors were armed, unless badly enough injured they couldn't wield a pistol.


The the aftermath, Darius Corda was impaled with a jagged piece of metal that look like part of a radar tower and he was quickly bleeding out, leaving Ashe Astara to command the operation, if they ever made it. It was highly likely that the men and women would be captured if they didn't die fighting at sea. Despite the circumstances moral was actually high, they had managed to survive the first onslaught which they were happy about although 38 were dead, and another 26 badly wounded. The survivors had their assault rifles out, locked and loaded. If they could board a ship and take it, or get around the fleet to Stahn they would. They had their rubber rafts moving quickly trying to avoid the Welguim vessels.

They were beginning to run low on fuel....

The anti-ship missiles from Stahn reached the fleet, and they caused an impact. One frigate exploded right in front of the eyes of the crews of other ships. Next, a destroyer did the same, killing everybody on board. This was the same story for two dozen more ships, and nothing could be done. The missiles that were fired caused huge damage, but approximately half of them were prevented from reaching the fleet due to defence systems.

"SHIT!" Shouted Admiral Downie as he saw and heard the explosions. He knew where the missiles had come from, but he hadn't expected the navy to be in range. "Get us out of here, quickly! Head north east, now!"

The fleet began to increase in speed, hoping to get away from the Stahnese navy. According to the radar, the Stahn fleet was much larger, and so would probably be slower. This was hopeful thinking however, and nothing could be guaranteed.

"This is Twelve vedic tactical Fighter Squadron; copy that, we will heading there as fast as possible, we are running low on fuel so it will be a close call if we make it." Greg was nervous, he had about a half and hour's worth of fuel remaining, he had all his armaments but what good was a crashed plane that had all the armaments needed for battle when it couldn't fly. The F-35Cs flew as fast as the could to the designated area, their paint scheme making them look somewhat blurry.
"The is Demon to Ghast, what are we going to do if we can't make it?"
"The is Ghast, bail out and hope that they can provide aircraft for us."
"That's reassuring..." Demon said over the radio although he had meant to mute himself. The area they were flying over would have been beautiful to fly over if they were in better times, and not hoping that no Macedonian aircraft had followed them.

20 Stahnese fighters reached the Twelve vedic tactical Fighter Squadron. As is normal in Stahn, the Stahnese fighters were piloted by women. They were a bit surprised to see that (some of ?) the Vedic fighters were piloted by males but they knew that foreigners had very different ways and welcomed all allies with open arms.

"Good to see you brothers. We are here to escort you to Stahn. How are you coping?"

"We are in an interesting spot as you have noticed. We started with 6 pilots, now we have three. We have one female pilot with us, but that doesn't matter extremely. If you can lead us to the landing zone it would be appreciated. he changed his frequency back to the squadron's. "This should be interesting for us, I don't think that they can do much with three aircraft, but hey, better then getting shot down over the ocean."
"This is Banshee, maybe they will have some pilots for us to fly with, but if they want to separate us I will not be the one to allow it to happen."
"C'mon Victoria, all nations work in different ways, i noticed that most of their pilots were women, at least from what I saw."
They kept friendly chatter up, trying to keep their spirits up. Even pilots were affected by moral, and not all pilots could cope with the loss of friends, but Greg had learned to, partly because he had lost friends early in his life, when a training aircraft had crashed into his school when he was a kid. Most thought we was mildly depressed, at best, but people who got to know the flight leader figured out that he fought for their remembrance rather than breaking down, as many did...

There was a fury of activity all around the giant naval station.The crews of all the ships that were soposed to set sail were being brought in the station and were runing to their ships. At the gate of the station a Mercedes S 63 amg appeared carring Grand Admiral Boris Petrov to his flagship the command Carrier HIMS Victory.He was reading the situation reports and conversating with his aide Dimitar about the situation with his fleet.
Grand Admiral: I do not like this dimitar.The nimitz have only half of their planes aboard and we are told to move.Oh and mind this we are to set sail ASAP.God help me.
Dimitar: The planes will land at the carriers in 3 hours sir.So thats no problems.The crews are nearly assembled as well.The command carriers were preparing for a training war game and they were at full combat readines so we are prety good.
Grand Admiral: Yeah.Still i would have liked a larger force then this.
Dimitar: I know you would have sir.I know that.
With that said they continued on their way to the command carrier.The crew of the command carriers were doing their ususal preperations for heading in a warzone.

25 minutes later on the deck of the Command Carrier Victory stood the ship captain Ivan Zoric with his XO waiting for the Grand Admiral to board the ship.They knew what it meant to be the flagship of such an campaing.

The 4 officers went up to the bridge as the rest of the crew was opserving what was happening as the first destroyers were already seting sail from the base.

They claim that they have destroyed a fleet that was intending on aiding the Stahnese. We have send a small flotilla to investigate the scene in which the alleged battle took place."

John Hancock added "They have also send 4 diplomats. They should be arriving in our capital soon now."

Then there was a moment of silence. The Queens guests waited for Hedwig the Fourth to give a signal.

After 3 minutes the Queen cleared her throat indicating that she had come to a conclusion.

On cue the general asked

"What is your advice, my Queen? "

Hedwig: "I suggest you receive our guests from Macedonian Grand Empire well. Welgium is in need of strong allies. And Macedonian Grand Empire surely has all the potential to become just that.

The investigation of our flotilla should enable us to reach a conclusion on this.

Also, I suggest that you try again to get the opportunistic lowlifes of the Democratic Republic of Davida involved.

As usual Warlord Gomthog awoke from the pain caused by his burns.

Even with his recent higher dosage of painkillers he takes before he goes to bed, it still only allows him for 5 hours of relatively painless sleep.

Before he went to the bathroom he took a new dose, to get him thru the first few hours of the day, and then went to relieve himself.

There was a little bit of blood in his urine. Gomhtog decided to consult his physician again as soon as his schedule allowed for it.

Then he went to his office. A secretary was already waiting for him at the door.

Aglinean has send a letter to the warlord and Gomhtog was handed this by her aid.

He took his seat behind the desk and read what Prince Benedict had to say.

Then he took the horn of his telephone and called the Vice Warlord and his second in command.

Gomhtog: "Brother Iegres, where are we at?"

Vice Warlord Iegres Vonotirahk: "For now things are going pretty well. Markha Pindot’s United Stahnese Navy has engaged the Britannon fleet and so far has destroyed a great many ships with the aid of our ally New Tyran.. The Britannon Navy has begone to retreat but a large number of our submarines are in their way."

Gomhtog: "Order Pindot to let them go and send ships to pick up all Britannon survivors.

Make sure to tell her they are to be treated well. We all know what a cruel bitch she can be when bloodlust has come over her."

Vonotirahk: "I will take care of that right now."

Gomhtog: "And after she is done there, tell her to head for the fleet of South Rothinzil. And this time she is not to let any ship escape from the all consuming wrath of the Stahnese people. She is to wipe out every last South Rothinzilian within our region.

We will make an example of them and let the world know what happens when people dare to bring war on our glorious nation and such insolence to it’s mighty and infallible leader!"

Gomhtog realized he began to foam at the mouth. The painkillers still weren’t really kicking in and he knew he tended to overreact when he was in such a state.

On the other side of the line all was silent. Vonotirahk was a bit shocked by Gomhtog’s furious rage even though he has seen a lot of it in the past.

Gomhtog tried to calm down and compose himself. Then without taking back anything he said he asked about the situation in Aglinean.

Vonotirahk: "As expected they offered little resistance. Some private individuals have taken a few potshots at our warriors but casualties are low. How are we to respond to that?"

Gomhtog: "Just tell our warriors to be on their guard. They are not to fire on any Aglinean person under no circumstances. Make sure that they are all clear on this. Have them be on their very best behavior. Tell them that any warrior that misbehaves in the nation of Aglinean in any way will have a new assignment as target practice for our firing squads! "

Oops, Gomhtog thought to himself. There is the foam at his mouth again.

He continued.

"After the war is over we will compensate Aglinean for our violation of their neutrality. But for now we will ignore every communication attempts by any Aglinean official.

I will not sacrifice my brothers and sisters for Aglinean’s honor and Welgium’s opportunistic use of them as a unbreakable defensive line.

The Tyrannian Vengeance class battlecruiser NTS Ravager and the Destroyer NTS Swift after driving away the remaining enemy bombers decided to turn their attention on the large Britanno fleet engaged with a sizable Stahnese fleet.

Only the battlecruiser had the capability to fire the capitol ship killing "Sea Wolf" anti-ship-ballistic-missile and the only weapon that could reach the Britanno fleet from this distance. After a moment of preparation and the localization of high value targets with the assistance of the orbiting Tyrannian Naval Ocean Surveillance System one enemy aircraft carrier was selected and marked. The "Sea Wolf" ASBM was fired and started to rapidly climb an altitude of around 70,000 feet before rapidly descending on the enemy aircraft carrier at speeds hitting nearly mach fifteen, only one was fired as stocks of ASBMs throughout the entire navy were scarce but hopefully with a bit of luck the missile should hit home and sink the enemy carrier outright.

Four Ambush class submarines and one Retribution class submarine were on the prowl to sector 1C under the order to sink as many South Rothinzilian transport ships as possible and cause utter havoc. It would be just a few hours before they would be within reach of their enemy however.

Ashe Astara's rubber raft was skipping thru the water heading for the shores of Stahn. To her solid land seemed like it would be heaven compared to the hell that had experienced trying to get to Stahn. They had several close encounters with Welguim vessels when they were manoeuvring through the fleet. They had 146 soldiers who remained combat capable. The rafts with the wounded were the first to land, several of which had died since they had gotten away from wreckage leaving 20 wounded. They buried the bodies on the shore land, and marked the graves with their weapons. (Near E6-E5)


She got a radio operator over to her location, and on an open frequency began speaking in english.
"This is Ashe Astara, member of the Daughters of War. 166 of my Vedic brothers and sisters had arrived, although only 146 of us are combat capable. The previous force commander died after one of our transports exploded. This is Ashe Astara out."

"Sister, I will fight with you as I did Darius in the mountains of our homeland." the man named Kevin said to her in Vedic, obviously saddened.
"Brother, there's a time to mourn, and a time to fight, there will be a time to mourn after the campaign." Her voice didn't belong in a war zone, and her elegant form didn't either. In Vedic had she chosen to continue on and get a job it was likely she would have been quickly hired as a model or anchor for a show or even an actress.

The troops maintained small talk waiting for a reply, their moral was somewhat lower but their Zealous nature was not going away.

The Red Fleet had arrived at the designated landing zone. The 200,000 troops, tanks, artillery pieces and everything else departed the landing craft. The troops quickly formed a beachhead, and then advanced to the capitalist held city in the South of Inporvia. The destroyers and cruisers launched missiles into the city, while fighters and bombers took off from the decks of the carriers (The carriers are big enough to launch bombers), the objective was to destroy infrastructure and the enemy capability to fight back the red army. The 5 1000mm artillery guns they had would be put to use when they got to the city.

Admiral of the Fleet Shürrle of the 4th Imperial Fleet had assembled his most senior naval officers on the flagship of the Virdalonjan 4th Imperial Fleet,the VIS Fingolfin. He had received the encoded message from the Warlord Gohmtog of Stahn requesting that the fleet of South Rothinzil was a top priority, however the bulk of the Virdalonjan Battleships were some distance away. He was to order the movement of troops down the Western coast of Impovria In order to place ground troops on Stahnese soil.

Having formed his plans in his head Shürrle strode into the bridge of the Fingolfin with arrogance and authority. Immediately the officers assembled snapped to a rigid attention and gave the straight armed salute of the Virdalonjan Armed Forces.

"Relax gentlemen" said the Admiral. "The fleet is to be split into two forces. The first will be placed under the control of Grand Admiral Götze and will proceed down the Western Coast of Impovria with the bulk of the ground forces to establish a beachhead on Stahnese soil and to protect the country. The second will be under my control. This group will contain the bulk of our naval forces and our primary objective is to destroy the South Rothinzil force approaching Stahnese territory. The break up will be as follows;
The entire force from map co-ordinate 1-A will advance to attack the South Rothzillian fleet along with 100,000 troops, 1000 tanks, 2000 support vehicles, 1000 fighter planes and their transports from map co-ordinate 1-B. This will form my command. The remaining force will advance down the coast to deploy in Southern Stahn and will begin to organise defences."

The Admiral of the Fleet turned and nodded to Captain Guderian. "Dismissed!" bellowed the Captain. With one final salute the officers made there ways over to their commands, there was a lot to do.

We are allies with your forces, and would like to clarify that we ARE allies with Stahn, and would like to destroy democracy. I have ordered my forces to attack Davidia from the North, because, as you said, they are filthy rich and we can gain spoils of war. I have ordered my Navy to C-1, and hope the South Rohinzilian fleet is destroyed. However, I am also involved in Lolloh, and may not be able to commit as much as I would like to this war.

400 planes and 80 heavy bombers took off from the decks of the giant carriers. 30 cruise missiles also were launched, this time from the destroyers and cruisers. They all hoped the South Rohinzilian fleet would be destroyed....

Grand Admiral Götze was furious. He had been ordered to advance down to Stahnese territory and establish a defensive perimeter against hostile forces and had been making good time, until his orders had been overridden by Admiral of the Fleet Shürrle and ordered to return to A-1 and await further orders. He had been given the official reasoning for this command, that transgression into neutral states was not permitted and how Stahn saw his actions as 'suspicious'. Once the South Rohinzillian fleet had been destroyed, he would have words with the Admiral of the Fleet, and perhaps even with the Minister of Defence.

"All ships are ready for battle sir" reported Rear Admiral Kroos. "Your orders Admiral?"

Admiral of the Fleet Shürrle turned to face Kroos for the first time. "Do not engage the South Rohinzillian fleet with our full force, get the Chair Force to finally do something and Harry them with bombers. Get Mohnke to raise the Red Star Admiral, if we can launch a combined attack on the South Rohinzillian's we will crush them, and take fewer losses ourselves."

11:10 p.m CSRT (Central South Rothinzilian Time)

The South Rothinzilian Navy were quietly moving towards the territorial waters of Stahn. The Navy soldiers were carefully observing the radius and the horizon, looking out for enemy ships. Everything seemed quiet and the risk of ambush actually seemed low. However, deep inside, the South Rothinzilians still felt paranoid and believed that they might get attacked any moment. The enemy just could not repeat the same mistake twice and actually not take care of defence, knowing that the South Rothinzilian Army and allies were preparing a second invasion, after the first withdrawal. Even though it seemed illogical, but the S.R Army actually hoped for a second successful and bloodless invasion, just like the first time.

Despite the quiet environment, the S.R Marines still felt a slight sense of anxiety, despite the South Rothinzilian military having an international reputation as a brave army, without a fear of war. Just as the South Rothinzilian Marines relaxed a little bit more, the calm moment was quickly disrupted by an unexpected attack from the enemy forces.

The Marines noticed a line of missiles, coming in from the distance and heading towards the South Rothinzilian Fleet like rain towards the ground. Even though the incoming attack was already visible from the distance and was not heading in a very great speed, it was very difficult to change the position of the warships and aircraft carriers quickly enough, in order to avoid the missile hit. The enemy missiles were fired in a very carefully calculated trajectory and were made sure to hit the targets.



Even though the marines were able to move away the ships and the aircraft carriers from the missile landing spot, it was still impossible to save all the Navy fleet. Since the enemy missiles were fired at a wide radius, they were able to hit some of the South Rothinzilian fleet, including aircraft carriers.

After the attack, the Navy began too regroup and split themselves into groups, heading towards different directions. The lighter warships increased their speed and started heading quicker towards Stahn. They knew that the Stahnese land had to be reached quick, before a second missile attack from the enemy. The Navy knew that the entire war progress depended only on them. It was their job to clear the path for the South Rothinzilian soldiers in order to carry out a successful invasion.
