Its January 06, and everyone is celebrating here in Puerto Rico, Three Kings Day (Dia de los Reyes). It is even celebrated more then December 25. PR. is generally the few places that still celebrates it in a big way. People have parties and make promises to the Three Kings.
Schools here have generally been closed since around Dec. 10 for the Christmas holiday which ends here after Three Kings Day. They should restart on January 9.
It really is a nice holiday in which kids the day before have to cut some grass for the camels that bring the Three Kings and presents. Some people here give gifts on this day and not on Christmas. The Governor even gives out gifts to a long line of kids in the Capital City.
Side note - The Germans have what is supposedly left of the Three Kings in Cologne. In the Great Cathedral in Cologne. I would think the town of Juana Diaz would love to have them. They even have a museum dedicated to the Three Kings.
