Pretty much America's Military bases across the world (like the 50+ around Iran etc in case of war.) and people saying America wants to be the Global Police.

I'm glad Britain's not the global police anymore! It's horrible. So America's welcome for it.

But back to the point, many people say that America uses it's vast military might and lots of military bases to control countries so they have to obey the USA. So that America gets everything done without ever having to fire a missile, etc.

Also I do refer to the USA as America. It's easier.

I'm unsure if this is what you meant, but it's the closest I've seen to "American Imperialism."

American imperialism? Well let's see, get a dictionary and define Imperial; it will come up with something along the lines of Empire, overseas power. Now do some research and find what America has been doing in the last hundred years.

It's very much one of those "you know it when you see it" kind of things. You learn to recognise it from experience.

Only it could be for maybe a debate in a similar forum, or just out of curiosity. I have found things that i wasn't able to comprehend from books easily, but understood them better when told in simpler words by someone else.
