It's not irrational if you have a rational reasoning. Saying "It's not irrational" without providing said reason does nothing to dispel the idea of it being irrational.

Most currency already is digital. A huge percentage of the United States dollars in circulation exist only as data, not as physical objects.

We dont need physical currency therefore, it will be obsolete hence electronic payment will eventually replace physical currency.
