Hmm, then why does the USA nothing against this system, if its symbolisies everything it doesn't stand for?
Afterall, if the USA is truly the strongest and the best country in the world (you know, the greatest of them all, are theUltraUnited States) and no possible ally of North Korea could stop them from bringing FREEDOM to the people, they could have invaded it years ago.Aimed at these people who have said everyones dependent on the USA.
Is there a sarcasm mode in BBcode?

They worry enough over their million miles of border with Russia. I don't think they would respond well to four US carrier groups in the Yellow Sea or a few hundred thousand US soldiers on their border.
And considering what happened last time we went to war with the Chinese, I would say that's something to avoid.

That's because we didn't use nuclear weapons, which would have been the time to do so. We could have laid waste to their major cities and not worry about retaliation. Their only advantage over us, both then and now, are their numbers, and their sheer ability to overwhelm us on the battlefield.

And I'd say that not nuking China was probably a good thing. Setting a precedent like that at the start of the cold war probably wouldn't have made it any nicer.
And THEY have nuclear weapons now, which can reach the most populous state in the US, at least. Are you willing to bet the population of California that we can take out the Kim regime without China noticing?

Well actually I live in Seattle, you know not too far from McChord? Fort Lewis? A naval station or two?
With that said, we could launch a preemptive strike and destroy most of China. They'll probably get off a few missiles that will devastate the west coast, but that's a a sacrifice I'm willing to make. The ends justify the means, and to paraphrase Nietzsche, there is some reason in madness.

Seattle is an awful place and you should feel awful for living there.
The principle of mutually assured destruction is that China would not just get off a 'few' missiles. You have plenty of warning when the nukes start flying, considering travel time and so forth. China would get off ALL of their launch-ready missiles. They would probably hit Japan and South Korea too, as major US allies, and might even just say "fuck it" and launch all of their missiles regardless of target, since everybody else would probably start launching theirs once they got word that Beijing was going to be turned into a glass crater.
