You realize that there is not a shred of archaeological evidence that "Israel" was ever enslaved in Egypt, right? Israel appears to have risen all on its own in the Judaean hills.

Considering that there is minimal - if any - archaeological evidence for the vast majority of what was written in the Bible: probable.

On the other hand, Moses' people may have also been just a subset of all Israelites that happened to wander over to Egypt and find themselves enslaved, just as the Great Flood is hypothesized to have originated from a local flood that seemed global (or perhaps swept a sailor out to sea).

2. But, if he had simply teleported all of the people out of Egypt, he wouldn't have had the chance to create a lasting impression on them to show them that the Jewish God is real and all-powerful.

2. Teleporting the out of Egypt would have been pretty damn impressive. How about teleporting them out of Egypt, turning the sphinx and all the pyramids upside-down, and making the sky above Egypt (and only above Egypt) have giant neon purple writing saying that YHWH, the god of the Jews, is lord of all creation? Wrong, you see, the Jewish believe that only Jews needed to believe and worship God at that time. They believed that anyone who was not a Jew didn't have to worship their God, and that they just had to be good. In fact, when you try to become a Jew today, there is a tradition procedure that you have to go through in which the priest actually tries to dissuade you from becoming a Jew. Therefore, the Jews weren't preaching their religion to them, and most likely rarely mentioned it. Therefore, they didn't really get a fair chance to convert so, if they were good, they went to heaven.

Were the Sodomites Jewish? If not, why did God punish all of them for "sinning" if:

1. it's not explicitly stated that every single Sodomite was cruel to the "stranger" (applicable even if the Sodomites were Jewish, by the way)
2. only Jews are held to God's definitions of "sin"

Well that's the idea of predestination. The basic idea is that God hardens to souls of the evil so they don't follow God's will just to go to heaven. That way people know who the evil people are from the generally good. The Pharaoh most likely was a sinner, and most likely evil.

Yes, he was a sinner - not because of his own doing, but because God forced him to be, not even giving him a chance to repent, or to realize "hey, it's pretty fucked up that I'm enslaving an entire race; I should set them free".

God doesn't want humanity to prosper. He just wants personal playthings. This is becoming increasingly apparent.
