The Invasion of Planet Haden of 2325 is our most infamous one. We persecuted an intelligent race there to represent Humanity. Our General in charge at the time and the 4th Chancellor was a mad man. This was something The Sector Union is not known for and disgraced our nation.

The Pagan Crusades (2481 AD - 2682 AD) were a series of wars waged against the Catholic Church and various allies, with occasional assistance from other pagan/magic-using nations, by the now-defunct Conclave Region (of which Olwe was a major part, especially in military terms). It ended in a draw, with neither side really winning or losing.

The Phyrexian War (3422 AD - 3461 AD) was a prolonged campaign fought for the (eventually successful) conquest of Phyrexia by The Conclave (it later segued into Olwe's direct control, and was terraformed into a "green plane").

The Pentagram Wars (4987 AD - 4989 AD) were a series of skirmishes fought against nations that were threatening the sovereignty of Olwean allies, many of which overlapped to the point where Olwe had forces deployed to 2 or even 3 nations at a time. The campaign is named for the fact that it led to the formation of The Pentagram Bloc. It started with the invasion of Dekerin Domains by Egalitarian Akros, and the military response of Olwe and several other Dekerin allies which eventually forced an Akrosian surrender and withdrawal... it ended with the liberation (and eventual voluntary annexation by Olwe) of Free Cappadocia from Armenia Magna.

The Nicksyllvanian War (4989 AD - 4991 AD) began when Olwe was attacked by New Nicksyllvania and The Pentagram Bloc responded with military force on multiple fronts against the Nickies. It ended with the collapse of the Nicksyllvanian government under Olwean Emperor Jason Frost's aggressive psychological warfare campaign, and the subsequent annexation of Nicksyllvania by Imeriata.

The Slave Wars (4994 AD onward) just recently started and so far have amounted to just a lot of posturing and saber-rattling. The conflict started with Olwe instituting the Mandatory Boarding Policy, and will likely not end until either the coalition building up around Olwe is defeated, or all nations currently trading in slaves abolish slavery (or are destroyed or defeated).

The 1868 overthrow of the goverment by the military, known as the 'Purge' as many people were killed. Mostly politicians. A military junta was set up 2 Generals, 1 Admiral and 1 Chief Marshal of the Air Force in charge. They oppressed the people and create a totalitarian state.
In 1877 the military junta was overthrown after nearly 2 years of fighting.The people rebelled in the 'Great Liberation War' with the help of some defected soldiers led by Major General Thomas McArthur. This is a famous day and is celebrated each year as the greatest day in the Republics history, with Maj.General McArthur a hero.

There was numerous wars between ancient civilization, The Disease Era (a deadly bacteria spread through out the Native Trefeqians and the Tredian colonies, The Trefo-Tredian War (includes the Trefeqian Independence War), the Trefeqian Revolution, the Trefeqian War (civil war caused by the revolution), The Dictatorial Years, The Overpopulation Crisis (ongoing), and today marks the beginning of a collapsed Trefeqian economy.

(We did deserve retaliation from them at first, but the way this war has gone and the demands they have made are beginning to exceed a crime we never actually committed, considering that we stopped it from happening.)

The most infamous war was "The War of Six Dragons". Initiated by Emperor John IV, it was a war against Dragonists and Catholics. Catholics once ruled the nation, as it was the largest religion. Dragonism, a rather new religion, believed it should hold the power. John IV was a strong believer in Dragonism, killing anyone or anything in the way of it. This included murdering entire villages, including children.

The most infamous war is the Anglo-Carenian War, also known as The British invasion of Carena, or The Great Carenian Massacre.

Seeking revenge, the British king sent British armies to invade and retake Carena about 20 years after it's successful revolution. How ever, this supposedly called "quick and easy invasion" by the British, this turned about to be the Great Carenian Massacre. About 3 million Carenian civilians were killed, either on the battle front or home front. British forces eventually defeated Carenian coastal defense, and came from every side to capture Carisena. According to a local legend, a man named Feino Jakish defeated a large, powerful force of foreign warriors with a small army of untrained civilians on the same exact spot the British planned to attack. When the British attacked, they were defeated by a small civilian force. Eventually, trained soldiers and veterans arrived with the civilian army, and chased the British out of Carena, and the British retreated back to India.

The War of Words was a civil war caused by a misinterpretation between two of the many dialects. It caused one of the generals to mishear an order. It caused the next Summ'ux to declare an official Imperial dialect, the easiest for other Ixtherians to understand, to be used for all official orders.

Tovakyan War of 1803 – 1809 was a conflict between the Greater Pony Herd and the Republic of Lubyak. The war had over two million combatants from both nations colliding; and about 150,000-200,000 have died in it, with countless more wounded and captured.

A result of growing instability of the Lubyakan Republic, the war was an attempt by the democratic Lubyakan governance to direct the frustrations of its population from internal tensions and a deadlocked Parliament to a distant enemy, namely, the Greater Pony Herd. Consequently Lubyak manufactured a casus belli based around a small background conflict surrounding several negligibly tiny island colonies in the Tovakyan Ocean that separated the two nations.

From this, the Republic chose to begin a campaign to take some of aforementioned islands, while at the same time driving the GPH out of the Tovakyan Ocean and denying it naval dominance of the region. The Lubyakan Republic felt that the distance between the two nations, along with the Herd's apparent lack of interest in expanding further into the ocean would mean a "small and victorious war" with the Herd, and provide the Lubyakan Republic time to reorganize itself and prevent its dissolution.

Contrary to what the Lubyakans expected, the Herdite leadership had different plans; not exactly content with just sitting there while Lubyak claimed a quick victory and looking forward to using the rash declaration of war to its own means, namely doing away with a dangerous rival Great Power while it was unstable and gaining total naval dominance over the region. A naval counter-offensive was launched by the Herd; hundreds of ships from both parties met in the Tovakyan Ocean, to Lubyakans' surprise: they did not expect the Herdites to be willing to fight, and the Lubyakan Navy was almost completely decimated by the Herdite one; superior in numbers, training and also possessing magical powers and weather control abilities, in a few weeks, with Herdite ships already making ways into Lubyak's claimed waters.

At first, the Herdite plan was to advance slowly and spread their forces out, to claim Lubyakan outlying colonies and ports one by one, to create a robust logistics chain before making a decisive march on the Lubyakan capital, Erota, or already make peace demands as Lubyakan naval trade would be all but choked out. However Warmarshal Scorched Earth, the commander of the Herdite land forces assigned to invade Lubyak, had a different idea: so convinced he was of Herdite superiority, including a fanatical (even by the standards of the time) religious belief in the Herdites being followed and aided by his deities in combat, he rejected the previous plans, and pushed to march on Erota in full force without pause.

At first, the plan worked - the Herd had gained some ground, but then the logistic problems became evident as Herdite soldiers had to literally graze the meadows as they marched on, without a logistics convoy in sight for weeks, and the ammunition stores were also fading quickly. Yet still the Herdite forces have soon approached Lasala, a key trade city of Lubyak. By successfully taking Lasala, the Herd sought to cut Erota off from the eastern provinces of the republic, which would serve to divide the still considerable Lubyakan Army into smaller pieces, which could then be defeated in detail.

Yet when the Herdite forces approached Lasala, on March 22nd, 1805, they were met by a surprisingly considerable Lubyakan force, led by the Field Marshal Robert Welsley - it seemed that Lubyak was not squandering their forces, and was well-prepared for such a decisive battle. In the course of the Battle of Lasala, the Herdite army was crushed and thrown out back to the sea, while Warmarshal Scorched Earth himself was killed, reportedly in a duel with Field Marshal Welsley himself. His plan backfired after all.

With the Greater Pony Herd's invasion force, a considerable chunk of its ground forces, destroyed, and with the Lubyakan Republic's fleet destroyed, the GPH and Lubyakan Republic agreed to pursue peace in 1809. Some of Lubyak's outlying colonies were ceded to the GPH, and massive reparations were paid; but the key advantage to the Herd was that with the destruction of the Lubyakan fleet, the GPH had no regional peer in naval power and trade anymore for decades to come. However overjoyed the Herdites were at the outcome, the war has directly led to the dismantling of the weak republican regime in Lubyak and the rise of the strong, dictatorial, Dominion of the Lubyak that would once again rise as a much more dangerous rival to the future Herd, but that's for another story...
