No problem. More blood for the blood god. You still need to solve the issues of fuel consumption (and secured fuel sources), though. Despite having the capital to make your tanks, they also take time to do so. A "Tank Race" caused by raising your number would inevitably cause Germany, and every other power armed with tanks, to build up large forces, and German can beat you in production number quite easily.

Also, your population seems to be a bit high. It's historically 110 million. Again, how are your people faring under an Imperial regime? The French love democracy and Republicanism.

He won through Democracy, then showed them how incompetent the government was, and proved he was more better (intentional error there).
And i'm keeping my pop at 99 or so, since you just bought Indochina, which i believe you said had a pop of 21 million or so.
And Germany is just getting out of its depression from inflation, i've had awhile to get onto the recovery track. I'm sure i could turn a couple of those useless consumer goods factories into tank factories :p

Ah, okay. At least he didn't go all Napoleon III style, then there'd be problems. So, he is elected benevolent dictator for life?

If Germany is recovering from a Depression, shouldn't we all? Did the Great Depression even happen?

I think the depression happened, it has been mentioned in posts. We need to ask the OP about that.

The thing is, most countries aren't in the position to recover the way Germany did, meaning that most of ya' would still be feeling the effects of the depressions.

Yes, and the Emperor managed to break free of most of it. I only say that about Germany because of the crazy inflation that happened. But yes, he is. He's not completely Fascist, nor communist, nor anything else. He does what i do, take the best parts of every political ideology, if there are any, and combine them. No one can hate him for his party, because he doesn't have one. It's ingenious, isn't it?

Tyben, your country had ludicrous inflation. I think at one point something like 2.4 billion reichsmarks was like one USD or something crazy. Honestly its a miracle Hitler did it in just three years. No one else suffered inflation like that, dear god that's terrifying.

But i'll bite, i think we should all include (at least, europe, really, and Americas, since i'm sure about asia and the GD), some sort of recovery, because even my awesome Emperor can't save us from every facet of the GD. Just, hopefully, the worst of it.

I'm interested, Tyben, to see how you handle the inflation issue.

Alright, if it did, China could totally pull a Soviet Union since the Nationalists have been in power since the Sino-Korean War. I'll write up a history about it!

I think Tyben had Fascism seize power earlier, so, realistically, he can free himself from it. You yourself had 17 years to do something, and he could (realistically) have the same time if his party came to power right after the First World War.

Your idea is not ingenius. It just shows that your Emperor is weak and open to outside influences. You should have a strong leader to guide your people. Everyone can hate him because he's an autocrat, Royalist, and Monarchist, for which the French people have been known to overthrow, execute, and what not. So again we see how truly perfect the French state is.

Inflation? 1936 in Germany? The USD was worth 2 to 4 Reichsmark in this era, maybe you are referring to hyperinflation in the 1920s when the Weimar Republic was in place, but the currency was then declared valueless when the Nazis rose to power and the new Reichsmark was instated.

Edit: Not when the Nazis rose to power, earlier in 1924, sorry ^.^

Well, maybe for the first year or two, but the leaders at the time actually just declared the old currency valueless, and made a new one. The economy rapidly stabilized after that. But the currency swap was done in 1924 and without the Great Depression to hold Germany back, the economy should have been recovered by the time the Nazis strolled in. By fine and dandy I mean suffering, but not as bad as it was irl.

I'm still going to have China come through with pre-war Soviet-style economics if the Great Depression happened. China's industry was pretty well off by 1900 due in part to Sun Yat-sen (and the previous Qing attempts), and accelerated between 1897-1910 due to the Sino-Korean War, and probably planned by the KMT for a while after that, but overall a mixed economy.

Very interesting force. Is your military mainly Army-centric or Navy-centric, as it seems most of your air force is lacking (but most people's are at this time)?

Navy-centric for sure. Most, if not all, of my neighbours are friendly so a modern army isn't much of a necessity. International trade is very important for Brazil, so keeping the South Atlantic open is a must.

Awesome indeed. My military is very Army-centric, but retains a powerful Navy designed mostly to combat the Korean Naval Forces (as that would be our most likely combatant force, and is generally seen as the most powerful in East Asia). Overall, I'd like to say I'm balanced with a ranking of above average to good. My Army is dominant because we'd have to fight a land war against Korea, Russia, France (not anymore however), and India, all of which could field a large, well-equipped force (India not so sure, thank you, Tibet) and poses the most realistic threat.

I love trade, but the internal development of China from the Sino-Korean War allows us to a rather well-developed economy for the time, especially for a large, populated nation like China. I'm going to describe my economic history after 1900 soon, though.

Yeah, that's generally been the problem with the Chinese military. They have to sink so much money into the army because they have such large frontiers surrounded by powerful enemies. That's why they've always put emphasis on diplomacy, they knew they couldn't face them all alone.

Not much. Post in the IC thread a bit. France is still gearing up to start a war, with everyone getting mad that Germans are responding to it. China recently bought French Indochina, and everything is still Eurocentric.

Hey Brits, we going to have IC reason as to why you have Oregon territory?

Eh I am still here. So don't just assume California will join you like that.
You can call me Easy-E or Eppie if you want but you can if you are really lazy call me Ep.
I am Spanish so don't ever expect me to have anything close to perfect grammar.

Well I believe originally the UK colonized it, and then sold/gave it to the US to prevent future conflicts, probably due to an agreement saying 'you can't colonize below XXX longitudinal line'.

On the GD, I'd suggest most nations would suffer with perhaps exceptions of nations who mentioned how they solved it, though even then it would still effect them. For example, the ICF managed to keep Australia, Canada and South Africa - who are now among some of the strongest economies in the world. It'd still be effected, quite harshly, but it would be able to get out of it easier.

And Winston is the best greatest.

EDIT: ALSO I HAZ OIL! My Nigerian puppet... plus like Arabia n' shit.
