The offensive continued. Ryusnenkaian forces used BM 21 GRAD rocket launchers to provide cover for attacking forces. Soon rain of rockets begun to rain on Karattian soldiers while Ryuskenkaian army Wave after wave begun their attack. To provide suport in escort of Ryuskenkaian most elite airborne batalion flying in Su - 47 fighters flew Tu - 160 strategic bombers. Karattian soldiers would have serious problems in withstanding this.

The leaders of the Karattian Republic issued an executive order to the troops in China, and there was only one word in the message- Retreat. The 200,000 soldiers, many of them tired and out of ammunition, would activate and throw whatever grenades they had left at the Brissian troops, and then they ran away from the battle, back over the border. The tanks fired all the ammo they had left, and then they retreated. Many of the soldiers dropped their weapons.

The Brissian soldiers stood still, ignoring everything around them. The gigantic Brissian war machines ceased their fire. And then, a low roar started coming out of their throats. The Brissian looked at the backs of the retreating army. Those were the men who threatened to own them, to destroy them, to rape their women, to enslave their children. These were men that threatened the might of Brissia. And now these men were pathetically retreating. The Brissians were too tired to chase them now. But they will come to get their revenge. They will come, ripping apart the Karattian military until the end of this war. In a couple of hours, all corpses and weapons were picked up. A total death count of 20,000 troops fell to the Asian hordes. But no matter. They won this battle.

Soon enough, a message was sent to army fighting the Ryu invasion. They also retreated into southern Karatt.

Meanwhile, a message was sent to the leaders of Ryu and Brissia:

Hello. I wish to inform you that while this war was going on, a series of revolts occurred across Karatt, and the socialist government has been brought down. President Arnestad and the entire government has been placed under arrest, and they will all be executed on live television, and the videos will also be put on the internet. Anyway, I wish to apologize for the stupidity of the socialist government and them thrusting this entire country in the war and causing lives to be lost. Therefore, I am announcing the official surrender of the United Socialist States of Karatt to Ryuskenkai and Brissian forces, and that this war is over. The Karattian Republic will replace the socialists as the government of this country, and I hope we never again see political turmoil such as this.

The Brissian army was still mobilized, expecting the revolt to be a bluff. Nevertheless, this letter was sent to Daniel Wu:

I am thankful that Karatt has come to it's senses, and has ended this wasteful and deadly conflict. I am open to peace talks, although I must say that I must ask for some things for peace to be. My country requires preparations from your government treasury. These reparations will be used to fix equipment, pay the families of dead soldiers, etc.

I also can make a small proposition. In fact, I have two. 1. If you want, you may give me some of Karatt's owned territory instead of paying in money. If a substantial amount of land is given, all debts will be rendered null and void.
2. Instead of killing all communists, force them to immigrate into Brissia. This will prevent the death of many people, while achieving the required goal of ridding Karatt of their ideology. I promise that we shall deal with them as their crimes require.

We plan to pay you in money, but first, we must break into the Karattian Treasury Complex, which is not located in the capital. The socialist government put it on lock-down shortly before the war began. We are going to have to torture the leaders of the treasury department in order to get the access codes, and if not, we will just blow a hole in the wall. Then we will pay you. As for the communists, they will not be killed or forced to leave the country. They will only be killed if they cause trouble or try to revolt. As for President Arnestad and the socialist government, they must die. We can't allow them to try and pull these stunts again.

Republican Guard soldiers, dressed in civilian clothes and wielding AK-74's, greeted vice president Won. They escorted him into a limo, and the limo drove downtown.

The limo arrived at a large skyscraper that was close to where the Karattian government buildings used to be, and it was placed under government control to act as the temporary HQ for the Republican government. Two Karattian flags hung on the entrance to the skyscraper, and the military had the roads near the building blocked off. In front of the skyscraper were Republican Guards, dressed in civilian clothes, and KAF troopers, dressed in their normal combat armor. They all had rifles strapped to their backs. Fighter jets flew overhead, ad well as helicopters utilized by the military. A Republican Guard stepped up to the limo and opened the door, allowing Won to step out.

[New Yuktobania]

It would seem from a shallow perspective that the war had been brought to a close. A falsehood as the Yuktobanian ground forces maintained their mobilization efforts towards the southern border. Several hundred T-90s, as well as an assorted variety of different vehicles, made their way through the highways connecting the cities of the eastern region of the Federation together. Railroads were used to transport other equipment and materials quickly towards the front, as well as transport craft which moved absolutes essentials faster to their destination. It was truly an operation that demonstrated the Federation's capacity to mobilize and allocate resources as they needed.

Reasons for the continued mobilization were varied, but mostly concurred on one view. Even if it meant shedding the blood of her fellow countrymen, she was determined to hold steadfast to her policy of maintaining a favorable regional situation.

An ultimatum would be sent to the newly formed Republic prior to any action.

Communique from the Yuktobanian Federal Government Esteemed Leader, Due to the hostile actions recently taken by the nation of Karatt against her neighbors, actions seen as deplorable by the international community, the administration of the Yuktobanian Federation has decided to take direct action against this. However, noting the current transition from a socialist to a freer form of governance, the Federation forces will not violate the sovereignty of Karatt if they are allowed to enter peacefully and without incident. Her Excellency the President only wishes to maintain a peaceful relationship with all nations neighboring the Federation; and her, as well as the rest of her government, only want to end this without any more blood being shed. Brissia, suffering the most casualties during the war, was still very careful and suspicious of Karatt's new government. Once the trio of planes reached the Karttian border, a signal was sent out, asking to enter the air space.

We sincerely apologize for the stupidity of the socialist government in this recent war, however I will tell you this: the people did not want this war in the first place. However, they did want a republican government, which is why we are now in charge of the country. I can only hope and pray that this government lasts, as we cannot afford another collapse in social stability. As for your forces, we cannot allow them to enter our borders. Our people will think they are invading the country, and plus the people would be uncomfortable with having foreign troops in Karattian borders, and we cannot afford for them to spaz out. I am sorry if this angers you, but we cannot allow it.

They would receive a signal, saying that they were allowed to enter the border, and they also said that a small squadron would escort them to Kora City for safety measures. Four fighter jets would arrive, surrounding the three Brissian planes, and they would escort them to Kora City.

With him were two guards: their armament consisted of one AK-103, one semi-automatic Uzi, and a Glock handgun. The pilots of the two F-22's began checking their planes for any damage.

"What the-" the driver said, before a rocket clipped the tank on the right and slammed right into the limo. The limo flipped over several times before coming to a stop. Meanwhile, several rockets struck the tanks, and they were heavily damaged. Rockets struck the helicopters above, and they came crashing down. Republican Guards and KAF forces nearby rushed to the scene.

One of the KAF officers yelled,"There is no war going on here. It must have been a terrorist attack." And then, another rocket would come from the right of the officer, and it impacted one of the nearby buildings, causing a massive explosion. The KAF officer looked up, and saw men dressed in black clothing on the roof of one of the apartment buildings. They appeared to be holding rocket launchers. "THERE! GET THEM!!" the KAF officer yelled. The Republican Guards and the KAF soldiers took out their assault rifles and opened fire. One of the men went down, and he fell off of the roof and onto a car. The others fled.
