The Civil War killed hundreds of thousands of Americans and devastated large parts of the nation. That was when America had far fewer people and was using 19th. century weapons. First of all, I don't support killing innocent people or persecuting peoples' beliefs, which is a big part of why I don't want a civil war.

And I don't think Obama is trying to "...disarm the population...". The regulations he supported would not have taken away everyones' guns. And even if he wanted to take away everyones' guns, he couldn't, because pro-gun people have enough power to prevent it, as proven by the defeat of a gun control bill in Congress.

And frankly, if you're advocating a civil war, the police probably should be keeping an eye on you.
