I shall wait for whether the UN shows evidence Assad did it or not, as I do not have faith in the Security Council. How well did Russia and China act to Britain's Syria resolution draft?

Then you are in no position to act based on international law if you yourself will not follow it! You are as bad as the President of the United States!

Exactly, surly he should be sure you can even carry out such a plan. Since we don't have a blue water navy is there anything you can even do?

My legal advice states that humanitarian intervention would be the basis for any military action. I believe that is sufficient enough to intervene, just like the UK government's legal advice team does.

Oh, I ICly have no idea what's going on now. The MoD doesn't even support intervention here.

So, that's a no. We don't have an aircraft carrier, we have a green water navy.

You won't be running an operation though. You're a minister, not a general.

You won't be running an operation though. You're a minister, not a general.

So basically... You ignore the advice of the MoD utterly, ignore the will of senators, refuse to put it to vote, side-step the MoD utterly, and then head straight to the Army to use your powers to go to Syria, regardless?

I am a supporter of the government, but I will not support the president on this. His priorities are all wrong.

No. I listen to one of, if not the most, the most important organisations in the world, the United Nations. If they provide evidence that Assad has used chemical weapons, I feel it is my duty as a world leader to authorise some small military intervention.

Have you not realized that the President does not give one damn about the will of the Aurentine people or Senators. He does as he wishes regardless of what anyone else tells him or advises him to do. He even feels that he should be able to bypass international law!

You listen to the United Nations except when you go to war. Then you bypass the United Nations. You don't listen to them, you use them as an excuse to go to war!

I have motioned to move debate to the miscellaneous category in the chamber so we can vote on a bill (REA 2) which allows recalling the president without CoS approval first. If you want to help, please second the motion. We need ten seconds.

Ignore the heck out of that, it doesn't count since we have no Harriers.

We have an AHD, thus can fight expeditionary Warfare to an extent whereby 'x' is less than the UK.

Seems like it, when will the whole of the senate realize that our president is only in it for himself?
