When the dwarves of Durin killed the last standing force of wildmen Durin sended a letter to Nogrod with the orders of sending their full army towards Edoras.
Also he orderd his 3000 men to return to Edoras, Durin would stay there to wait for the events to shift.
(the full army of Nogrod will be 4000 strong, besides the 5000 that are already with Durin)

Durin then sended a letter to each and every dwarven realm to gather all dwarves under one banner at Edoras.
Durin expected to get around 15.000 dwarven soldiers from all kinds of dwarven realms.

At last Durin sended one dwarf on a pony to Helms Deep to see what the Kingdom of Rohan was up to, and ofcourse to ask for permittion to stay in Edoras with the dwarven army.

Edoras, Kingdom of Rohan
Theoden rode into Edoras just as Eomer said that, "Eomer, did you really just say that,?" then Theoden looked at the Dwarf, "Master Dwarf you are to leave Edoras immeditaly, I will not allow you to rally in my capital, so ride to the border and do your work." Theoden then looked at Eomer, "Guards take him into Meduseld." The Gaurds Grabbed Eomer...........

Then Theoden had Eomer taken to Meduseld and Feodren locked up in Irons.

The army of Durin was outrages.
"So this is how you reward us and your own men for saving this forsaken city?" said Durin angered...
Durin didn't even took the gifts, not after what happend

"Fine, but don't expect any help from any dwarf anymore Theoden!" "As for you Eomer, call us when you need us and we will be there as fast as a stone rolls"

And so Durin and the dwaves pushed the Rohirrem out of their way and started their march towards the border.
Dwarves did not forgive quickly and Durin got more angered with every step he setted, soon he would have an army strong enough to face Rohan.. But would he do that for just one unthankful king?

(Godmod, you can't lock me up.)

"But my lord, we marched on Edoras with only forty men, we did this because we are loyal servants, we nearly would've died and happily of, unless the dwarves had saved us, you cannot surely lock us up for repaying a debt to our saviours?" Eomer spoke as he resisted the gaurds

Edoras, Kingdom of Rohan
Theoden stared at Eomer and Feodren. Then he had Feodren put on a horse and gagged. Theoden then had the guards let go of Eomer. Then he said to Eomer, "Take 3 men and go and scout the dwarves." Then Theoden and the rest of the men in Edoras with everything Eomer gathered and all but 3 men left and Theoden and his company rode for Dunharrow. Only Eomer and 3 men were left in Edoras. Meanwhile in Helms Deep more men were armed and the gates were closed to all.

Gandalf

Helm's Deep

Over the rise of the hill near the Deeping Wall rode Gandalf, his party trotting briskly at his back. They had traveled steadily, resting for only brief stretches at night. Shadowfax halted, and the Grey Wanderer stroked his beard as he contemplated the newly completed fortifications of the mighty fortress of the Eorlingas. From behind him came a mutter grunt of appreciation from the dwarf, and a "well, some men can build" as the red-haired fellow spoke to his tall pale companion.

"Theoden king fears much these days- as well he should." said Gandalf to himself. One of the men, a lanky fellow with dark hair, kneed his horse. It trotted up to the wizard's side and the man seemed to search Gandalf's face.

"You have not changed much old friend; you still speak in riddles."

The wizard harrumphed. "I speak of that which is plain, Dunedan. Open war looms over the land of the Horse-Lords, and Theoden is bracing for war to come. As should we all. A cloying darkness creeps from the east, and all trees must prepare themselves to weather it as best they can. Come now, let us speak to the lord of the Riddermark."

At that the company nudged their horses forward, making for the causeway leading up to the newly-strengthened gate of the Hornburg.

A tear formed in Eomers eye as his own uncle, a father to him, has just tried to arrest him, one upon a go, Theoden was a man of honour, chivalry, and gratitude. Now his dealings with evil had warped a man he loved into a man who he now feared.

If anyone could cure his uncle from the dark powers that corrupted his uncle, he fell to the kings old throne and was overcome with sadness at what he was about to do. He wrote a note and placed it on the throne of Rohan

"What the numerous lifetimes of your fathers died to create is being undone within a single lifetime, I cannot watch the Rohirrim be destroyed by someone who I once called king, but within my heart called father."

Eomer placed the parchment on the throne, he never expected Theoden to ever see it, but writing his feelings gave him closure. The two men placed to watch him were preoccupied, and never noticed Eomer ride through the gate towards the column of Durins Dwarves.

Gandalf looked up at the gate, peering at the man high upon the wall.

"I seek old friends, to take heart and give counsel in these times of watchfulness. I would have words with Theoden son of Thengel, your king."

He nodded and looked back at his companions.

"These are friends of Rohan, and of her king. We seek to help the Riddermark through the strengths of our arms and the courage of our steel."

The tall man next to Gandalf looked up at the walls carefully, his face stony, as men filed along them with bows.

He turned to the wizard as behind him the pale haired elf gripped his longbow tightly. "Gandalf, perhaps now is not the best time to speak with the Rohirrim. They are hot-blooded, and something has pushed them to the edge of darkness."

Mithrandir nodded, and spoke once more to the guard atop the gate.

"That is a merry tale, for weary travelers to be turned away after a journey of many days. It seems the courtesy of the folk of the Riddermark is lessened of late." He shook his head sadly. "Can you then tell me whence your lord has gone, that I may speak with him there?"

"He said he was riding on a scouting mission to the Limlight fort, to inspect it personally for garrison, its to the North, near the River on the edge of the Lothlorien Borders...." Meanwhile in Dunharrow.....
Theoden stood in the Tower at Dunharrow as he watched his orcs. He had a orc army of 14,000 now. He also had 60 trolls. Then he climbed down and walked over to his men. He had Feodrun brought forth. Then Theoden asked the orc overseer, "What is in that Pit?"
"500 orcs my lord Theoden."
"Ahh, Good," Theoden had Feodrun brought forth, he took out his sword. Theoen cut off Feodrun arms, then his legs. Feodrun screamed in agony. Then Theoden pushed him over into the Pit, "Orcs feast on Manflesh!!" The Orcs ate the remains of Feodrun. Theoden the had 5000 orcs assembled and had them wait at the gates. Then Theoden had trolls and the entire host brought out. Theoden then had the Overseer begin tp breed more orcs. Rohan was soon ready..........................

Eomer looked out across his homeland once more, knowing by now he'd of been banished. But for what? for being true to the legacy of Eorl and the Rohirrim and staying true to the light, however such willpower had never been gifted to Theoden who was so easily corrupted by darkness and now Eomer felt like the last free man of rohan.

"Durin, you are beyond kind. I am ready to die to set Rohan free from the corrupted grip of Theoden. I no longer see Theoden as a man of Rohan, which makes me the next claimant to the throne. A throne I may not take but a throne I will damn make sure a good man sits upon! But you do not know the worst of it Durin, he has the foulest pits on middle earth breeding orks by the masses. You will need many, many men"
