Cormac is the Pharaoh and the Delegate-elect. Douria has the office of the Delegacy, and controls Osiris by force, but has no legal status in Osiris.

So let me get this straight. The Pharaoh is the honorary term for the Delegate of Osiris; except when the Dourian Embassy is the Delegat, then the Pharaoh is Cormac. Right?

No. Pharaoh is the title for the person who is voted to lead the region. The position of in-game delegate is one that the Pharaoh will hold after he is elected to be Pharaoh. Holding the WA delegacy is not a requirement for becoming Pharaoh.

Yeah, the real difference is that the Osirian Constitution takes the power of the ingame WA's away, and hands it to the Pharaoh. It specifically outlines that the fake offsite government leader has the right to the ingame delegacy.

Yes well, considering I was never shy about expressing those views I think it's pretty funny someone would elect me leader of an offsite.

And really, the belief that natives don't exist seems pretty consistent with my current views about the legitimacy of the offsite leadership.

I may dislike gameplay as a rule(and hate raiding/defending), but at least I've done a little bit of everything now.

I think it's pretty safe to say that it's unlikely you'll be holding a delegate's position in any other GCRs in the future given the way you've acted recently.

Yes. That would be a fair conclusion. What I'd love to say here is "But of course I never would've done this had I intended to hold such a position again," but I don't know if we oughta be covering all of the blindingly obvious statements in our posts.

And that said, I still hold a delegate's position in a GCR. It's not going anywhere. You can keep up the "attrition" attacks, and hope for demoralization, but at some point you're going to realize that this is not going to go away any time soon.

Nev told us (whether she actually did it or not) that she'd changed your password to lock you out of your account, a move in advance of what we were told was likely going to be a Gatesville Inc withdrawal from Osiris (in response to you having allegedly lied to them).

Instead Gatesville Inc decided to stay in. Remarkably good job at playing them btw, if it is all true.

Statement from the Pharaoh of the Kemetic Republic of Osiris
Regarding the "Osiris Imperium"

As many of you will have already noticed, the lackluster invaders from Gatesville Inc have appointed Durkadurkiranistan (AKA John Ashcroft Land, or JAL) as the new "Governor Imperator" of Osiris and have established a colonial offsite forum and regime. Naturally, the Gatesville Inc flag flies on this forum and there is nothing truly Osiran about it. Much like the occupation that has preceded it, this new forum and illegitimate regime lack any imagination or any basis in the roots of this region's history or culture.

There is absolutely nothing to fear from this new forum or its colonial puppet regime. Let me tell you why.

In February 2012, I began my time in NationStates in a region called Exshaw. When I discovered Exshaw it was a thriving region, eventually reaching more than 600 nations at its population peak -- though I later learned this was due entirely to an auto-TG script. As time progressed, I realized that the Founder of Exshaw, Durkadurkiranistan, was incredibly lazy and unwilling to put any actual effort into the region he had founded. For most of Exshaw's brief history I and a handful of others picked up the lazy Founder's slack, until auto-TG scripts were once again banned, we decided to depart for a new region, and Exshaw collapsed. Today a region that once had more than 600 nations has only 37, and its Founder, the man who calls himself our "Governor Imperator," recently left it abandoned and vulnerable for 19 days -- all because he was too lazy and too indifferent to notice that the Founder nation had ceased to exist.

This is not the first time Durkadurkiranistan has abandoned a region under his leadership. He did the same thing to The Imperial Legion, leaving the Founder nation in the hands of a tyrant who mercilessly bullied and banned other citizens of the region until he too abdicated the throne to Gavin Novawk. Novawk, in turn, handed The Imperial Legion to Onder Kelkia as a colony of The Land of Kings and Emperors, and it remained a largely ignored colony until it was granted independence through the diplomatic efforts of our own Medjai Guardsman, Ambroscus Koth, and myself. Today, The Imperial Legion is a sleepy but safe region of just 17 nations, safe primarily because the Founder nation remains in the possession of Ambroscus Koth rather than in the hands of the lazy, reckless, and indifferent Durkadurkiranistan who was its original founder.

Throughout his time in the NationStates world, Durkadurkiranistan has demonstrated that he is only interested in and capable of achieving transient destruction. Whether we look at his purges of The North Pacific, his reign over Lazarus, his complete abandonment of The Imperial Legion, his negligence of Exshaw, or his recent joint participation in the coup against The South Pacific, we see someone with a pattern of putting no effort into any region unless he has an opportunity to eject innocent natives from their homes. Indeed, ejection and banning are the only type of "governance" that Durkadurkiranistan has pursued while in possession of The Dourian Embassy. That is why we have nothing whatsoever to fear from this new forum or its sham regime. Put simply, the so-called "Governor Imperator" has no clothes.

In his message to the region, Durkadurkiranistan encouraged Osirans to petition him for pardon and to get involved in this new forum and its colonial fraud of a "government." We, the people of the Kemetic Republic of Osiris do not petition tyrants. We have no interest in being involved in the so-called "Osiris Imperium," and we continue to insist that our community is represented by its legitimate government on our legitimate forum. I encourage each citizen and indeed each resident of Osiris to show our "Governor Imperator" exactly what we think of his new forum and faux "government" by taking the following steps:

1. All nations with the ability to change their pretitles should change it to "The Governor Has No Clothes."

2. All nations should change their national motto to: "Our Home: http://s13.zetaboards.com/Osiris_NS/index/"

3. All nations should strive to remember to include the URL to our forum at the end of each and every post they make on our Regional Message Board, which still belongs to this community and not to Durkadurkiranistan or the Gatesville Inc invaders.

I remain confident that with all of us working together we will soon liberate Osiris and restore governance over this region to you, her people. I ask for your patience and for your persistence in resisting the invaders in our midst and in continuing to assert that this region belongs to her community, and that we will not recognize any forum nor any government besides those which the community of Osiris has freely chosen.

This title is misnamed, in my opinion. The rogue, underground movement represented by this embassy does not control Osiris in-game. A government without a territory to govern, basically. I could just as easily start up a farcical underground movement in the East Pacific and start an embassy named 'Embassy of the East Pacific', by the same token here.

As the rightful delegate of Osiris according to the game mechanics, I object, at any rate.
