What he's done is not worthy of condemnation, as it's an action that is not only legal (if not preferable), but one that anyone can take without any sort of special effort. That's not the kind of thing that the SC should be condemning.

AGAINST.

That and it sets a dangerous precedent when it comes to behaviour that has, so far not been deemed worthy of the WA's time. As crimes go these are small fry.

Gents (and ladies where applicable), how many of your lands have actually been into large-scale war with other lands? Things get mighty dangerous, sometimes, weapons of that sort have an actual application. A final/last resort for when the defenses have been breached and the foe is slaughtering your civilians. That may very well be the most fatalistic thing I have ever said. (In the long run, yeah small-fry crimes, who gives a damn.)

The person in question is not even a WA member and not subject to its laws. How this even got as far as a vote is beyond me. If anyone needs condemning, its the person who submitted this condemn in the first place as well as the delegates who approved it. I thought that was what delegates were for, to weed out the resolutions that don't belong there. Starting to think we need to start testing our delegates to make sure they know what qualifies for voting.

Somebody needs to develop and implement RSP/IP1 and hand it over to the mods. We'd be delighted to add to our extensive lists.

Since Emporia Towers isn't a WA delegate and is supposedly "selling biological weapons", I'm against the resolution.

Emporia Towers isn't a WA delegate, and there's no solid proof of them selling biological weapons. Eh, against.

Firstaria doesn't see any proof of the accusations made in this proposal, and also notices that Emporia Towers is not in the WA, therefore is not subject to WA regulations. If sanctions have to be put, that is a decision of the SC, but a condemnations is not what it seems logic in this case.

Seeing as the accusation lacks proof and the fact that the accused nation is not in the WA and thereby needs not adhere to the intenational law proposed by the WA, Titanshadow12 is strongly AGAINST the proposed condemnation.

Seeing no proof of Biological weapons in Emporia Towers, we disapprove of this resolution.

And realizing that Emporia Towers, a nation who is not in the WA, is not a subject to International Regulations. Therefore.

I am confused as to how this made quorum in the first place. Emporia Towers is not a WA member, hence any legislation here doesn't apply to them, thus rendering this proposal moot. Although I would probably vote against this condemnation even if it was a WA member due to the astonishing lack of proof that their "biological weapons" even exist. AGAINST

Frankly, there is no evidence that Emporia towers, a nation not even in the WA, committed these crime. Assuming the nation did commit these crimes, I would be will to force them into negotiations, or use force. However, this resolution is too ill prepared to be passed.

But however, due on the fact that Emporia Towers is not the member of WA, therefore WA Resolutions do not apply to him, against.

I'm generally against RP-based SC resolutions. Commendations/condemnations should only be made when a nation has really done something, e.g. build a prosperous region or invade one. That way they represent real effort or bullying.

I am appalled that any nation would willingly create products specifically designed for self destruction. In Satori Fore Nirvana humans are a protected species and on principal I must condemn Emporia Towers for these appalling acts.

However, seeing as Emporia Towers is not a WA member, I find this vote useless and ineffective. What does the WA hope to achieve in finger waving?

Crack Fetus is against this ludicrous resolution, but to be clear, Crack Fetus is also against infecting people with HIV.

I don't really see the military uses of that anyhow, HIV takes a long time to incapacitate people and is just as likely to come back to the country of origin through tourism and commerce.

The Permanent Representation of Kringalia to the WA

Upon careful examination of the proposed text the Republic of Kringalia has concluded that Emporia Towers is not a WA member and thus is not subject to the jurisdiction thereof. Furthermore, the proposing nation has offered no proof whatsoever in support of the articles of condemnation.

In reaffirming its commitment to the rule of international law, considering the aforementioned facts and under instructions from the Department of Foreign Affairs the Republic of Kringalia will vote AGAINST this proposal.

Permanent Representative of Kringalia to the WA

Against! The WA has no right to condemn a nation that isn't a part of it. I pitty anyone that even votes for, as this is clearly overstepping the power and reach the WA has. This is a sham and a total abuse of power.

Neurotoxins are not biological agents and are not affected by GA 242. That is enough to disqualify the proposal in my eyes.

I am against this proposal because it is condemning a non-WA nation for not acting like a WA nation. This is unacceptable.

If you want to condemn Emporia Towers, condemn them for the reprehensible act of distributing biological weapons and neurotoxins. I would in favor of such a proposal.
