Stuckenburg rents out Västö

The government of Stuckenburg has decided to rent out the Municipality of Västö to the highest bidder, in order to solve the economical problems. If you are interested you can find all information here:

Post your bid if you are interested.

Highest bid so far: 750 million NSD per year.

Edit: If you post a bid you can either say how much you would like to pay and for how long, or how much you are offering per year.

The auction will last until 12 hours after a bid that no one challanges has been posted.

Edit 2:

And if two bidders offer the same amount of money per year, the one who wants to rent it longer will be the highest bidder.

Dear Sirs, the Phoenixian government hereby bits 1 billion Dollar for renting this Island 100 years with the option of extend the contract multiple times for the same price.
We will keep the military to a minimum 1:1000 ratio for the settlers we are putting there.
Also we guarantee that there will be no radioactive fall out or irreparable damage on the environment.

We shall bid 1.5 billion for 30 years, during which we shall only maintain a minimal military presence and open up metal mines. As experienced miners with many years of experience within the Principality's borders as well as several past overseas projects, we have acquired sophisticated mining techniques that maximize yields while dealing minimal damage to the environment. We would also promise to employ the local residents in the mining operations so they do not need to be evicted. If required, Stuckenburgian personnel can remain on the island to supervise if required.

P.S. It shall be translated to Våstö if we would be granted temporary ownership of the island.

Romberg is currently the highest bidder, if anyone would like to bid higher they will have to make sure that their bid shows more than 500,000 NSD per year.

His Highness, Lord William of Shropsbury, has submitted a bid of US$ 6 billion to rent the island of Västö (to be renamed West Island for the duration of his reign over the islands) for 100 years, and will be willing to bid up to US$ 10 billion. We would also inquire as to when the bidding period will end.

Is His Noble Highness offering 6 billion per year or 6 billion for 100 years?
And as an answer to his question, the auction will end 12 hours after that people has stopped posting bids.

Until that can be agreed upon, His Highness has temporarily raised his bid to US$ 16 billion for 100 years (US$ 160 million per year).
