Declaration of the Krianian-Paroomian Alliance

Provisions

The nations of Kriania and Paroom, by signature, do hereby solemnly conform to the following terms:

-Both nations will acknowledge each other as mutual, autonomous states.

-Both nations will, voluntarily, conduct business and trade on a regular basis.

-Both nations will aid each other when at least one is involved in war or any similar conflict.

-Both nations will have a "ceasefire" relationship, thereby establishing peace between each other.

-The above statement also applies to friendly nations of either party.

-If either party rejects and/or violates any of these terms, this contract (and subsequently, this alliance) will be both null and void at the behest of the other nation. If not null and void, both this contract and this alliance will be put on a standby basis for a specified amount of time.

Failure to follow these terms will result in the immediate termination of this contract and the alliance.

"Yes, we will Minister Zuvov. I am positive this will prosper." said President North as he offered his hand to the Minister for a handshake.

Delighted, North pulls 2 chairs from underneath a small table. The table, a gold-trimmed mahogany wood, was going to be used to sign the treaty.

Hours of political ramblings had passed, and the deal was struck. Now it was time for the personal things.

"So, Minister. How has your visit been so far?" North asked politely with his hands together.

"Here." says North as he hands the box to him. "Lock it up inside of our National Archives."

North then turned his head to Zuvov. The sunlight, though piercing the window adjacent to the mahogany table, was mostly blocked by the swarms of Paroomian citizens witnessing history in the making. It was fortunate that the walls were soundproof.

"How is your nation of Kriania? I've heard about your citizens' fierce patriotism and social equality. It must be an honor representing your homeland." said North. "I am ecstatic about meeting your leader!"

North rose from his seat, encouraging Zuvov to do the same.

North chuckled heartily. His exposed glistening teeth reflected some of the choked sunlight.

"Just you wait! The tabloids are going to be all over us as soon as we step out." said North. "Get ready for the confetti and balloons!"

The men proceed to exit the Grand Hall, and just as North said, it happened. A multitude of people, mostly natives of both Paroom and Kriania, roared in joy as a shower of confetti and balloons colored according to the nations' colors speckled the ground and sky. A ring of bodyguards surrounded the diplomats as they walked down the marble steps of the Grand Hall, making sure nobody made any unnecessary contact.

One surprising event was several feet ahead: a small child, holding two miniature flags of both nations, had somehow stepped out of the crowd.

"GINA!!! GET BACK IN HERE NOW!!!" shouted a woman that resembled the child, most likely her mother.

One bodyguard said to North: "Sir, we have a little girl standing in the way. What do we do?"

"I'll handle this boys!" said North. He approached the girl and crouched down to her level. "Hey sweetie! Are you enjoying yourself?"

The shy little thing nodded in agreement. Her brown locks covered her tiny eyes. She spoke, albeit nervously.

"Y-y-yessssir. My m-m-mommy took me here. Sh-sh-she told m-m-me that I'm the first P-P-Paroomian-Krianian in the family, and that it was important for me t-t-to come down here." She smiled to some extent.

That warmed North's heart. "Little lady, you're special. Remember that, and all your wishes and dreams will come true!" He escorted Gina to the spot where she left her mother.

"I hope she wasn't any trouble, Mr. President." said the mother.

"Nonsense! She's fine! I told her to hold on to her dual heritage; faith in yourself takes you far." he said. He rewarded Gina with a booklet on the region's history. "Keep it safe!"

"I'm on it, sir." replied Garcia.

Both users logged off, and North turned his attention back to Zuvov. "Don't worry. Kriania has Paroom's full support."
