Element: Wind
Personality: Lighthearted but quite dignified, Charlie at points can seem like a very eccentric individual, to the point of being a little obnoxious at times. However, her quite effective way of thinking outside the box and her exquisite politeness and demeanor make up for it. Charlie''s not one to be scared quite easily, but she prefers to handle difficult situations with reason or a diplomatical approach. She dislikes violence, especially needless one.
Weaknesses: Due to her revulsion against violence, and having a quite laid back attitude, Charlie never practiced using her elemental powers in an aggressive way. Due to this, she's also quite a screw up with weapons, be them melee weapons or firearms. Her curiosity can at times be somewhat dangerous for herself.
Equipment: A notebook (pen and paper), a diary, a magnifying glass.
Bio: Charlie grew up in the Kones Institute for Orphans, a renowned orphanage situated in Gallia's capital, Villdernheim. Her actual name was Sharlee, but after the little girl protested to her caretakers that she found her name to be ugly, it became customary for them to refer to her with the much more appreciated "Charlie".
Charlie had always been a quite cheery and inventive person, for the standards of someone who had lost her parents at a young age. Her caretakers appreciated this creativity: it helped Charlie on focusing on her work, and most importantly, prevented her from entertaining herself in another way.
Namely, flinging shit around with her Elemental powers of wind. It wasn't like she had ever harmed anyone in the few occasions she had done it. Rather, her caretakers feared that an angry crowd would have burned the orphanage after learning of the presence of an Elemental in the institute.
That said, Charlie grew up to become a surprisingly analytical and inquisitive person. Her skills and aptitude in searching and discovering things and information would have made her a perfect police inspector, but instead she decided to start a career as investigative journalist, after leaving the istitute. Which she quickly did, after half the orphans in there witnessed her flinging the principal against the wall due to an error.
Luckily, the principal was quite magnanimous with Charlie, even if he had lost a few teeth due to her powers. He was even polite enough to bestow the Kones surname to Charlie, trying to encourage her to leave and build a life of her own. Without flinging other people away with gusts of wind, possibly.
And thus, Charlie started her career as a freelance journalist slash writer and part-time mistery solver, all while trying to discover if there are others like her in the world, and most importantly, who were her parents.

Personality: Personality wise, he's this; he is cold-blooded and evil. He's a ruthless individual who seeks to control and manipulate everything and everyone around him, and he'll use any means necessary to do so, when he has the opportunity. Perhaps the most dangerous thing about Dalvarien, however, is the fact that he believes that he is bringing peace to the land by controlling people to the point where they have no choices. They are to follow him absolutely, worship him like a god, and anyone who dares have a different opinion and speaks out on it is punished severely, with torture and even death. This is how he behaves when there's no one above him in rank, and he'll make sure that this becomes the case, sooner or later.
He also craves power, especially absolute power; elevation from his position as a noble to king not being to far away in his ambitions, though he knows it'll take time to rise that far. He does not like to have his authority challenged, and when things don't go his way, he becomes furious, lashing out with violence and anger, when he loses control. Though he doesn't like it when that happens, either. Thus, he may seek to supplant those above him, in time.e
Yet he can also be subtle and smooth, willing to bide his time, manipulating the weak of mind into believing whatever he wants them to believe. He'll tell you that he's only trying to protect you, that he has your best interests at heart. He'll convince you that he's the good guy, that he's just misunderstood, even while he's slowly putting the screws to you behind your back. He lies as easily as breathing and shows not an ounce of remorse. He can seem to be "on the good side", but in truth, he's on his own side. Dalvarien can be blunt, as much as he can be manipulative. There are several facets to his personality, and among them, perhaps even a part that isn't so bad.
Weaknesses: Though he tries not to be, he can be perhaps a little too decisive at times, doing things without quite thinking them through. Arrogant, not always the sanest of individuals, and may find water as a weakness, since electricity and water, when they encounter, tend to result in an unpredictable, damaging, possibly to both things, erratic, chaotic situation- generally bad for all involved. Not as good with unarmed combat or bows as he is with swords. I'm not sure how wind vs lightening would work out, so I'll justleave it as a possible weakness.Having looked it up a bit, it seems that in the Elemental rock-paper-scissors, wind beats lightning. I think Earth can be resistant to lightning, though it's uncertain. As for fire and ice against lightning; more or less equal. On a more tradiional chaacter weaknes note; women. May add a few others.
Equipment, if any: Clothing, light plate armour. A slightly curved sword. Heavy heater shield. Black warhorse. Some generic travelling gear and items. Also, a kusarigama, because I can.
Bio: Born the first son of a powerful lord in Dal Erain, he was positively enshrouded in prophecies; some good, and some bad. All of them mentioned important events and actions. When Dalvarien was old enough to understand these things, he became a veracious reader of books of the arcane and sorcerous variety. His father told him to not believe in prophecies, and that the future is what he would forge it to be. Nonetheless, he still regarded such things as important; especially prophecies of the kind that said specific things must come to pass, and when they did, the prophecy would have become validated. Malachar excelled in his training, when he learnt to fight with most forms of weaponry. He most notably took to swords, soon surpassing some of the best men in the Crimson Guard, the family's elite personal army. He also made numerous friends when he could, though sometimes he was prone to showing a darker side. Some elements of his childhood might not necessarily have been so nice.
He often journeyed out from the family home in Elingarth, going to magical focal points- places of power, and various ancient temples, tombs and other things of that variety, often with magical past soaked into their very stones. He killed, planned and schemed his way towards the mastering of his element, even at his young age, and when he could not gain power through those means, he befriended the few elementals he found here and there in the land, and if he could not turn on them and kill them at the last moment, then he would simply leave when they had taught him all he could learn, or that they were prepared to.
He also made deals with powerful supernatural creatures to achieve his ends, too. Dalvarien returned to Elingarth one time, and discovered that a sorcerer- or some other being that possessed sorcerous powers, had killed his father in an unnatural fire. In a rage, he hunted down the being and tracked it down to a chambered cairn. There, he found a strange, vaguely humanoid shadow creature. He gave it no quarter, obliterating it and the cairn in which it had inhabited with a deluge of lightning. Dalvarien went back to Elingarth, and strengthened its magical defences greatly, as he did not wish the rest of his family to be in a similar danger. Occasionally returning to Elingarth, he prefers to travel around the world, sometimes travelling to important cities, like the capital, and meeting with members of other noble families. Among his travels, he found and earned the respect of several members of some influental organisations, as well as some individuals of note in the militaries of numerous countries, and during which, he learnt of some of their tactics and fighting styles when possible, increasing the knowledge and capability he already had in those areas.
