Warjacks are too large to move around as fast as regular troops, and they're too small to go with the support lines.

Also, it's expensive to have a bunch of Warjacks charge across a field rather than send many soldiers armed probably just as well as a couple warjacks and support them with obsolete tanks that still have the guns to pack the punch and are cheap to build.

First, the warjack doesnt fit the person, the person fits the warjack, and second the warjack is made to fit to almost everyone, minor adjustments can be made inside the armor. Also, it's expensive to have a bunch of Warjacks charge across a field rather than send many soldiers armed probably just as well as a couple warjacks and support them with obsolete tanks that still have the guns to pack the punch and are cheap to build.
Who said I would charge with Warjacks only? First infantry, then while the enemy is distracted fighting them, send the close quarters warjacks in to finish off the enemy.

Oh aye. Use it. Other might not however, and are giving there reasons not too. This RP is really Quasi-Steampunk BTW. And just make specs for the Warjack up.
