Starting Point: 3? Home planets are the Motherships, they don't have a planet
Backstory: The Tetryx, born on a planet much like the home planet of Human's they mirrored their growth in all ways except one, they developed far, far faster than they could have ever hoped for Humans to evolve, their minds bulged with beyond genius-level intellect as a young race and they went into hiding for a long time. As a single group of Tetryx exist they are all under the control of their queen. At a population of 50 billion they have a large group of people in their military, though it is larger than one would expect at 800 million and to their technology they are extremely capable. Not much else is known about The Tetryx, only that they have been in hiding and they thought now would be a good time to rise.
Trade, it literally doesn't exist as they have just remerged from the depths though up until now they have been capable of self-sustaining themselves, politics...they're a bit anti-social in case you didn't notice[yeah, most diplomatic relations end in a faction getting curbed stomped or sent back home].
They are ridiculously intelligent and have a wide array of psionic capabilities, they specialize in high technology in general[such as energy uses, biotech, cybernetic weaponry, etcetera]
Starting spot: 3?
This is Eldar with a high population, basically. Could you give them some disadvantages?

Yes, but no alliances does not matter if you sweep the entire sector in the first five turnsCould you give them another?

Erm...they can't trade. Again, not having outside politics is sort of...bad...ya' know? Okay, how about...
I can't really think of one >.>'
How about they have immune systems weak to Alien infections no matter the race so they have to wear exo-suits/exoskeletons/something[to help them not die with in seconds].

I would like to join this, but quick questions.
1) Can we create our own race?
2) Can races have specializations in technology? Like nanotech experts or orbital building
3) Do we have to win by taking over the galaxy by war, or can we just create a space society?
4) Is a universal translator a given?
1) Yes, but you have to give a description so I can balance it out.
2) Yes, like Eldar have advanced tech and Ruuk-Hon are good at building.
3) Good idea, you could just create a space society, though that could be boring. You can definitely try!
4) Yes, otherwise this would dissolve into madness.

The Enchidei colonist were being forced to withdraw as the cold drove them closer and closer to an unbreakable sleep. It seemed only the Hunams could stand the cold, making use of native hide from some hulking tusked beast that roamed the lands. Something like a hairy cow-bear that some how made the land it's home. Upon observation it was found that the omnivorous creature fed on fish from below the ice as well as a creeping root that grew below the frozen soil.
One of the corvettes that had accompanied the fleet escorted the Enchidei back to Supina while the other remained to protect and monitor the colony. The world was named Ypóloipo Fídi in memory of the Enchidei who had fallen into a deep hibernation.Equalsun Empire wrote:Equalsun smiled coldly. These aliens were mistaken if they thought they were taking Continua. He ordered the orbital platforms to charge weapons, and for Eldenor to come back to Continua. Moments later, the rest of the entire EOEN appeared from seemingly nowhere, surrounding the aliens. "I am sorry, but I shall have to decline. This planet is under control of the Equalsun Empire, and it is not going to fall under Alien control." All EOEN ships started charging their weapons, their shields up and ready.
WisdomIsWise quickly ran the models of how a battle right here and now would turn out, but the results were muddled. There isn't enough information about their technology, except they have cloak abilitys either equal or better than those equipped on the Quandise transports. There were also severe energy readings from all ships across their entire surfaces, with peaks at likely weapon placements. This means they have either shields or very powerful reactors on board.
But the Quandise fleet also has advantages. Since they too use cloakibg technology they should be able to find the enemy, and their own transports are still hidden so they could be used later. The shields also shouldn't pose to much of a hassle because in all of the Quanise's experiments it took enourmous amounts of energy to protect against purely ballistic weapons. The final risk is that of the ship's possible speeds and the risk of reenforcements.
This was processed all withing 3/8ths of a second before WisdomIsWise had a conclusion. It sebt a message back to AlphaMind explaining the situation and then messaged the lead enemy ship.
~WisdomIsWise
The Quandise Expansion cannot be stopped.
With that all Quandise ships started firing their balistic weapons, which gave off no power spikes before use like the enemy's do, and started rotating the ships so the heaviest armor was direct towards the enemies and protected the smaller vessels.
(Because they us ballistics you can dodge the attacks, but they fired off a ton so think of flak clouds were it is near impossible to dodge everything)
