Mincaldenteans, you do know that Romulans would have access through mines right since they are ones who allowed it to be set in first place?

Oh, I must have misread that, oh well. That does make things easier thought . But the finer details of making things difficult for the Feds and Klingons still stands, because you know, Romulans are fickle bitches that way. :P

I have to say unconfirmed. If I didn't, I'd be metagaming :P

So far, all I can say is that the Feds and the Klingons have been most busy in the neutral zone... which if I decide to press the matter, the Klingons were not invited to begin with and the Feds were only tolerated for its agreement to a join venture: it said nothing about crossing the NZ multiple times or inviting other powers.

Such a violation of the established treaty could be considered an act of war. One Hiren is thinking about unless overtures are made.

Still funny concerting the tholians are the most mysterious of the Star trek universe.

Technically speaking, Megsamasers and Turbolasers are misnomers. Both use high-energy gas as ammunition, activated by a power cell and converted into plasma. The plasma is released from a magnetic bottle effect to fire through collimating components as a coherent energy bolt

You know, proposal made to dominion still applies to Romulans as well: We only fight in our universe. In other universes, we have non-aggression pact but still can use proxy governments to fight for us. If we have a deal...

Also, a Light Turbolaser can output at least 22,500 TW to 500,000 TW of energy. The Heavy Turbolasers can output 2.8 million TW. This is compared to the equivalent to the average 30,000 TW Phaser output.

Plasma weapons are technically worst than lasers. Plasma weapons, in form of phase cannons were used by starfleet in 22nd century. Shields are supposed to protect against kinetic damage (such as high energy gas) so using pure energy is much more effective against them.

The point is, your phasers output 30-40,000 TW. The average turbolaser, up to 500,000 TW. A heavy turbolaser, nearly 2.8 million TW. Also, those horrid continuous beam phasers you use were actually replaced in star wars galaxy by blasters. But alas, the great OP has forced these technologies to be equal.

Your turbolasers will still be more powerful then phasers and most disruptor.

Pure energy values only tell the half the story. Photon torpedoes have explosive yield of 179,751 TW but they are as useful as nuke against shields. Use them against a hull, and result is devastation but they have little to no effect against shields because shields are designed to counteract matter. In star wars universe, it makes sense because well... they are more focused on hull. In star trek, if shields drop, you run so things like plasma/ kinetic weapons dont really mean much.

Our entire argument means little, as our weapons are operating on the basis of equality.
